Allah created everything Beautiful. Ugliness is from shaytan. The door of the market of Beauty opens with the Basmala. So say it and be happy. He has given us everything how can we be sad? Ask for this and whatever you ask for there is so much more!

Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim
And There Is More With Us (50:35)
Sultan ul-Awliya Mawlana Shaykh Muhammad Nazim Al-Haqqani An-Naqshibandi ق
Sohbat of the 21st of September, 2013 – Dhu l-Qi’dah
O yaran of Shahi Mardan. Come in. Those who call to you may never be despised. Let us get busy with our work. Go ahead O Shahi Mardan, your yaran admire you. Madad, O Rijal Allah. Madad, O Sahibu-z Zaman. Madad, O Shahi Mardan. Allahu Allah. Shukur Allah Almighty – shukur/thanks to our Lord Who created us, Who provides us with His blessings. You made us beautiful, our Lord. You did not create anything ugly. Dastur and madad, O Shahi Mardan. Rabbu-l Izzat/Lord of Majesty did not create anything ugly. Hasha/far be it from Allah Almighty to create something ugly. Madad O Rijal Allah. Dastur O Shahi Mardan. Let us listen – your yaran admire you – and take from your beautiful wisdoms, from your beautiful adabs and be beautiful, may we not be ugly.
Allah Almighty Jalla wa ‘Ala did not create ugly. “Khalaqna l-‘Insana Fi ‘Ahsani Taqwim” (95:4)- (He created us in) “the most beautiful form”. Can there be ugliness in Allah’s creation? Being ugly, ugliness comes to Man from shaytan. Rabbu-l Izzat, Allah Almighty does not and did not create ugly. Go ahead O Shahi Mardan. May our day be joyous. This is what we call it an introduction- a few words that are from Shahi Mardan; that take from His Heavenly grants and that come to us from Shahi Mardan.
Let us say, Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. What makes every ugly thing beautiful, is Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. O Lord! It is what makes every ugly thing beautiful. There is nothing ugly in what Allah created. Ugliness comes from shaytan. Ugliness does not come from the Lord of Majesty. Troubles do not come from Him, sorrows & hardship do not come from Him. “Khalaqna l-‘Insana Fi ‘Ahsani Taqwim” (95:4). Go ahead O Shahi Mardan, your yaran admire you. We ask for it – we ask from the beauties. Ask for beauty, be beautiful. There is the bazaar of beauty, there is the market of beauty. What does the door of the market of beauty open with? It opens with Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. This is the door of the market of beauty – say Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim that the doors of beauty might open. The beauty of being happy & joyful may reach you, and you become joyful. You want to be in joy? Say Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. O our Lord!
May You make Your tawfiq/success our companion that, whoever sees what we do may say “Affarin/well-done”.
You are Who created us, You created us beautiful. May You make Your tawfiq/success our companion that, whoever sees what we do may say “Affarin/well-done”. Put your effort, so that you are told “well-done” for the work you did. Go ahead O Shahi Mardan, your yaran admire you. Work in such a way that people may tell you “well-done”, and you shine. You may have no troubles left. You may have no hardship left. Your life may be joyful. Go ahead O Shahi Mardan. May our lives be joyful, be in joy. Who created us created beautiful, so why should we be sad? What is imperfect in what Allah Almighty granted us, that we don’t thank Him? Tawba Ya Rabbi. Go ahead O Shahi Mardan, go ahead. What did the One who created you leave missing in you that you’re not thankful? Shukur O our Lord, You created us beautiful. You blessed us with Your most beautiful grants – You dressed us with the rank of Islam, You made our names written with the names of the people of Paradise. O our Lord! Thanks to You, all Praise be to You.
It should be the grants of Allah Almighty that you desire greedily. You should have no greed left for anything else.
May our strength increase, O Shahi Mardan. Who is with Shahi Mardan is never weak but he will be strong. He will never be despised but he will be honoured. He is never greedy – his greed is only for akhirah. It should be the grants of Allah Almighty that you desire greedily. You should have no greed left for anything else. Go ahead O Shahi Mardan. How beautiful are your words. O Shahi Mardan, the lion of Allah, go ahead. Let us say a few words, so that our hearts may open and we be in joy, we be in happiness. Allah Almighty does not like His servant to be sad. No. Even the parents of a child say, “why is he sad? What is wrong with this child that he is not happy & smiling?” The parents do not want their children to be sad. “What is wrong with that child?” they say. Allahu Dhu-l Jalal created us and He doesn’t like us to be sad. “What is wrong with this servant of Mine?” He says. He, Himself knows about it but He wants to inform us of it: “What is wrong with this servant of Mine? What did I not grant Him that he is sad?” Allahu Akbar! O our Lord, forgive us!
Wa Ladayna Mazeed. (And there is more with Us.) (50:35)
Go ahead O Shahi Mardan? “What do you want, O My servant?” asks Allah Almighty. “I need You, only You O our Lord” Yunus (Emre) would say. What should I ask for? He can’t say, “I need You”- can man not say “We want You, O Lord, only You. You created us, immersed us in Your blessings. I need You, only You” would say Yunus. What is there to ask for in dunya? May the Nur of faith shine on your face. May your face & eyes be opened. Say “All Praise be to my Lord that He created me”. Make sajda, make ruku. Praise Him, and say Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. Go ahead O Shahi Mardan. This is a sohbat according to our level. Your level increases? Then your love increases. After your level increases, your nearness increases and you want to get nearer. You want more love, more love. Hal min mazeed- (50:30) (Is there any more?) “We want more, O our Lord”.
Go ahead O Shahi Mardan. May you teach us what we want. Man wants to be close to the Sultan. Well, when you have the chance to be close to the Sultan why should you lose that chance? Go ahead O Shahi Mardan. May your words be the Heavenly decree for your yaran. Allah Allah, the Heavenly Decree. “Have muhabba for Me, love Me, respect Me, O My servants.” says the Sultan. Acknowledge the Sultan. Go ahead O Shahi Mardan. Your yaran admire you. How beautiful, how beautiful. What beauties are there, what beauties did Allah Almighty create. “I made so much ready for My servants”. Wa Ladayna Mazeed. (And there is more with Us.) (50:35) Is it not like this? “What you ask is nothing. Beyond it, there is so much, much more for you from Our Dhat-i Uluhiyya (Divine Essence). Acknowledge Me. There is so much more in My Presence. I grant little by little, you can’t tolerate too much of it”.
Go ahead O Shahi Mardan. The sweetness, the beauty, the pleasantness in Your Remembrance cannot be found in anything else. Say “Allah” and don’t fear. Who don’t say it will be destroyed. May you have no doubt about that. We are weak. We ask for a decree that will take away the weakness on us. Shahi Mardan says that if you want something that will take away the weakness, or something that will take away the ugliness, if you say “ugly”, say Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. “Innahu min Sulaymana wa innahu Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim.” (27:30). Say this. Wa ladayna mazeed. For the blessings, for the honour in our Presence – the decree which is for you – Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim is presented to you. Take it and march, don’t fear. Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim.
And in akhirah also, all their desire is “Ilahi Anta Maqsudi”.
Once upon a time… In the old times people would travel by ships on the sea, they would carry passengers. In one of the passenger ships, a cry was heard. They asked “What is it?” “The very precious jewel of the Sultan’s wife is lost”. They said “it got lost”, didn’t say “it is stolen”. “Then search everyone, let’s see who has it”. They searched everyone to see who has this precious jewel. Finally, on that ship a dervish was sitting in a place, in a corner. They said “Look, we will search you. We searched everyone but could not find the Sultan’s jewel. We will search you also”. That poor one heard this and immediately he stepped onto the sea, saying Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. He started walking on the sea. People regretted at that time. These are the special servants of Allah Almighty. They don’t have any greed/tamah for dunya. And in akhirah also, all their desire is “Ilahi Anta Maqsudi”. They say “O our Lord, we want You”. He started to walk on the sea saying Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim.
It is the Bismillah. Know it. All doors open. All beauties are dressed on you. All treasures open for you. But they are not after the treasures. They are – Ilahi Anta Maqsudi. “O our Lord, we want You. We don’t want anything else other than You” Can a person say this? If he can’t say it, he is far from it – he is far away from his ranks, very far away from the rank that is dressed on Man. He says, “A man who can’t say Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim, is so far away from being the Man who is dressed with the dress of honour”.
Adab raises the level of man. It increases his nearness – his nearness to Allah Almighty.
O our Lord, forgive us. We are weak. For this, O Shahi Mardan your yaran admire you. What we want is to be with you. You preferred the servanthood of your Lord, you chose it. Nothing else satisfied you, only the Love of his Lord did. We would desire this, not the goods of dunya. Leave dunya. Hold on to the Love of Allah Almighty, seek this. Say “Ilahi Anta Maqsudi”. (Allah You Suffice us). Don’t be like the jackal that runs after the carcass of dunya. Go ahead O Shahi Mardan. How beautiful are your words. O yaran of Shahi Mardan. He is teaching adab. Adab raises the level of man. It increases his nearness – his nearness to Allah Almighty. Adab. “I sought in the assembly of the knowledgeable ones and saw that knowledge comes the last. Only adab, only adab”.
Masha Allah, O Shahi Mardan. How beautifully did you speak. You stated the words of wisdom. Most of the people cannot leave the attribute of animals. Leave the animal attribute. Animals, jackals go after their kill, go after the carcass. Leave that. You try to be after the Sultan. Allahu Allah Allahu Rabbi. Allahu Allah ma li siwahu. O Allah, may You grant us this joy. O Shahi Mardan. May we be joyous, may we be joyous with our Lord. Let us say “Allah”. Let us say “Allah”.
Fatiha.
