GUARD YOUR ADAB
The most beloved people for Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla are the good-mannered ones. People with good manners and Adab are beloved servants of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. And Tariqah exists in order to teach those beautiful manners. Where do the beautiful manners come from? Our Holy Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam is the most perfect person. Our Holy Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam is the example for humanity. He ﷺ is the one who teaches people in all aspects.
Humanity was in darkness without him ﷺ. Before our Holy Prophet ﷺ, people were in darkness and ignorance. Our Holy Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam taught them good manners and Adab, and the light spread all over the world. Even Kafirs had to follow his ﷺ way. Even though they didn’t walk on this way, they had to respect people and do things valued by our Holy Prophet ﷺ so that people didn’t leave them and go out of their religions. And then after 1,400 years, they brought up human rights. Whereas our Holy Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam had said these things 1,400-1,500 years before that. Certainly, other Prophets had said so before him ﷺ too. However, they changed it according to their minds. They didn’t leave anything of it.
Shukr to Allah ﷻ, Allah ﷻ protected our religion. It is under protection. It is the religion that brings great benefit, great honor and great pride to people. Those who are in this religion must guard this Adab. They must guard the beautiful manners. They shouldn’t look up to others and say, “People must live like that.” People don’t live like that, animals do. Even animals don’t live like those people do.
Allah ﷻ gave honor to people. He ﷻ gave them value. But their way is to make people dishonored and unvaluable. This is their goal. Whom do they follow? They follow shaytan. Because shaytan is the biggest enemy of people. Enemies don’t wish goodness to their enemies. They certainly wish badness. Therefore, don’t harm yourselves with the enemy. Protect yourselves. May Allah ﷻ protect us. The right way is the way of our Holy Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. People who walk on this way will be happy here and hereafter. May Allah ﷻ not separate us from this way. And may He ﷻ give guidance to people. Wa min Allah at-Tawfiq. Al-Fatiha.
