Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim
CORRUPTION NEVER LEADS TO GOODNESS
Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm:
إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُصْلِحُ عَمَلَ الْمُفْسِدِينَ
(Qur’ān 10:81). ‘Inna Allāha Lā Yuşliĥu `Amala Al-Mufsidīn’, ‘Indeed, Allah does not amend the work of corrupters.’ Allah ﷻ never makes the work of those who do badness good. The ending of the work of those who corrupt is always bad. There is no benefit, and no benefit for themselves as well.
People think they are vigilant. And in order to get profit, they do different things. Eventually, their work is ruined, and they are ruined themselves. The things done by people with bad intentions will never have goodness, as Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla doesn’t help them and as He ﷻ doesn’t love them. Corruption doesn’t lead to goodness. It leads to badness. If you show it as if you are doing goodness, Allah ﷻ knows the truth.
Therefore, be on the right path. Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla says to our Holy Prophet ﷺ as an order. BismiLlahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim: “فَاسْتَقِمْ كَمَا أُمِرْتَ وَمَن تَابَ مَعَكَ”, ‘Fa-staqim kamā umirta wa-man tāba ma‘aka’, ‘So remain on a right course as you have been commanded, [you] and those who have turned back with you [to Allah ].’(Qur’ān 11:112). Be on the right path, as you have been commanded. The right path is the way of improvement. Don’t go to the way of corruption, says Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. Those who are with our Holy Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam must be like him ﷺ upon the straight path. They must not lie, not do wrong and evil. Those who do will find no benefit. Because those who do this for Dunya which is worth a penny and think they are in profit have no profit at all. Certainly, as Allah ﷻ doesn’t like it, Allah ﷻ will punish them. If He ﷻ doesn’t give them punishment here, it will be worse in Akhirah.
Therefore, it is the greatest blessing to be with Allah ﷻ. It is the greatest blessing to be a beloved servant of Allah ﷻ. We must strive to attain the pleasure of Allah ﷻ and do whatever brings the pleasure of Allah ﷻ. And we should stay away from whatever corruption there is that Allah ﷻ dislikes. May Allah ﷻ help us. It seems easy, however, the ego likes corruption more. Therefore, we must be careful with that. May Allah ﷻ protect us from the evil of our egos and from the evil of bad ones. Wa min Allah at-Tawfiq. Al-Fatiha.
