This is a blessed day of celebration when saints and prophets were relieved from their sufferings and attained their ranks. This is how the Prophet ﷺ did and we do as he did. We respect his ﷺ family and his ﷺ companions. Who doesn’t, follows shayṭān. This is the day of real Muslims, the day of Ṭarīqah people.

As-Salāmu ‘alaykum wa raḥmatu Llāhi wa barakātuh.
A‘ūdhu biLlāhi mina sh-shayṭāni r-rajīm. Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm. Aṣ-ṣalātu wa sSalāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-awwalīn wa l-ākhirīn. Madad yā Rasūla Llāh, madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi Rasūli Llāh, madad yā Mashāyikhinā, dastūr Mawlānā Shaykh ‘Abdu Llāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistānī, Shaykh Muḥammad Nāẓim al-Ḥaqqānī. Madad. Ṭarīqatunā ṣ-ṣuḥbah wa l-khayru fi l-jam‘iyyah.
May Allāh ﷻ bless this day of ‘Āshūrā’. May its blessings be upon us, in shā’a Llāh. We are fasting and there is other worship to be done. In shā’a Llāh we complete it too. To get the blessing, take ghusl, apply kohl to the eyes, shop for the house – these are the blessings of today. It is a good day. It is a good day given by Allāh ﷻ, in shā’a Llāh. We are Ahlu s-Sunnah wa l-Jamā‘ah, Ahlu t-Ṭarīqah. People of ṭarīqah means the way which leads to our Prophet ﷺ. We love those whom he ﷺ loves and don’t love those whom he ﷺ doesn’t. We try to do what he ﷺ did as much as we can. This way is the way of our Prophet ﷺ. It is the way of love and truth. What he ﷺ ordered is clear and what he ﷺ forbade is clear. He ﷺ ordered us to love his ﷺ ṣaḥābah. He ﷺ says, “No one should swear at my ṣaḥābah, especially the chosen ones: Sayyidinā Abū Bakr, Sayyidinā ‘Umar, Sayyidinā ‘Uthmān, Sayyidina ‘Alī with Ḥasan and Ḥusayn.” These are the most beloved people of our Prophet ﷺ. And then it is said in Qur’ān: “I am not asking anything from you.” “Ajran illā l-mawadata fi l-qur’bā” (42:23) – “just love my Ahlu l-Bayt,” says our Prophet ﷺ. This is our way: to love Ahlu l-Bayt, our Prophet ﷺ, and Aṣḥābu l-Kirām.
And ṣaḥābah have their ranks. Allāh ﷻ made everything in ranks. “Wa-rafa‘a ba‘ḍahum darajāt” (2:253). The higher your rank and station grow, the more you are acceptable in the presence of Allāh ﷻ. Same with ṣaḥābah. There are ‘Asharatu l-Mubashsharah (the 10 given good news of Paradise), Khulafā’u r-Rāshidūn, Aṣḥābu l-Badr, Aṣḥābu Uḥud – all of them. There are many ṣaḥābah but these are the people with the highest ranks. We are not allowed to say anything about them. We have to respect them. Especially Aṣḥābu l-Badr, Allāh ‘Azza wa Jalla forgave all their past, present and future sins. They have nothing. Therefore, shayṭān made big fitnah. He decided to make ṣaḥābah of our Prophet ﷺ and Ahlu l-Bayt come against each other. Of course, Aṣḥābu l-Kirām were with our Prophet ﷺ, and he ﷺ turned those Arabs, ignorant people, into jewels, into good individuals. To swear at them and to belittle them is to show disrespect to our Prophet ﷺ.
Our Prophet ﷺ is a great gift, who brought us our religion. He ﷺ is our safety from hell, our salvation. To love him ﷺ is farḍ. To love his ﷺ Ahlu l-Bayt is also.
Our Prophet ﷺ is a great gift, who brought us our religion. He ﷺ is our safety from hell, our salvation. To love him ﷺ is farḍ. To love his ﷺ Ahlu l-Bayt is also. These are the first part. The second part is the group who obeyed shayṭān and their egos and killed Ahlu l-Bayt of our Prophet ﷺ. They are two groups. Not until Qiyāmah, but until Mahdī ‘alayhi s-salām comes, they are soldiers of shayṭān. They say they are Muslim but they are killing and oppressing Muslims. They say they are Muslim and disrespect our Prophet ﷺ, his ﷺ Ahlu l-Bayt. They say they are Muslim and disrespect ṣaḥābah. They swear at ṣaḥābah. It is not a right thing. This day of ‘Āshūrā’ is a holy day. One of the events that happened on this day is our Prophet’s ﷺ blessed uncle Sayyidinā Ḥamzah became shahīd. After he became shahīd, they defaced his blessed body, cut and tortured it. If our Prophet ﷺ ever mourned, he would mourn him. That day would be mourning for all the nation. He ﷺ didn’t do it – as a lesson. In Islām mourning lasts for three days. When someone dies, there is no mourning after three days. Condolences are made until three days. After that it is passed on to Allāh ﷻ. Allāh ‘Azza wa Jalla is “Aḥkamu l-Ḥākimīn” (11:45) (the most Just of judges). Allāh ﷻ brings about the truth. You don’t trust in Allāh’s ﷻ justice? You feel doubtful about Allāh ﷻ? What is that?
Like we said, you are shayṭān’s toy. Both became toys of shayṭān. There is this group who swears at Ahlu l-Bayt and disrespects our Prophet ﷺ. They poisoned people, and by their money the whole world is in blood now. Another group is those who swear at ṣaḥābah, our Prophet’s ﷺ ṣaḥābah. They also don’t accept our Prophet ﷺ and ṣaḥābah. They are soldiers of shayṭān too. The main way, as we said, the way of salvation is our Prophet’s ﷺ. Among so many groups, the only one following our Prophet ﷺ is Ahlu s-Sunnah wa l-Jamā‘ah, people of ṭarīqah. We are from them, in shā’a Llāh. May Allāh ﷻ forgive us. May Allāh ﷻ not let people be confused. May He ﷻ give guidance. Because illiterate people swear at ṣaḥābah and make judgment as they like. Whereas if something happens, that person will swear thousand times as false witness. And they swear at ṣaḥābah afterwards.
May Allāh ﷻ protect. May Allāh ﷻ give understanding to people. There is the right way. The right way is known to everyone. But shayṭān and his followers, his soldiers, are always attacking from everywhere. From one side as we said, there are those who don’t like Ahlu l-Bayt, who disrespect our Prophet ﷺ and say, “We don’t need him ﷺ. The Prophet ﷺ is just a man like us,” and those who swear at ṣaḥābah. The world today is full of fitnah that comes from people of these two kinds. All this evil comes from them. A person on the right way is merciful. He is good hearted like our Prophet ﷺ, pays attention to his own worship and trusts in Allāh ﷻ. Allāh ﷻ will question you. If Allāh ﷻ is questioning, you cannot. Allāh ﷻ does what He ﷻ wants. He ﷻ is Al-Qādiru l-Muqtadir.
In shā’a Llāh today is a day of blessings, a day of beauty. Today, in shā’a Llāh, after ṣuḥbah – it can be done from morning till evening but we usually pray after ẓuhr four raka‘āt ‘Āshūrā’ prayer. In each rak‘ah we read eleven Ikhlāṣ, in shā’a Llāh. After we finish, we recite 70 “Ḥasbuna Llāhu wa ni‘ma l-wakīl (3:173) ni‘ma l-mawlá wa ni‘ma n-naṣīr” (8:40) and seven times a special du‘ā’. The blessings of this day will be upon us in shā’a Llāh.
Today is tenth of Muḥarram Yawmu ‘Āshūrā’. It is very blessed day, it is holy day full of bless. This is from whole prophets, whole saints, whole good people. They are celebrate this day because it is day of to get happiness, to get free from illness, from suffering, from anything. It was this day and this day who Allāh ﷻ give for saints their ranks and we are celebrate this day. It is day of Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam and day of our ṭarīqah people, taṣawwuf people. Real Islām, real Muslim day because it is day of bless coming from Allāh ‘Azza wa Jalla. And it is, we are calling ourself Ahlu s-Sunnah wa l-Jamā‘ah, following Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam. And it’s coming from him, ṭarīqah.
Our ṭarīqah on, forty ṭarīqah coming from Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam continiously. So it is what Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam like, we like. What he ﷺ love, we love. What he ﷺ hate, we hate. What he ﷺ not like. we not like. This is what he ﷺ is teaching. We are following exactly. What he ﷺ is teaching we are following. And his ﷺ teaching to love his ﷺ companion, to not swear on them. Who swear on them, Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam he cursing him. Said, “Allāh ﷻ cursing them. And Prophet ﷺ and Angels and whole people cursing this people who are cursing my companions.” And companion it is, they are real men and they are real jewel. But of course there is ranks between companions. First the Khulafā’u r-Rāshidūn – for Sayyidinā Abū Bakr, ‘Umar, ‘Uthmān, ‘Alī raḍī Allāhu ‘anhum. And there is ten of them also who they good tiding with Paradise. And there is Aṣḥābu l-Badr – this first war against, [they are] three hundred thirteen. This is also their… Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam saying this people who Allāh ﷻ forgive them for past, what they done in past – this is for everybody can be – but for this also what they will [do] until end of their life. Allāh ﷻ forgive them what they done so nobody can say anything for this people. But people they are still, there is people swearing on them, not liking them, they hate them. And there is Aṣḥābu Uḥud the other. So there is rank between ṣaḥābah. And in Qur’ān also Allāh ﷻ said, “We are, we make prefer some people to other by ranks.” But they are following to Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam.
So this people who saying bad things for them, he is real follower of shayṭān not follower of Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam. And there is another kind also. Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam saying in Qur’ān saying āyah verses: “Lā as’alukum ‘alayhi ajran illā l-mawaddata fi l-qurbá” (42:23) to his family, his daughters, sons, and grandsons. Ahlu l-Bayt we call them. So now there is two part who are not following what Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam saying. And this two kind of people they are all following shayṭān not following Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam. So Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam if anything will happen he ﷺ will say, “Don’t follow this people, don’t like this people.” What he ﷺ said, “I’m loving Sayyidinā Abū Bakr. I love Sayyidinā ‘Umar. I love Sayyidinā ‘Uthmān.” And this people they are saying no and another people they are hating family of Prophet ﷺ, Ahlu l-Bayt. And they said “they [Ahlu l-Bayt] are people like us” and even they kill Prophet’s ﷺ grandson. Even and still this kind of people until now, they are not respecting Prophet ﷺ, not respecting his ﷺ Ahlu l-Bayt, not respecting anybody.
So our ṭarīqah, the major of Muslim, real Muslim, following ṭarīqah and following what Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam saying. If there must be day for to be sadness day – what they said? I don’t know what they said for after when somebody die? Mourning. No in Islām, no mourning, only three days mourning. After three days no mourning. And if it was like this, the first one must do this – our Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam. Because in Uḥud they martyred his ﷺ uncle, the most beloved for him ﷺ, and Prophet ﷺ was crying too much when see him because he cut, they cut him, cut his nose, cutting and they doing very bad after his murdered, martyred. So Prophet ﷺ was very sad. If anything in Islām must be day, mourning day, it must be Prophet ﷺ say for doing for his ﷺ uncle. And we was [would be] following him but it is not Islām. Not from ‘ibādah to every ‘Āshūrā’ to make sadness for… No. We respect. We are making charity. We make praying. We must reading Qur’ān, Yāsīn, and everything and send for Sayyidinā Ḥusayn (ra) and his companions also. We love them and we are not happy with what they done with him but Allāh ﷻ…
We are believe in Allāh ﷻ and He ﷻ will ask for this shayṭān army what they done for grandson of Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam. So we are… this is real belief. Not believe like “I will kill this people who are following ṣaḥābah” and other they say, “We will kill Ahlu l-Bayt because they are bid‘ah, they are shirk.” This is two of them – toys in hand of shayṭān. Al-ḥamdu liLlāh, Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam, he left for us strong thing to follow to not be toy for shayṭān. What he is order, what he like, what he don’t like, in shā’a Llāh, ṭarīqah all of them they showing and who like to be real Muslim and for real Islām, you must follow ṭarīqah. And this is for ‘Āshūrā’ – order for whole people, in shā’a Llāh to not be toy.
Because nowadays every there is media, there is television, they are showing, they saying, and so who is ignorant he not, cannot read anything. He judging for Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam, for his companion, for other. So he is going out of way. So ṭarīqah very important but shayṭān and this two part of kind of people, they are whole attacking ṭarīqah, not happy with ṭarīqah. Al-ḥamdu liLlāh, we are happy with ṭarīqah, in shā’a Llāh and we like people to follow and to be in right way way of Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam.
And today, al-ḥamdu liLlāh, there is ‘ibādah – like washing yourself, putting kohl, and making charity. We make and there is also now, after – normally from after fajr until maghrib – you can make four raka‘āt for ‘Āshūrā’ day. Each rak‘ah you read eleven time Ikhlāṣ, “Qul huwa Llāhu Aḥad” (112:1). After you read seventy times “Ḥasbuna Llāhu wa ni‘ma l-wakīl” (3:173) and there is du‘ā’. Also seven times du‘ā’. And who can do, make thousand time Ikhlāṣu sh-Sharīf. Also after, when finish until maghrib, in shā’a Llāh. Allāh ﷻ save us from shayṭān and his follower and make ‘Āshūrā’ mubārak for us, barakah for Ummah, in shā’a Llāh. And in shā’a Llāh we are asking Allāh ‘Azza wa Jalla to send us Mahdī ‘alayhi s-salām to finish this army of shayṭān – especially who are claiming they are Muslim. Other we know but, who are claiming Muslim, they are giving harming Muslim more than non-Muslim. Allāh ﷻ save us from them, keep us safe.
Wa min Allāhi t-tawfīq, al-Fātiḥah.
