Shāh-i Naqshband ق

بِسۡمِ اللهِ الرَّحۡمٰنِ الرَّحِيۡمِ

The Imam of the Naqshbandi Tariqah Mawlana Shaykh Bahauddin Naqshbandi Muhammad Al-Uwaysi Al-Bukhari (ق) was born on the 14th of Muharram.

Without Shāh-i Naqshband (ق) there would not be the highest ṭarīqah of them all, the ṭarīqah of the kings and ṣulṭāns. Awliyā’ like him are transmitters of divine blessing. Being in their presence, whether dead or alive, brings benefit.

Sultan ul-Awliya Mawlana Shaykh Muhammad Nazim Al-Haqqani An-Naqshibandi (ق)

 Ṭarīqatuna ṣ-ṣuḥbah wa l-khayru fi jam‘iyya.

It’s been hundreds of years or 1000 years that it is coming from Shāh-i Naqshband. There are millions of Naqshbandis. Thousands of people passed through it – Ṣulṭāns, Kings, Emperors, Pashas. They were rulers in this world. They reached the sultanate of the world. They were important people among the people of the world. Big countries were under their command. Treasures were for them. They had treasures, palaces, properties. Nothing gave benefit to them. Living in palaces, having treasures and properties didn’t bring benefit to them. When they possessed power and authority, if they gave from what was given to them, only then that wealth and property could bring benefit in ākhirah. If they didn’t use the power and wealth for good deeds, they’ll went empty handed to ākhirah. They’ll leave it all behind. They won’t take anything with them. With all the things they had, sulṭāns, kings, emperors, shāhs, sirs and pashas passed by. Where are their graves? Which grave, which country? They are forgotten, finished.

His physicality can’t be seen by people but he is alive with his spirituality – he is with us.

But Shāh-i Naqshband Hz. is being remembered day and night. From the nation of Muḥammad (ﷺ) thousands of good deeds are sent to him. His name is mentioned. It is fresh, his name isn’t outdated. Nobody says “we are tired of this”. On the contrary, they have sadness in their hearts because they couldn’t reach him. Saying “We wish we had seen him.” His name remains. His physical body passed away from this world. His physicality can’t be seen by people but he is alive with his spirituality – he is with us. Of course they are the inheritors of the Prophet. Our master’s, ‘alayhi ṣ-ṣalātu wa s-salām, inheritors. Now they are present among the ummah. Their presence is sending down blessings upon the ummah. Their presence either when they are alive or after passing by, in their graves or in their tombs, is a reason for that blessing to continue. Because when Allāh Almighty loves a servant and favors him, blessing descends on him continuously. When he leaves this world, blessings descend on his grave. That’s why old people used to ask to be buried where there was a companion, one of great Mashāyikh, a saint’s grave. Why? The blessing descending on them, comes on others too.

Read 3 Ikhlāṣ, 1 Fātiḥah for our Prophet to Shāh-i Naqshband Hz and our shaykh Sulṭānu l-Awliyā’.

Shāh-i Naqshband Hz, may Allāh sanctify his secret, and his support is here with us. Read 3 Ikhlāṣ, 1 Fātiḥah for our Prophet to Shāh-i Naqshband Hz and our shaykh Sulṭānu l-Awliyā’. Ask for support. Ask for support. If you are sentient you feel the support coming. You feel the support coming and suddenly your state changes. Whoever is asking for support may apply like this. They’ll get a reply. Because awliyā’ are shepherds. The shepherd knows the sheep, goats, lambs one by one. He knows his flock. He knows also when they mix with other flocks. Awliyā’ like him they know whoever from the ummah that has been given to them. How many million or billion ummah will come.

Whatever problem the ummah has, those awliyā’ take that burden.

Our master, ‘alayhi ṣ-ṣalātu wa s-salām, asked for divine help and favor from Allāh Almighty; “when billions of ummah come give me helpers” said Rasūl ṣalláLlāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam. Allāh Almighty gave him helpers and assistants. They are present in every age. They are present in this time also. They are all present but they don’t show themselves because they aren’t sought. They go around like ordinary people. They go around freely because nobody looks for them. If somebody looks for them their dealing with them is different. They contribute to the transmitting of divine help to people. If there is no pipe, how can the water from snowy mountains reach us? From where? Without a pipe, it will stay where it is. That’s why the great ones, of course according to their greatness, they carry burdens. You and me can’t carry. To distribute the burden of the whole ummah, he has to have heavenly power to make it possible. Whatever problem the ummah has, those awliyā’ take that burden. And they look at the ummah with the spiritual power that’s been given to them.

When Shāh-i Naqshband’s name is mentioned he either looks at us from his station or is present in the assembly with his spiritual power. What is the power when he is present in the assembly with his spiritual power? What is the difference when he looks from his station? When he looks from his station, the sins of the people in the assembly fall away. He doesn’t leave any deeds that carry responsibility on the Day of Judgment. He cleans. No, if he sends his spirituality and is present in the assembly, even if they are munāfiq (hypocrites), they turn to īmān (faith) in the end. Allāh’s beloved servants are such that if you sit with them, you won’t be unfortunate. It means you won’t be from the people of hell. That is their miracle. If you are with the great ones, you will pass away from this world with their mercy and intercession. You will be together with these people in their maqāms (stations).

Great mashāyikh have such ranks among the nation. They are authorised to take care of them, to guide them, to make them forgiven.

Mawlana Sheikh Nazim (QS)

Shāh-i Naqshband Hz. also had such high and noble qualities. Allāh made him the founder of the Naqshbandi ṭarīqah. The founder of the Naqshbandi ṭarīqah means – without him, the Naqshbandi ṭarīqah wouldn’t exist. Like the pole of a tent. When you take out the center pole, it collapses, there is no tent. Great mashāyikh have such ranks among the nation. They are authorised to take care of them, to guide them, to make them forgiven. Slowly, that movement started to appear. We hope that Ṭarīqatu l-‘aliyya, which takes the name Naqshbandi founded by Shāh-i Naqshband, serves the nation of Muḥammad (ﷺ). They throw away the darkness in their hearts and raise their ranks.

Allāh Allāh, Allāh Allāh Allāh Allāh, ‘Azīz Allāh. Allāh Allāh, Allāh Allāh Allāh Allāh, Karīm Allāh. Allāh Allāh, Allāh Allāh Allāh Allāh, Ṣubḥān Allāh. Allāh Allāh, Allāh Allāh Allāh Allāh, Ṣulṭān Allāh. You are the Ṣulṭān. Protect us. Support us so that we destroy kufr (unbelief). We destroy the sultanate of the Wahhābī. Assign the ones, that you are pleased with O Lord!
