After Fajr prayer and before Eid Prayer, Mawlana congratulated all of us on Eid. Mawlana explained the meaning of Eid and the value of Takbir.

As-Salamu alaikum, O yaran of Shah Mardan. The ahbab of Shah Mardan, may Salam be upon you. On this holy day when Ramadan Sharif is completed, may Salam be upon the believers who are ready to celebrate Bayram/the festival. 

Madad Ya Sahibu-l Maydan, Shah Mardan. May you grant us from your holy words. Your yaran are your admirers. May we kiss the hands, the feet of our Master who is the Fakhru l-Ka’inat, the pride of all Creation (ﷺ) and may he grant us his intercession and compassion. This is a sohbat from Shah Mardan. It is according to our level, our capacity. If we pass beyond our capacity, it is of no benefit. Welcome to you, O yaran of Shah Mardan. Marhaba to those who attend the assembly of the lovers of Shah Mardan. O our Shah Mardan, the Lion of lions! 

Even if there was no order to make sajda, to prostrate before Who created us, to make sajda for Him is the glory/shan & iftikhar/ pride of the people. 

Mubarak the feast of Ramadan Sharif. May it be mubarak for you and mubarak for us also. Come in- O yaran, O ahbab. Kunu Ibad’Allahi ikhwana – the servants of Allah are are brothers. Let us say Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim- remember the Majestic Name of our Mawla, and that He accepted us for His servanthood. He (swt) dressed us with that honour. Let us praise, thank our Lord. Let us put our foreheads on the ground for sajda. Even if there was no order to make sajda, to prostrate before Who created us, to make sajda for Him is the glory/shan & iftikhar/ pride of the people. 

Go ahead O Shah Mardan. Today is the first day of the Ramadan Feast- it is Bayram (Eid/Festival). What have we done that it came to be a festival? We have done/accomplished something according to our capacity & Allah Almighty is paying in return. The great Angels are surprised in the Heavens- “These children of Adam are on the streets this morning. They are rushing somewhere all together, with such joy”. Subhan Allah. Come in O Muslims. There is a shadumani/happiness. You can’t see, you can’t celebrate this happiness, this joy every day. Shadumani, it is bayram/festival. The servants of Allah put on their clean dresses, put on their new dresses and they are walking in the streets, in crowds at the time of dawn. To where are they walking? They are going to the Diwan/Assembly of their Lord to make sajda for their Lord, to make shukur & to find the joy of being forgiven by chanting Allahu Akbar. 

What is the day today? What day? Do you not hear it in the streets, in the dawn? in the mosques- “Allahu Akbar Allahu Akbar La Ilaha Ill’Allahu w’Allahu akbar Allahu akbar wa lillahi l-hamd”. Allah. “Dress on them” He (swt) says, “dress on them barakah/blessings- dress on My servants from the barakah of Heavens that they are magnifying Me. They are saying “Allahu Akbar”. Dress on them, dress on them from the Nurani dress of Heavens that they may be pleased. Their Eid may be mubarak. O Angels! You also join them. You also say the Takbir”. The Islamic nations are gaining majesty with Takbir. They are – the servants of Allah- are walking through the streets arrayed in lines. Allahu Akbar Allahu Akbar La Ilaha Ill’Allahu w’Allahu Akbar. Allahu Akbar wa liLlahi l-Hamd. 

On the oceans the Angels who are appointed for the oceans as well as the holy ones, the murabit (saints appointed to look after a particular place), are reciting the Takbir.

The Malaika Kiram, the great Angels also join them and set off an uproar in dunya – whole dunya is in an uproar- dunya is shaking with the Takbirs of this holy day, the Eid of Ramadan. Allahu Akbar! They shake dunya like the rocking of a cradle. Listen to the words of the holy Shah Mardan and walk with him. Ka’anna, ka’annahu- you will be as if you walked with the Shah Mardan. Al mar’u maa man ahabba. The person is with the one he loves. Love and you will be loved. You should know who to love. O our Lord! Allahu Akbar Allahu Akbar La Ilaha Ill’Allahu w’Allahu akbar Allahu Akbar wa lillahi l-Hamd. Dunya is shaking, from every direction. On the oceans the Angels who are appointed for the oceans as well as the holy ones, the murabit (saints appointed to look after a particular place), are reciting the Takbir. Not only these, but there is the group who are not responsible yet they even recite in their own language, the poor ones. Takbir is not for them but they have their tasbih / praising. “Wa in min shayin illa yusabbihu bihamdihi walakin la tafqahuna tasbeehahum”. (17:44) 

The Angels of the Seven Heavens on this holy day of Eid- the voice of each one of them is like the voice of the Angel of Ra’ad (the angel responsible for thunder & rain)- recite the Takbir.

Everything has its tasbih- they have their tasbih, their tazim/glorification of their Creator. “Subhan Allah, Subhan Allah, Subhan Allah”- there is not one atom that does not say this, S. Mehmet Effendi. To where are all these people going? They go magnifying their Lord. The children of Adam magnify & the rest of the creation praises / makes tasbih. 

So it is today that Shah Mardan said these few words to us. O holy Shah Mardan. Man is the Hz Insan. His maqam/station is high. He is the Caliph on earth. So one should appreciate the honour of Man accordingly. Man should appreciate the honour of other Men. Who doesn’t know this falls down to the category of animals. Who know the honour rank of Man- they are dressed especially with a dress from Heavens. They are dressed with a new dress of Eid. There is no value in dunya (worldly) dresses. We didn’t do anything, but in Allah Almighty’s Presence, our simple glorification, praise and exaltation is accepted. An order is coming – dress My servants who are making Takbir with a dress of Eid from heavens. What a dress it is. That is why if people knew that rank, they wouldn’t stay in the stable of animals. They would run to the assemblies of the Yaran (beloved friends) of Shah Mardan while reciting Divine Takbir (Allahu Akbar). 

What a nice day. The Angels are in the streets. Where are they going? They are going to make Shukr Sajdah (prostration of thanks) to their Lord. They are the ones who value Holy Ramadan. They did what they could according to their capacity. Don’t give them from the dress of dunya. Give them… Today everyone wears new dunya clothes too, in order to show appreciation for the value of this day. They wear their clean clothes, even if it has patches. They wear their clean, new clothes. Where do they go while saying Takbir? They are going to do their servanthood for their Lord and give praise. 

Madad Ya Shah Mardan. Shah Mardan is giving his Yaran good tidings – Today, you are going early in the morning while making Takbir. We won’t leave you with patched clothes; we won’t leave you with dunya dresses. You will be dressed with the dress of honor from heavens. That’s why they go with joy. They go with hope and return with joy and they will find everything. 

Welcome our Yaran (beloved friends). May your honor be forever. May you live a nice life. May your life in dunya be a nice life, a sweet life, an honorable life. O Shah Mardan, go ahead. Your Yaran admire you. Those who love him are his Yaran, his beloved friends. Let’s love and be loved. Those who love are loved. Love Muslims. Defend/ support Muslims. Stay away from those who are far from Islam. Don’t give them your hand, don’t be close to them. Allahu Akbar. Be close to those who love Islam. Stay away from those who don’t love Islam. Even if they have a treasure like Qarun, don’t be close to them, don’t ask from them. They can’t match Islam’s honor, beauty, richness, lights, Islam’s holiness and blessings. 

O Muslims, listen. Let’s listen to Shah Mardan. This is what he is saying. Love so you can be loved. Love Allah and run to Him. Love our Master and run to him. Run away from those who don’t love them. Don’t go, O Muslim, don’t go to those who don’t come to Islam. Don’t beg from them. Don’t deal with them even if they give you money. Keep the honor of Islam, and Allah Almighty will send you grants like rain. Subhan Allah, Sultan Allah. Our Lord, our Sultan, our Lord, our Subhan, who did He dress with those attributes? He dressed our Master (ﷺ). Awliya (saints) call him – Fakhru Ka’inat/ Pride of the Universe. Look at our Master, the Master of the Universe. Don’t look anywhere else. Even if they pile gold in front of you, kick it aside and leave it. The love of the Pride of the Universe, and his honor is enough for us. O Turks, you have become bewildered. O Arabs, you have become confused. You are running after democracy. That is a WC. Whoever falls in it will drown. Come to the clean way. We are Muslims. Don’t search for anything other than Islam. There is no honor in that. Honor is with Muslims. There is nothing for them outside Islam. 

O our Lord, give us strength. O Shah Mardan, may your words be a cure for those present. Let’s fill our mosques. Let’s say – Allahu Akbar Allahu Akbar La ilaha illa Allah wa Llahu Akbar Allahu Akbar wa liLlahi l-Hamd. How nice. Today is the day that special mercy comes down from heavens to those who kept the orders during the holy Ramadan so they can celebrate and pray 2 rak’at. MashaAllah, mashaAllah. Let’s appreciate it and dress with Islam. Let’s dress as Muslims. You can’t find any other dress as beautiful as the dress of Muslims. You can’t find the dress of Islam or dress of Muslims anywhere else. Those who see you should know that you are Muslim. 

Our Lord, our Subhan, our Sultan, for the sake of Your Beloved Habib, You gave us all these blessings. Let’s love You. Let’s walk on Your way. Let’s find honor on Your way. There is no honor on any other way. Say – Allahu Akbar Allahu Akbar la ilaha illa Allah wa Llahu Akbar Allahu Akbar wa liLlahi l-Hamd. Eid prayer is with Takbir. How nice it is with Takbir. And now, today, it is almost time for Eid prayer. These few words from Shah Mardan are enough for us. It is enough for the whole world and for 7 worlds. Let’s say – Allahu Akbar Allahu Akbar la ilaha illa Allah wa Llahu Akbar Allahu Akbar wa liLlahi l-Hamd. Al-‘Azamatu liLlah. 

Yesterday, the whole universe trembled like this. And there was the glorification & exaltation of the Angels. Go ahead, our brothers, make dua (supplication) for us too. May your honor increase. Man’s honor is from Islam. There is no honor outside of Islam. Allahumma salli ‘ala Sayyidina Muhammad Sayyidi l-Awwalina wa l-Akhirin. Salat and Salam to our Master who is the Sultan of sultans. May it be easy for us to follow the ways he showed us. May our faces be full of lights and our hearts pure. May our end be a good one. Go with clean ones. Don’t open your hand to kafir (unbelievers). Don’t wish anything from them. Say “Allah” and go. Say “Allah” and set out. This is enough for today. Today’s explanation and pronouncement could continue until next year, but this is enough. Our Khalifa (representative) Sheikh Mehmed Effendi will give a talk and others will benefit.
