Happy Birthday Beloved Mawlana Shaykh Nazim (QS)!

Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim

HappyB'day-Mawlana

Our Lord Almighty says: Draw near to Me! I will grant you a place in My Eternal Kingdom, where you will abide in ever-lasting beauty for all eternity.

Mawlana sheikh nazim qs

A flower, Shaykh Mehmet Efendi, is alive and sprouts afresh. Through its fresh green it wishes to approach Allah Almighty. Even a green blade of grass grows and puts forth flowers. For what? Let me win their hearts, let me draw close to my Lord, it says. How lovely! It springs forth from the ground, the black earth. It turns green and shows its various colours. For whom does it produce such beauty? Whom does it do this for? Ah, if only we could realize this! All the different kinds of flowers, the different types of trees, the different kinds of fruits, for what do they all grow and flower, and shine? wa-btaghū ilayhi l-wasīla. (5:35) In order to gain the Lord’s good pleasure. Eh, we have become sticks of dry wood. Dry wood. Our Lord Almighty says: Draw near to Me! I will grant you a place in My Eternal Kingdom, where you will abide in ever-lasting beauty for all eternity. Do not dry up and perish. Allahu Akbar. Subhan Allah, Sultan Allah.

Attributes of Awliya

Sultan Sheikh Mehmet Adil al-Haqqani (Qs), sohbat – August 4, 2014.

Sultan-ShaykhMehmet

As-salamu aleykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu. A‘udhu billahi min ash-shaytani r-rajim. Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. Madad ya RasulAllah, madad, ya Sadatı Ashabi Rasulillah, madad, ya Mashayikhına fi t-tariqati n-Naqshibandiya, madad ya Shaykh Abdullah Faiz adDaghistani, madad ya Shaykh Muhammad Nazim al-Haqqani dastur. Tariqatuna as-sohba, wa l-khayru fi jam’iyya.

Man is created with the characteristic of wildness. Allah, Azza wa Jalla, sent prophets in order to teach man how to turn that characteristic into a good, useful thing. After the time of the prophets came those who followed their ways, after them came saints and scholars. They came one after one, to teach what the prophets had taught. Man should never be idle. When he is idle, he begins to do bad things. To begin, he will deny Allah or, try to suit Allah’s commands to his own whims and his own ideas, saying, “this is Allah’s wish”.

This becomes the fitna of shaytan, what his nafs and his desire are asking. Therefore, it is important to have a murshid. A murshid is a person whose wish is to do Allah’s command. These are people whom Allah appointed to show others the way, to give them guidance. Shaytan does not love these people. Shaytan does not like them, and they also do not like those that shaytan loves. They call them mushrik, or whatever. Some say mushrik, some say something else. Shaytan and his friends do not like these people. But they are people beloved to Allah and His Prophet (sallAllahu alaihi wa sallam).

It is written about them: “A la inna awliya-Allahi la khawfun ‘alayhim wa la hum yahzanun”(10:36). There is no fear for those who are Friends of Allah, nor any sorrow. Allah does not cause them to be distressed, nor does He cause them to be fearful. Nothing else matters to them except to be with Allah Almighty. They fear only Allah and the Holy Prophet (sallAllahu alaihi wa sallam). Besides this they fear nothing. What causes them sorrow is when people are carried away by shaytan, when they are caught by the devil.

Nothing else causes them sadness, no personal concern is distressing to these people. Not illness, nor hunger or thirst. They do not grieve about themselves. However, these days there are many who spread false teachings. This happens in every age, of course as shaytan keeps changing his appearance. If it always stayed the same, everyone would know it. But nowadays philosophy is gaining strength and disputation, and what is called theology; shaytan engages in those things and manages to destroy people’s belief.

Those are their means, therefore we warn our people that murshids are beloved servants of Allah and His Prophet (sallAllahu alaihi wa sallam). From the time of the Holy Prophet (sallAllahu alaihi wa sallam) to this day, they have passed on from one shaykh to the next, from one murshid to the next. What they took from that ocean they distributed it step by step to this present day. They are not the kind of people who come across a handful of water and then dry up. So, you must know their value. You must know the value of these saintly people.

Do not be cheated by those people who nowadays have no murshid. In any case, it is clear who is the true murshid, who is the false one, who is shaytan’s friend and who is Allah’s friend. May Allah not part us from this path. May Allah guide those leaving this way. Let them come to this way, insha’Allah He sorts out their minds.

We are speaking about Awliya’Allah. One of their sifat, attributes, it is said, ‘murshid’, who gives irshad. Meaning who is showing you the right way. Who is showing you the right way, these people they are servants of Allah, Allah loves them. They are coming continuously from Prophet (sallAllahu alaihi wa sallam) because Allah sent Prophets and Companions and Awliya’Allah and real mashsha’ikh from Allah since the beginning, from Adam (as). And these people, what they want is only to take people to right way, to not let them go with shaytan, with satan.

These people, they are since Prophet (sallAllahu alaihi wa sallam) millions, because at any time we have 124.000 Awliya’Allah. Any minute when somebody passing, again another one coming behind him. So, since Prophet (sallAllahu alaihi wa sallam) there’s millions, they came and passed away. These people, who they are? How you can describe these people? Shaytan was loving them? No, shaytan was hating them and who hates these people and speaks against them are friends of shaytan, nobody else.

Billions of mu’mins and Muslims are coming through Prophet (sallAllahu alaihi wa sallam) until now, maybe more than billions, they came and passed away. The old ones loving them and they were showing people the right way. For this, shaytan was hating them and his followers also hating. Allah loves them, Prophet (sallAllahu alaihi wa sallam) also loves them. They are loved by Allah and by Prophet (sallAllahu alaihi wa sallam). And they are not saying anything for themselves (nothing matters to them) and they are not afraid from anything and they are not sorry for anything, for themselves.

They are only afraid from Allah, and if Allah is with them, they are happy and not sorry or anxious to be hungry or ill or anything else for themselves, no. They don’t care about themselves. Only they care for ummah, Prophet’s (saws) nation, to not let them to go the wrong way, behind shaytan and his followers. This makes them sad. Other things, no, nothing for themselves.

So they are not like what they, these mushriks say, no! Because they are not even wanting anything for themselves. Only for dua, they are making dua for Muslimeen, nation of Prophet (sallAllahu alaihi wa sallam). And how these people these days making bad advising and cheating people. “Who cheats us they are not from us,” said Prophet (sallAllahu alaihi wa sallam). So these people, they are cheating people and you cannot take advise from books or from these people who don’t have roots. Only they come like mushroom and they will go again.

So be very careful, these days this poison is around the world. Shaytan and his followers are trying to destroy the right way of Islam. Alhamdulillah, Allah is with us. We are not afraid because He Is Malik al-Mulk! He is the Owner of this whole universe. Nothing can be done without Him. Alhamdulillah, we are happy we are with Him, not against Him, not with shaytan. And we are advising our people who are away from this road to come to find a real murshid / guide, to keep away from shaytan and his followers and to save themselves for Akhira, for eternal life.

This life it is either, whatever happens it will be only short period and after, the real life, is forever. We will be insha’Allah, happy. Insha’Allah with Prophet (sallAllahu alaihi wa sallam), with Awliya’Allah, with beloved people for Allah in Jannah and with others insha’Allah.

Wa min Allahi t-Tawfiq Al Fatiha.

In the Middle of the Sea

Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim

Sultan ul-Awliya Mawlana Shaykh Muhammad Nazim Al-Haqqani An-Naqshibandi (qs), Sohbat, 13th July, Ramadan 2013.

Mawlana-Shaykh

As-Salam alaikum ayyuhal yaran. O yaran of Shah Mardan. Marhaba. Welome to you. You came with khair and may you find khair/goodness. May we find khair. Go ahead O Shah Mardan. Your yaran are your admirers. Ya Rabbi, You created us beautiful. Shukur to You our Mawla. He (swt) created Man the most beautiful in all creation. Our Allah, our Subhan, our Sultan. May our hearts open. May Shah Mardan send us power. Our assembly is a spiritual assembly. What is the title of a spiritual assembly? It is Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim – A spiritual assembly. Man has spirituality as well as, a body that belongs to dunya. “We should prefer the spiritual side” says Shah Mardan. The spiritual side- spiritual side is a pearl, is a diamond. What is outside of that assembly are the things that fill the toilets. The people…

Let Shah Mardan go ahead now & we slowly learn from him. Al ‘ilmu bi’t-ta’allum. Ta’allamu fa innal ‘ilma Nurun. Learn – learn knowledge that is Nur. Knowledge is Nur, gives Nur. Go ahead O Shah Mardan. What Allah Wills happens and what he doesn’t Will, doesn’t happen. Grant us power and make our assembly be spiritual, O Shah Mardan. We are not created for dunya. Here, this is the important point- We are not created for dunya. Go ahead O Shah Mardan, for Whom are we created? If we are created for dunya, we are animals. Animals have no honour. We are not created for dunya. We are created for our Lord- the Rabbu-l ‘Arshu-l Azim, the Subhan Allah. “Wa Ma Khalaqtu l-Jinna Wa l-‘Insa ‘illa Li ya’buduni”(51:56) Haqq SubhanaHu wa Ta’ala says. Here, Shah Mardan starts the dictation. What he means by ‘this dictation’ is, that he starts supporting, giving strength to our spiritualities. We are in need of this. Madad Ya RijalAllah.

We are not created for dunya. It is a wrong idea; it is a thought that is not true. Man is not created for dunya. (Mawlana sings) “Al-Khaliqu l-Yazdan created you – The Mighty Creator, Al-Khaliqul Jabbar, created you for service in khilqat. Man is created for service. Rabbu-l Izzat dresses a new rank for each service. Here, Shah Mardan Hz informs us of what Man is created for. If our mission is to eat and drink… O Shah Mardan, go ahead. The disciples of the Prophet Jesus said: “May a table from Heavens come down for us”. All their concern and thoughts were after the table. “Do you have no faith? He said. But let me see it that my heart may be at rest”(2:260) Look, these are the disciples of Prophet Jesus. What did they ask for? “May a table come down for us”. The table you asked for from Heavens does not come down from Heavens. It is on earth.

What do you seek from the Malakut/Heavens? You asked for a table, which offers eating and drinking to satisfy your animal being. Shame on you. What are we? You should be aware of what you ask. You should be aware of what you are also. Only animals are just concerned with eating and drinking. Eating & drinking is not the honour of al-insan al-kamil (the perfect man). Al-insan al-kamil’s whole concern is not about eating, drinking or dressing up. Al-insan al-kamil. “Wa Ma Khalaqtu l-Jinna Wa l-‘Insa ‘Illa Liya’buduni”(51:56). “Liya’buduni”. Allahu Akbarul Akbar. You are Subhan. “(I created Men and Jinn so that) they acknowledge Me, they know Me, they tasdiq/affirm My Sultanate and perform service in My Sultanate- they attain to the honour of serving in My Sultanate; they serve Me. I didn’t create them for serving this dunya”. Amantu BiLlah. Go ahead O Shah Mardan. Allah did not create us from the category of those who have no concern other than eating & drinking. Allah Allah.

There are all these creatures – their only concern is eating & drinking. (Mawlana sings) “Al- Khaliqu-l Yazdan created you for service”. Shame on us! Janab-i Mawla, Khaliqu-l Yazdan created you for..” says Shah Mardan who speaks from Heavenly knowledge – (Mawlana sings) “Al-Khaliqu-l Yazdan created you for service”. Our minds are corrupted from the beginning, Shaykh Mehmet Effendi. He (swt) created you for service. Allahu Dhu-l Jalal, Who is the Absolute Owner of the everlasting, never-ending Sultanate, created you for service. Allahu Akbar. What a great honour! The way Prophets show people to follow, S.Mehmet Effendi, is the way of service. If the Prophet, alayhi Salatu was-Salam, was concerned about his belly, he could have set tables, eaten & then got busy with tables again. But that was not his concern. Huuu. (M.sings) “He created you for service”. This is the voice of Malakut (Heavens).

Go ahead O Shah Mardan. He (swt) created you for service. For which service? Did He create you to build houses, to build villages, to enjoy dunya? O shameless, no mind, no understanding people! Shame on the people, to what do they attribute the wisdom of their creation? To eating and drinking. And in the end, to the toilet – to fill the toilet. Allah SubhanaHu wa Ta’ala made you responsible for the highest service. Go ahead O Shah Mardan. “He created you for service”. Service. Service for whom? Service for whom? Not for the service of little kids or animals. But for Al-Khaliqu-l Yazdan, for the One Allah, Shah Mardan says repeatedly. That Shah Mardan who is the Shah of Oceans says repeatedly – “Your service is not for dunya”. Your service is – Al-Khaliqu l-Yazdan Allahu Dhu-l Jalal created you for service”. He (swt) appointed us for His Own service. Astonishing. And what are we doing? We do the service of the donkey or horse we ride – Let us eat the best, dress the best, go to the best places. Man is not created for this.

Go ahead O Shah Mardan. “Khaliqu-l Yazdan created you for service”. Allahu Akbar Allahu Akbar Allahu Akbar wa Lillahi-l Hamd. Say this and see how your life changes – experience the taste and honour. O ignorant Man! “‘Innahu Kana Zalumaan Jahulaan”(33:72). Is it like this? Man is jahul and zalim at the same time. Zalum meaning very unjust, Jahul meaning very ignorant. Do we have a school to teach us, to speak to us about Rabbu-l Izzat, or about how we should serve, or about Whom we should serve? “Well, we have physical education, sports classes for the children”. What benefit does it give? Half of the people on earth became crazy for the ball (games). May the ball remove the ones with this mentality. The whole world stands and people fight each other for a ball game. Well, putting what we call a ball, in the shape of a sphere in a field – putting a football and applying all our power, all our thoughts, all our life, all our mission to it- what kind of a thing is this? “‘Innahu Kana Zalumaan Jahulaan”. Men are oppressors and very ignorant at the same time. The whole world rises for the news. Of what? This sports club had a striking victory against the other. What is its benefit? What did you gain? What did you learn? What did you do?

Everything that belongs to dunya is filthy to the extent that you can’t even look at it. Approach the assembly of Shah Mardan, O yaran of Shah Mardan- O holy one, O who seek the way to the assembly of the holy ones. Look for it. This dunya is not created for playing ball, for the people to enjoy, or to eat & drink. Change your way of thinking. Tawba Ya Rabbi. Khaliqu-l Yazdan created you for service. Allahu Dhu-l Jalal created you for service. What else do you serve? Football! This club, that… The huge city of Istanbul rises up with this. Your minds are not even as big as a bird. A bird at least flies by itself and goes around. What about you? “And we are running after football” they say. You, who are the most honoured creature, is your job playing football? Shaytan made the world go crazy with football. It did that and then set the people against each other with the assertion – “You are ahead & I am behind?” They don’t accept.

Astaizu BiLlah, what did Pharaoh say to the Prophet Moses? Shaykh Mehmet Effendi, pay attention to this Holy Verse. “‘In Turidu ‘illa ‘An Takuna Jabbaran Fi l-‘Ardi Wa Ma Turidu” Ya Musa.(28:19) You want to be a jabbar/tyrant on earth? Look at this Holy Verse, the claim of tyranny. There is the dirty ego in people, where does it drive us to? Pharaoh describes it- Ya Musa, you want to be a tyrant on earth – “‘In Turidu ‘Illa ‘An Takuna Jabbaran Fil-‘Ardi”. What it means with jabbar, Shaykh Mehmet Effendi, is the person who has power over everyone. Pharaoh – his attribute was that, there should be no one like him. They play ball & claim “We should be the first”. They play other games and say “We should be number one”. It is not suitable for mankind to play ball. “‘In Turidu ‘Illa ‘An Takuna Jabbaran”. O Moses, do you want to be a tyrant, like Pharaoh claims to be a tyrant? “‘In Turidu ‘Illa ‘An Takuna Jabbaran Fil- ‘Ardi”. It says “Your claim is…” It also means dictatorship.

“‘In Turidu ‘Illa ‘An Takuna Jabbaran”. If your (Musa) claim is to rule the world, I had this claim before you” Pharaoh says. He thought Prophet Musa’s invitation was the same as his invitation. He, himself, said “I am Pharaoh. You should worship me. I am the Jabbar. I can burn, destroy”. You can burn, destroy and then you cry in the middle of the sea: Amantu bi Rabbi Bani Israil. In the end you say, “I also believe in the God of Israil”. There are many like this. All the claims are about this, Shaykh Mehmet. Pharaoh says to Prophet Moses, “‘In Turidu ‘Illa ‘An Takuna Jabbaran Fi l-‘Ardi”. He means “You want to rule the earth like me?”. Allah Allah. To where does Man’s dirty ego drive him? The helper of the dirty ego is shaytan. It mounted the necks of the people and people say “I am. I am. There can’t be anyone above me”.

The “potin” (shoe in Turkish) who is called Putin says “I am the best Potin”. The man in America, originally African, who can’t even handle small things, says: “You can’t do anything! I have all the power in my hand”. What is the benefit? Why do you keep that power in your hand? Do you mean to make dunya better or to destroy the people? Why do you hold it? These people are Allah’s creation. Their hands are tied- they are madhlum / oppressed people. They only think about their food. You captured these people and drove them into the fire of war. For what? “I am the number one”. And Potin says “No, I am”. “‘In Turidu ‘Illa ‘An Takuna Jabbaran Fi l-‘Ardi”. Pharaoh’s address to Prophet Moses: “Do you want to be a tyrant?” The characteristic of today’s people is tyranny. He(swt) didn’t create us to be tyrants.

Come to your senses. “‘In Turidu ‘Illa ‘An Takuna Jabbaran Fi l-‘Ardi”. “I may rule every part of the earth and do as I like. This is what I want”. That attribute belongs to Allah Almighty, not to you! But Prophet Moses was told this. Pharaoh thinks that Prophet Moses is also after dunya, in the dunya hunt like himself. “‘In Turidu ‘Illa ‘An Takuna Jabbaran Fi l-‘Ardi”. People have become ignorant, they have become ignorant. “‘In Turidu ‘Illa ‘An Takuna Jabbaran Fi l-‘Ardi”. “You want to be a tyrant who rules the earth Ya Musa?” says Pharaoh to Sayyidina Musa. Hasha, thumma kalla. His (S.Musa) way is the way of Allah. What is the way of the Bani Israil now, still? Their way is tyranny. They are a small country like this but they say “I can rule over the whole world”. Of what value is the dunya you want to rule? Take dunya & put it on your head. Other nations follow them too whether they like it or not. One man appears, they call him “dictator”. What is his profession? Democracy. He cheats the people with democracy and succeeds in his tyranny this way. All the world’s people are like this.

“‘In Turidu ‘Illa ‘An Takuna Jabbaran Fi l-‘Ardi”. “O Moses, do you want to be ruler on earth under one dictatorship?” Pharaoh says this. Well, it is Pharaoh’s own profession. But Prophet Moses’ profession is not this. Prophet Moses is for collecting people in the Presence of Allah and making his nation gain honour in Allah Almighty’s service. But they ran away from it. They said “No, we can’t follow Moses”. “Who do you follow?” Al ‘ijl, the calf, (2:51)- this is the mentality of Bani Israil. They say “Al ‘ijl”, “we have a calf made from gold and we want this”. What does it tell you? Moooo! Look at the mentality of Bani Israil. They preferred it and what did it say? Moooo. They call out, saying “We have a calf of gold”. Shaytan goes on your golden calf 1000x a day & makes you eat it. Tawba AstaghfiruLlah. Come to the right way! Keep your honour.

Man’s honour is in serving His Lord. O our Lord, may You accept us. It is Ramadan Sharif. It is Ramadan Sharif. It is the holy month in which the Quran Azimu sh-Shan descended. It came to bring us honour, to dress us with honour. We should show respect for it. “We do”. “How?” “Here, we set iftar tables”. And then you attack the tables like hungry wolves to eat. Where are the advices of the Prophet (sallAllahu alaihi wa sallam)? Where is the understanding level of today’s people? They can’t say. Go ahead O Shah Mardan & say. He says “I may say but then many heads will be taken”. Many heads will be taken. The heads of those who leave the service of their Lord will be taken. Then shaytan will turn to them & laugh, “This is where I brought you.” O our Lord. May You protect us from being tyrants. Our dirty ego is after the claim of tyranny, meaning it’s after the claim of Pharaoh- This party, that sect… “We are better”. The other say “No, we are better”. All of them are “‘In Turidu ‘Illa ‘An Takuna Jabbaran Fi l-‘Ardi”. Read the holy Quran, O our Hojas! Allah Allah. Allah Allah. Allahu Akbar Allahu Akbar Allahu Akbar wa Lillahi-l Hamd.

May You accept us for Your servanthood Ya Rabbi. Go ahead O Shah Mardan. Your yaran are in need of your teaching. Ya Mardan, you are Shah Mardan. May the holy ones come who will teach us. May the troops who will raise the flags of Islam come. May the lions come. May the lions come who will throw dunya like a ball under their feet. Allahu Akbarul Akbar. Allahu Akbarul Akbar. La ilaha illa Allahu W’Allahu Akbar. Allahu Akbar wa LiLlahi-l Hamd. May our inside be filled with iman, O Lord. Go ahead O Shah Mardan. Your yaran are your admirers. They say “we want a flag so that we can show the whole world, Who is its Owner. What is our job? Its Owner is Allah and we are His servants. There is no one but Him”.

Tawfiq/success is from Allah Almighty. O our Lord, may You grant us power in this holy month. We don’t want the power of eating & drinking. We want spiritual power. Go ahead O Shah Mardan. Your yaran are your admirers. Let us say Bismillahi r-Rahman, Bismillahi r- Rahmani r-Rahim. May it open, may we gain strength. May our majesty increase. May our lives be spent in Your way, O our Lord. You are Subhan, You are Sultan. May You accept our servanthood for the honour of holy Ramadan.

Fatiha.

Where Is Our Grave?

According To What You Ask For

The following is an excerpt from the sohbat, ‘According To What You Ask For’ by Sultan ul-Awliya Mawlana Shaykh Muhammad Nazim Al-Haqqani An-Naqshibandi (Qs).

Sultan ul-Awliya Mawlana Shaykh

Man will really be condemned to suffer the punishment of his heedlessness as long as he is heedless.

Without a doubt, after so many years passing, of course the condition of Muslims has become that of those who are sunk in heedlessness. Man will really be condemned to suffer the punishment of his heedlessness as long as he is heedless. Meaning, the excuse saying, “We were heedless,” will not be accepted for someone who reaches the Divine Presence. Why did you not open your eyes? Did I leave you blind when We gave you the light of faith? Blind is the one who has no light of faith. So that, asta’idhu billah, “Waman kana fee hathihi a’ma fahuwa fil akhirati a’ma” (17:72) says Allah Almighty. He who is blind in this world will be blind in the next world too. This does not mean someone who is blind in his (physical) eyes, will stay blind just as he was blind in this world. Hasha. Maybe Allah Almighty says, He says He will award and grant mercy that He does not show to other servants, to those He has deprived from the light of the two eyes. And He will open their eyes to watch His Beauty, with a first view that is special for them.

All right, but what is the intention there? So that in this world, but also in the hereafter. But its meaning is that the one who has left the heart’s eye in the world, someone who has not opened the heart’s eye with the light of faith. That one he comes like that at Resurrection “Did I not give you the light of faith? Why were you heedless when you were in the world? Why did you not open your eyes? Why are you saying, “I was really heedless”? When I gave you the light of faith. The ones I did not give are different, I gave to you. Why did you become really heedless?” Because 1407 years have passed since, people are tired of moving from taqlid (imitation) to tahqiq (investigation), to haqiqat (truth). And they left that way. Even though Allah Almighty’s order is not to get stuck in imitation, to try and reach truth. Yes.

The Prophet, alaihi s-salatu wa s-salam, said, “If a person does not know himself, he does not know his Lord.”

Why did we come to the world? If it is to eat, drink, and multiply, then animals are also doing it. They don’t do anything else. If you spend your time doing that, you should know your level, your place then. Your place is also that. On the Day of Judgement they will say, “Take this one to the barn too.” Is it not so? This one did not do anything else. This one has no place on this side. Tie them up and pull them to the barn. Meaning – “if this is the aim behind the earthly life in this world what was the use of the mind We gave you? So you never used your mind.” And Allah Almighty says He honored you by clothing you in one of His attributes. And we made you mukarram, We were overly generous with you. So you made Our generosity like dirt. You made it nothing, then your place is the barn. They will say, “Pull, tie, pull that one.” His human form will also be removed. Whichever animal that one represents, every human’s ego represents an animal, that animal’s attribute will overcome and will appear in that form. They will be tied and pulled. He takes them there.

Allah Almighty sent Prophets to teach people human perfection. So that they may know their place. “O Mankind, there are so many of My creatures in this world who are living with you. You could not distinguish your place from amongst other creatures? Then be resurrected along with them.” He will collect them there. The ones who come to this world and do not know the reality of this world is heedless. A human who does not know himself is ignorant. The one who is not aware of his place in this world is both heedless and ignorant. You have to know your place. So there, the human who does not look at reality and does not know truth cannot determine his own place either. When does he determine his own place? When he knows truth. Yes. People do everything, run around everywhere. Everything that takes place around them concerns them and by collecting information about everything they are concerned with and trying to make use of everything, they are trying to satisfy their own egos. Man will not be able to find truth if he does not leave what is around him and turn back to himself. Well, when we are always concerned with what is outside we lose turning inward, staying by ourselves, and knowing ourselves. The Prophet, alaihi s-salatu wa s-salam, said, “If a person does not know himself, he does not know his Lord.” The way to know Allah Almighty goes through you. As long as you know yourself you will find the way to know Allah Almighty. Otherwise, it is impossible for a man who does not know himself to know the One who created him.

Allah Almighty does not withhold but he observes your sincerity and Ikhlas.

As you see, the Seal of prophets, our Master, alaihi s-salatu wa s-salam, came with the fullest marifat (enlightenment) with his perfection, our Master brought what was given by Allah Almighty to His servants regarding Allah’s marifat/ spiritual knowledge. And according to what you ask, you are given from that perfection. Now, there are motors that run putt-putt-putt-putt. Petrol as little as my beard hair is enough for its motor. It will make it run. But there are huge vehicles with 18, 28, and 40 wheels. This little bit (of petrol) will not affect it in any way. You have to open for it like you open the kitchen faucet at home, so it runs. You are given according to your size. From the Prophet, alaihi s-salatus-salam, there is a source perfection enough to feed all his ummat (nation) from his heart – S.Muhammad’s heart to the awliya.

There is a large center, the main center for electricity. Then there are transformer stations in every area. They are filled from the main center. From there the power is distributed to light that neighborhood, to serve that neighborhood. But there are reservoirs to store the force given from him too. Now, from the Prophet’s, alaihi s-salatu wa s-salam, pure heart, S. Muhammad’s pure heart, the inayat (care) for the awliya is stored there – from Allah Almighty to S. Muhammad’s pure heart. Then it is transferred to the hearts of awliya, from East to West in every century. They open to the ones who ask according to their request and according to their need. He sends that power source to them. It is given according to their request. More than the request is not given. However much you want, no limits. There is no limit to a servant’s request. There is no limit to Allah Almighty’s giving.

There is no end to Allah Almighty’s treasures. The person who says, “I asked but did not receive,” lies. Allah Almighty did not find in you sincerity, did not find in you Ikhlas, so He did not give you. That is the wisdom behind His denial. You will not be able to be a possessor because you will not know its value. You do not have sincere trueness and perfection. Therefore, He is not giving it to you. The wisdom behind it: even though a small child shouts and cries for the valuable ring on her mother’s hand, or the gem on her neck, should the mother give it to the little girl? She is an idiot if she does. The child wants it but she (Mother) does not give even though she wants. So, what if she gives it. Would her mother withhold it from her? She (the child) would not keep it, she will not be able to hold it. If she gives her a red candy, she will take it off her neck. Even if it is the world’s most valuable jewel, in that child’s sight red candy is more valuable than red ruby. Ruby does not taste good in the mouth, but with candy she is relaxed. You are like that as well.

Like this, Allah Almighty does not withhold but he observes your sincerity and Ikhlas. He gives it to the one who can take care of it. Why would He give if one cannot take care? In that case He starts unveiling those treasures veil by veil, when there are seven breaths left before the last breath. When will it be entrusted to you? When there are seven breaths left before a person leaves the world. Haji Ali Efendi, if you bring the world’s most beautiful girl or woman and sit her there (next to the dying), is there any movement? Any movement? Is there? The end.

Now there is trust in that man.
