Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim
THE END IS WHAT MATTERS
Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm:
وَلِلَّهِ عَاقِبَةُ الْأُمُورِ
(Qur’ān 22:41). ‘Wa Lillāh `Āqibatu Al-‘Umūri’, ‘And to Allah belongs the outcome of [all] matters.’ Everything will turn back to Allah ﷻ in the end with the permission of Allah ﷻ. With the will of Allah ﷻ, those who are with Him ﷻ and those who are against Him ﷻ will face Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla as a result. But people don’t take this into account. They don’t think of it.
We ask that our end is good. When the end is bad, you will give the account of everything you did in this world and you will be punished. People are impatient. They are unwise. We must look at everything that happens with wisdom, as there are both hardships and ease. People should not be upset for hardships. They must look how their end will be. May the end be good. This is what is important.
Everything we go through and this life will have an end eventually. Whoever has life with a good end will be saved. That is the life of happiness. No matter how much hardship they go through in this world, those who are on the way of Allah ﷻ will be rewarded and given Thawab. Those who are not on the way of Allah ﷻ have no benefit and no goodness. They have nothing but harm.
Sometimes there is hardship. At the end of the day, or eventually, when people reach safety, they must make Shukr to Allah ﷻ. They must praise Allah ﷻ. Because with Shukr and praise, you submit to Allah ﷻ, and your faith and belief in Allah ﷻ are recovered. Otherwise, if you rebel, there will be no benefit at all. You won’t attain any Thawab. Therefore, look at the end of your action. May every action of ours have a good end insha’Allah. Wa min Allah at-Tawfiq. Al-Fatiha.
