Sohbat of the 3rd of February, 2014

Salamun qawlan min Rabbin Rahim. Salamun qawlan min Rabbin Rahim.(36:58) “A word of peace from a generous Lord”. May our day be favorable and may our work be favorable. May Allah make us succeed in works that will make Allah and Rasulullah happy. May the seas not swallow us, may the earth not crush us. May we be servants to our Lord. May our end be happy. May our children be among the righteous. O Lord, make us among the servants of Paradise. For the blessings of our Ummuhan Sultan. Fatiha.

HF: Amin. Allah razi olsun.

May Allah be happy with us.

HF: May Allah give you a good appetite, thank you. MashaAllah. Thanks be to Allah.

Let us say: La ilaha illa Allah La ilaha illa Allah, La ilaha illa Allah, Rabbul ‘Arshil Azim. How much this opens man! Welcome, O yaran (friends) of Shah-e Mardan. You brought khayr (benefit/good). You brought khayr. That khayr revives us. There is nothing without khayr, Sheikh Mehmed Efendi, our son. Our Allah has put khayr in everything. Try to get of some of that goodness.

Marhaban O Shah-e Mardan. Marhaban O yaran of Shah-e Mardan. Let us start with beauty. O yaran of Shah-e Mardan, those servants who are the friends of Shah-e Mardan, welcome. You came with goodness. Let us say: Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. How beautiful. How beautiful it is to say Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. It is not an easy matter to recite the Ism Jalal (Name of Majesty) of Rabbul Izzat, Sheikh Mehmed Efendi. Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. Allah, O Lord! It has been given to us to say it. What a great honor. Always say: Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. Welcome to our gathering O yaran, Shah-e Mardan’s friends. Welcome to our gathering. You came with khayr. There is khayr everywhere Sheikh Mehmed Efendi, our son. There is khayr. Ask for khayr. Ask for khayr because khayr is also plentiful on the surface of the earth. There is khayr in everything, SubhanAllah, Sheikh Mehmed Efendi, our son. There is khayr in the ant too. There is khayr in the ant too. It has a Creator. It has its own praising and it gets support. Allahu Akbar wa Lillahi l-hamd.

Welcome O yaran of Shah-e Mardan. The holy ones are making us speak even if only a few words. If they make us speak, we will say. If they do not, we do not speak. But let us pay attention to speaking, to speaking. As much as we pay attention to speaking, we should also pay attention to listening. We have to be careful to listen. Heavenly words descended on His Rasulu Kibriya (Magnificent Prophet). Let us listen to him, and may we get power. May we get strength for servanthood to our Lord. May we get strength to love His Rasulu Kibriya. This what we want; not to eat and drink but to be able to love the one Allahu Dhul Jalal loves. O our Lord, our Subhan, our Sultan. Al-hamdu Lillah.

Welcome. Let us say: Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. There is no stronger weapon Mehmed, Sheikh Mehmed Efendi, our son. Say everywhere: Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim, Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. You can topple worlds bi hurmati l-Habib. Not only a world like this, you can topple a thousand worlds saying Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. What a strong power this is. Thanks be to Allah. Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. Who are we to recite the Lord of Izzat’s Ism Jalal, to be able to love that Habibi Kibriya of His, to follow his way and carry his love? One who does not have love is a dry log. With love, you get loaded with nur (light). Love. Love. Love the one Allah loves. Allah Jalla wa ‘Ala said: ya Habibi, ya Muhammad Mustafa. He said: O My Dearest Beloved Mustafa. Yahu, say it even if once, so you may open up. You may topple falsehood. You may become a lion.

As-salamu alaikum ayyuha l-hadirun (O attendees). Be present. Greetings to you, our friends. Salamullahi alaikum. Allah’s salam (over you). Salamun qawlan min Rabbin Rahim. (36:58) What a great honor this is, Sheikh Mehmed Efendi. Salamun qawlan min Rabbin Rahim. What a great addressing this is. What an honor it is for mankind. Salamun qawlan min Rabbin Rahim. (36:58) Ya Rabbi, Allahu Allah Allahu Allah, Allahu Allah, Allahu Rabbi, ma li siwahu, illa Hu.

Marhaba. Seek those lights that descend from the sky. Go after those lights, try to get those lights. What does the world have? Ad-dunya jifah. The world is a carcass. It is not a something to desire. Allah Allah. And man is running after this carcass. To collect, to get. The Prophet was not sent to us to collect this carcass. The Prophet, alaihim us-salam, ‘ala Habibina Sayyidi l-awwalin wa l-akhirin, he was not sent for the love of this world. He was sent to show us the ways of our Lord and to plant that love in our hearts. Let us say O Shah-e Mardan, our brothers, Mehmed Efendi our son too – Say Allah so you may open up, Jalla Jalalahu. Say Habibi Muhammad Mustafa, so you may open up. Allahu Akbar. What beauty exists, what blessings exist.

Let us ask, let us open up, Sheikh Mehmed Efendi, our son. Make sure you graft love (Ishq) on the nation and on the people. Habibullah is the one to whom Heavenly love is connected and the one given Heavenly love. Allah Allah. Our Master, The Master of the Universe, in whose holy heart Allah’s love has been planted and inscribed so that it is loaded with sublimity and bliss. Follow the Prophet. Allahu Allah, Allahu Allah.

So what do we start with, Sheikh Mehmed Efendi? What do we start with? Let us start with cleanliness. What is the beginning of cleanliness? Say: Audhu Billahi min ash-shaytani r-Rajeem. Start cleaning with that. Use that to expel Satan. Then light may come to your heart, honor may come to your heart, authority may come from your Lord, affection may come for your Lord, to the one who loves his Lord. May you connect to the Habib whom Allahu Dhul Jalal loves. May you be kneaded with his affection. His affection, O our Lord.

“Khalaqal Insan. ‘Allamahul Bayan.” (55:3-4) Is not the Ayat-e Karima so? “He created man. Taught him expression.” (55:3-4) Khalaqa l-Insan. Allah Allah. Is it not the Quran-e Karim? Quran-e Karim. Quran-e Karim mashaAllah. “Ar-Rahman. ‘Allama l-Qur’an.”(55:1-2) “Khalaqa Al-‘Insan. ‘Allamahu l-Bayan.” (55:3-4) Allahu Akbar. SubhanAllah. What a grand addressing this is. In such a way He is talking about mankind – Ar-Rahman khalaqa l-Insan. He dressed from His own attribute, Sheikh Mehmed Efendi. “‘Allamahu l-Bayan”, He taught him from His bayan (expression) Rabbul ‘Izzat. Ya Rabbi, we do not know anything. The one who teaches us Your beautiful ways is Your dearest Beloved. May we be sacrificed for the way of Your Beloved. Let us love and be loved. Love, so you may be loved. One who does not love (ishq) is not loved. Our Master, the whole universe flows to him. “Khalaqa l-Insan.” What He intends, Allahu Dhul Jalal knows – we do not know. “Khalaqa l-Insan. ‘Allamahu l-Bayan.” (55:3-4)

Rabbul Izzat – If you are to speak justly about His Qudrat and Azamat – “‘Allamahu l-Bayan”. “Khalaqa l-Insan. ‘Allamahu l-Bayan.” (55:3-4) He created mankind to grasp the station of hidden truths where (the Prophet’s) ‘alaihi s-salatu wa s-salam’s honored foot has stepped, may you step there Sheikh Mehmed Efendi, my son. We have become dry logs. Do not become a dry log. Be a rose garden. Many kinds of roses, and many kinds of hyacinths are yours, were created for you O man. Allahu Akbar. Allahu Akbar.

“Khalaqa l-Insan. ‘Allamahu l-Bayan.” (55:3-4) Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar wa Lillahi l-hamd. Why do you not desire the rose garden in the sky? Why do you go after the carcass and oppress each other? Shame on you. You have not been able to learn a thing. “Ar-Rahman. ‘Allama l-Qur’an.”(55:1,2) “Khalaqa l-Insan. ‘Allamahu l-Bayan.” (55:3,4) O Lord! For the Azamat-e Hudara (Greatness of God) What can we do our son, Hz Sheikh Mehmed Efendi? Swallow and take. Dress in those attributes. Let us dress. Our Allah, our Subhan and our Sultan. Forgive us for the sake of that Habib-e Kibriya. The bayan that will teach us these sacred ways of Yours. “Allamahu l-Bayan” What is in that bayan? Allahu Akbar. “Ar-Rahman. Khalaqa l-Insan. ‘Allamahu l-Bayan.” (55:1,3,4) Allah, SubhanAllah, SubhanAllah.

Let us say: Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. What is the key to every door of Truth, to every treasure of Truth, Sheikh Mehmed Efendi? Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. Say at least seven times a day, 70 times or 700 times. Say: Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. With each Basmala, various kinds of treasures of meaning open up my son. Let your gaze be there. Fatiha.

This world, this world is trash. Mankind leaves treasures and runs after trash. “Wa-ila Llahil masiru”(24:42) Run to your Lord. Run to the One who created you. Run to the bounty of Rabbu l-‘Izza. May you get it. Allahu Akbar. Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar wa Lillahi l-hamd. May Allah open our hearts, Sheikh Mehmed Efendi. Our hearts’ treasures are full. Let it come and pour in our hearts. O honorable Prophet ‘alaihi s-salatu wa s-salam.

My Allah, if He also gives us a dot from the love of the Beloved it would turn the universe upside down. O RasulAllah! Intercession O RasulAllah. Madad O RasulAllah. May our hearts shine and open up. Amin. Wa salamun ‘ala l-mursaleen, khususan ‘ala Sayyidi l-mursaleen, wal-hamdu Lillahi Rabbi l-‘alameen, al-Fatiha. Make dua. Those roads open with dua my son. Do not fear. Stand like a lion. Go ahead. As-salamu alaikum.

SME: Wa alaikum salam.

As-salamu alaikum. Allah.

  1. We ask for help only from ALLAH

You we worship, and You we ask for help from. (Quran, 1:5)

The first part is a declaration of innocence from Shirk (polytheism), while the second negates having any power or strength, displaying the recognition that all affairs are controlled by Allah alone. This meaning is reiterated in various instances in the Qur’an.

    Tawhid Al-Uluhiyyah

Ad-Dahhak narrated that Ibn `Abbas said,
    إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ
(You we worship) means, “It is You whom we single out, Whom we fear and Whom we hope in, You alone, our Lord, and none else.

    Tawhid Ar-Rububiyyah

    وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ
(And You we ask for help from), to obey you and in all of our affairs.” Further, Qatadah said that the Ayah,

    إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ
(You we worship, and You we ask for help from) “Contains Allah’s command to us to perform sincere worship for Him and to seek His aid concerning all of our affairs.” Allah mentioned,

    إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ
    (You we worship) before,

    وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ
(And You we ask for help from), because the objective here is the worship, while Allah’s help is the tool to implement this objective. Certainly, one first takes care of the most important aspects and then what is less important, and Allah knows best.
