May Allah (JJ) make your Raghaib Night celebration blessed (mubarak), and may our days also be beautiful Inshallah. Today is a holy day. It is the first holy night of the month of Rajab, the Night of Raghaib. Allah gives whatever good things wished for in this night. That is what is called Raghaib (Wishes). Raghaib is the plural of raghbat (a wish).
Allah (JJ) gives from His own treasures to Muslims, to those who believe in this night, and to people who respect and show regard to nights He considers sacred and holy. He gives both its blessings (baraka) and its rewards and good deeds. It is good to liven this holy night. When saying to liven, you can stay standing until morning too. But if you lay down after Isha and wake up for Tahajjud, you will have livened the night the same way. You will have done Ihya ul-Layl (Livening the night). Because when you lay down and get up again, since you laid with the intention to worship Allah, Allah counts it as if you had livened the whole night and spent it without sleeping. This is also from Allah’s generosity and Allah’s mercy. It shows the ease of Islam to Muslims. But Shaitan does not show that, he shows the opposite. Shaitan shows it as difficult, when in fact it is not.
Allah Azza wa Jalla gives everybody according to their strength. He is the Creator. He gave orders according to what and how much people can handle. Of course, there is the obligatory (fard), there is the traditional (sunna), and there is the recommended (mustahab). It is alright to do whichever one. You might say, “This is all I can do,” and that is alright. If you do more, Allah will not tell you not to. Do as much as you want to do. Allah’s treasures do not deplete, they do not exhaust. Allah gives. And Allah chose these nights as a treat. These are beautiful and holy nights. There is a secret and gifts in all of them. May Allah make it blessed.
We have made intention to fast today anyway. Fasting on Mondays and Thursdays is a good tradition of the Three Months. Many people are doing it. It is also more blessed due to the special night. Allah knows how much He will give of its rewards. Read the Koran in this night and pray any missed prayers. The Tasbih Prayer is done at night. There is already zikir and Khatm Khwajagan tonight so our good deeds increase. We are also making zikir of Allah and glorifying Allah in them. Make Salawat, say a lot of “La Ilaha Illallah”, read the Koran, and read many Yasin. There is no special duty for today, but people should do as much as possible from what we mentioned. If they cannot do, they can do a hundred Ikhlas, a thousand Ikhlas, or however much they can do. They can do whatever they feel like Inshallah.
May Allah grant us whatever is good. May our good wishes come true and evils go away Inshallah. May Allah make us reach many more years Inshallah. Inshallah, may we also reach Mahdi Alayhis Salam quickly. May the Nation of Muhammad (Ummat Muhammad) reach relief Inshallah.
Bi hurmat al-Fatiha.
