Depression: Cause & Cure

A PERSON’S VALUE CORRESPONDS TO THE VALUE HE ASSIGNS TO HIS TIME

Time is the “Hand of Allah”: it moves everything along its course towards its ordained destination. Some are able to comprehend the purport of the passage of time, and observe it with the eye of wisdom. Such people deal with time by grasping the reins of each passing day, utilizing their God-given vision to move their lives in the right direction.

Others perceive time in a distorted manner, like a person looking at a convex or a concave mirror. This malady of perception occurs because they are not reconciled to the “Hand of Allah”, haven’t understood the reason why Allah Almighty has confined us to the realm of time and space. He intends thereby only to give us a chance to perfect ourselves, to acquire Divine Attributes through our own efforts in a difficult situation, and thus prepare ourselves for the day of our reunion with our Lord.

In a Holy Tradition the Lord said:

“The Children of Adam curse time, and I am time. In My Hand is the passage of day and night”.

For those who have not yet understood this truth, time seems to behave in an erratic and disturbing way. The effect of this is to draw our attention to the need tp change ourselves to feel in harmony with the passage of time, since time itself, obviously, will neither speed up nor slow down to accommodate our wishes. Our perceiving our own problem with time is a mercy from God, for as a stomachache indicates the need for a change in eating habits, so does this malady awaken us to the need for adjustment of our lifestyle.

For some people time seems to fly, carrying them along like helpless riders on the backs of stampeding horses, in a herd headed over a cliff. For others time seems to stand still as if it were bogged down in the mire.

First of all we must understand the value of time; how, once spent, it is irretrievable. If all the nations were to pool their resources to try and redeem even one second of the past (in order to change a catastrophic decision, for example) would they succeed? No, a mountain of treasure cannot bring back even a second of your life. So, time is precious beyond reckoning, but yet do people idly frit- ter away the hours, and seek means for gaining even more leisure time.

So many people (not only those who would be considered clinically manic-depressive) suffer from an inability to adapt to the passage of time in a way that accords them peace of mind.

The egos of very young people want to devour the whole world immediately. The feverish heat of the fulfillment of passions and the pursuit of pleasure makes time appear to fly by. So often, at this critical time in people’s lives no prudence is exercised, and heeding the urges of the ego they expend all of their energy. Such unrestrained indulgence is the sure way to deplete one’s energy quickly and foolishly for life is like a marathon run: it requires pacing: if you just sprint from the start you will collapse after a few hundred yards. Keeping back a reserve of energy calls for self-control and willpower attributes rare among the young.

For the most part very young people steer clear of spiritual paths: only when they suffer a “breakdown” do they come limping in here for ‘servicing’. Hundreds of people come to me saying: “Oh Shaykh Efendi can you help me?” It is such a difficult task to help people who have expended all their energy uselessly and whose physical and mental powers are at a pitifully low level. Sometimes I am amazed at what I see, for these people are still, for the most part, quite young. Raising the dead is a miracle given only to Prophets, but as long as there are signs of life we hope to be able to arouse people from their coma-like states.

As a result of the excesses brought about by the manic state, its opposite, depression, manifests itself in these young people. Now time no longer flies, but drags along at a snail’s pace. A depressed person wishes that time would again fly, but, on the contrary, minutes seem like hours, hours like days and days like weeks. Usually, people who lack useful outlets for their energies and feel unfulfilled are subject to these feelings. How foolish it is for people to wish that their time would pass quickly, when, as we pointed out, time is like a priceless jewel.

In the Most Distinguished Naqshbandi Sufi Order we have a rule of thumb: A person’s value corresponds to the value he assigns to his time. If you perceive your time to be a worthless burden that you hope will pass away quickly, then you are a burden on the face of the earth, and it would be better to be under it than on it. Why? Because you wantonly squandered one priceless treasure: your vital energy. Now that other priceless treasure, time, is not like wealth in your hands but like an immense pile of treasure underneath which you are buried. Be judicious with your vital energy so that the value of time may hecome manifest to you. When you keep your time like a diamond you will be exalted in the eyes of people and in the Divine Presence, here and hereafter.

There is a Sufi aphorism: “The Sufi is the child of his or her time”. This means that the Sufi treats his or her time with the same veneration and respect due to his or her parents. Filial piety is a paramount duty in religion, and in the Sufi Way we are exhorted to honour our time as if we were honouring our mother and father. A true dervish will never waste a moment, but will catch it as a skilled jockey grabs the reins of his horse, applying his skill so that it runs in the right direction and at the right speed. Look in on a true dervish and you should find him or her occupied with something useful, never with detrimental or useless activities.

If a person can guide himself in such a manner he is on the road to perfection, because he knows what he must do. His heart’s eyes will never be blind; he is keenly aware of the significance of all he encounters.

Our Grandshaykh used to say:

“Oh people, how are you filling your days? Don’t waste time, but strive to weave time and space with still so that you will leave an enduring legacy behind you in this world and be honoured thereby here and hereafter”.

For followers of a Sufi Way wasting time either idly or in useless activity is the greatest sin. Guard your vital energy and your valuable time make every moment live.

LESSON NO: 01

CAN YOU LEARN TO PRACTISE WITHOUT A TEACHER?

Lecture by Sultan ul Awliya Shaykh Muhammad Nazim Adil Q.S (Alyaa Rehma),

Lecture dated: 01.03.1994, Italy

It is very important for Muslims to follow Tariqats so that they can be shown the way to practise Islam. It is not enough to learn many things from books, but it is essential to know how to practise what you know. A person may learn everything concerning surgery from books, but does it mean that he can make an operation? He will probably be more of a butcher than a surgeon if he doesn’t practise with an authorised surgeon! To learn from books is nothing without practice. People keep big books in their librares. They have 100 or 1000 books, and there is nothing in it! Islam needs practice!

What are we going to practise? We will practise servanthood, because Islam has brought the perfect method of servanthood to mankind. That is why Allah Almighty has sent the Holy Quran and His Praised Servant to teach us how to practise the Holy Quran. There are so many ignorant and foolish people who deny Muslims their right of having teachers. There must be two kinds of teachers: learned-ones and Sheiks. The learned-ones can teach the knowledge and the Sheiks how to use it.

New Muslims nowadays get an allergy when you speak to them about Sheiks. They start to tremble. Their egos cannot accept it, because they have already made their own ego into their idol. They are so foolish and ignorant. They do not look at the life of the Prophet and his companions. If it was enough with a book alone, Allah Almighty could have sent papers down on people telling them how to administer their life. But that is not what Allah Almighty did. He sent His Book to His Prophet and His Prophet taught them of how to practise. All this means that it is not enough to read the Holy Quran. You cannot understand it.

But new Muslims are denying all this. They are so ignorant and foolish. Allah Almighty sent the Archangel Gabriel to His Praised one, to Sayidina Muhammad, may peace be upon him. And the Angel said to him, “Oh, Muhammad, look at me, I am making wudu.” He then stood infront of Muhammad and prayed 2 rakaats and the Prophet followed his example. If the Prophet hadn’t showed us, how would we have known how to pray? Had the explanations in the Holy Quran or in the Hadith been enough? Can anyone claim such a thing? If the companions had to follow someone, how can it be possible that we in our time should leave the Muslims without a trainer to teach them?

These new-fashioned people are trying to take away the mazabs, the imams of the tariqat. They say, “Look at the Quran and find your way!” Oh, foolish person, it is as if you have a motorway and you will tell me not to go, but to open another way through the mountains. At the same time these people think that they are so intellectual and very important, because they are doctors, doctors of ignorance.

That is why I am giving everyone who denies these things a broom to clean the mosque and the places for wudu, because they will never keep anything in their head. This is a training-centre, for women and men and for all Muslims and all mankind. It is to teach them the way of servanthood of Allah Almighty. We must try to become better from day to day. Our actions should be better, better than yesterday. If you feel that you are getting better, the question is of course, how you know this? One way is to see that the importance of this world gets smaller in your heart and the love for Allah grows. The sign that this love is growing, is that you will feel refreshment, enjoyment and satisfaction. Sadness will leave you, because that is only connected to this world. This world makes you sad, but whoever believes in the world hereafter, will be happy and sadness will leave you. It will make you pleased because you are believing in eternal life. It means that you are believing in Allah Almighty and in his neverending existence. Whoever believes in eternal life must be pleased, but who denies it, who can be? This life is coming to an end, more and more from day to day. How can it make you happy?

So if you ask yourself from day to day if you are improving, then ask yourself if you are feeling pleasure in your heart. That is a good sign that you are improving and getting better. If sadness comes, then you must cry for yourself because sadness is a bad sign. If pleasure grows through your heart, then that is a good sign of your goodness. We are trying to give that to people from day to day. It is the beginning of good servanthood to be happy with Allah, to be pleased with Allah. Those are good signs. It means that your soul is covering your personality and not leaving you in darkness. The ego always carries people into darkness. Whoever follows his ego will finally have such bad feelings. Your soul carries you to lights and your ego carries you to darkness. You may follow your ego or your soul. If you feel a sadness, then look quickly why you are sad. If you believe in Allah Almighty and in eternal life, then how can you be sad? If you believe in paradise and that goodness will be rewarded, then why will you be sad? It means that your ego is carrying you to darkness to be sad. Stop it quickly and change your direction to the direction of your soul. In every moment blessings are coming to your soul and if you follow your soul you will reach blessings all the time from Allah Almighty and those blessings will give you refreshments and deep pleasures in your heart.

Imagine two people in the evening. One is fasting, the other one isn’t. They are sitting at the same table. One had followed the way of his soul and had fasted. The second followed his ego, and didn’t. The person who has fasted feels a refreshment throughout his heart which the other person cannot imagine. One of them will be in pleasure, the other one in sadness. Whoever follows his soul follows the Prophet and the way to heavens and the way to Divine Presence. That is why he will be in pleasure. But the ego follows satan and satan takes him to darkness.

Oh people, try to become better from day to day. As long as you are with Allah, you will always be pleased because blessings are coming on you. When you are with your ego you will always be sad. If a person goes to the mosque, his heart will be full of pleasure, but if he goes to the pub, there will be no pleasure. He will have a stomach-ache and head-ache. He will ache everywhere. Even more than that someone might even beat him up when he comes out. All of this because people are members of satanic centres. Every pub belongs to that category. Oh people, try to be good-ones! It is suitable to be a member of humanity. Whoever claims to be that, must try to be good. That is suitable. If not you will belong to the four-legged or six-legged people of the jungle.

May Allah forgive us. He is great, so great, endless great. And we are endlessly small. But nevertheless He lets us find out about Him. He makes it possible for us to believe in Him, to worship Him, to love Him, to love his endless beauty oceans. What a greatness! We thank Him and He hears us, He has perfect hearing. We are so small, and yet He hears us, He is listening, He is with us!

Al Fatiha

Don’t Leave the Dhikr (Remembrance)

Sultan ul Awliya Shaykh Muhammad Nazim Adil Al Haqqani Q.S (Alyaa Rehma),

Lecture date: 23-01-2010, Lefke – Cyprus

(Mawlana Shaykh stands.) Dastoor yaa Sayyidee, madad. Madad ya RijaalAllah. La ilaaha illa-Llah. La ilaaha illa-Llah. La ilaaha illa-Llah, Sayyidina Muhammadun Rasoolullah. Alfu, alfu salaam. Alfu, alfu salaat `alayka, yaa Sayyidi ‘l-awwaleen wa’l-aakhireen. Ishfa` lana yaa Sayyidi ‘l-awwaleen wa’l-aakhireen. (Mawlana Shaykh sits.)

Dastoor. Thumma salaamu `alayka yaa Qutb az-Zamaan, yaa Qutb al-Mutassarif. We are giving our salaams on the Qutb az-Zamaan, Qutb al-Mutassarif, because he was looking for everything on this world and he must reach from everything to everything on this world, he must reach. How can he reach? Who is making or granting him to be the pole of this world, He is granting to him a power that he should be able to reach everything on this planet, and we are asking from him, humbly, for a heavenly support because we are in need. We are so needy for heavenly support now. We are saying a`oodhu billahi min ash-Shaytaani ‘r-rajeem, that is destroying, kulla Shaytan!

When you are saying a`oodhu billahi min ash-Shaytaani ‘r-rajeem that is a heavy bombarding on Shaytan’s forts, making them down. Therefore, O people, if you are feeling some fear through yourself, say a`oodhu billahi min ash-Shaytaani ‘r-rajeem, because the main purpose of Shaytan is to make everyone to have a bad way of thinking or bad feelings. Shaytan is reaching people to make them unhappy, to make people always have sorrow and grief. Tawba, astaghfirullah. He is trying to make people fall into fear and bad thinking, bad conditions for people. Oh! Now we are saying a`oodhu billahi min ash-Shaytaani ‘r-rajeem. Bismillahi ‘r-Rahmaani ‘r-Raheem: that is our sword. We are taking it up! When you are one true one, when you are saying bismillahi ‘r-Rahmaani ‘r-Raheem, you can kill Shaytan and its followers and supporters. Therefore, say bismillahi ‘r-Rahmaani ‘r-Raheem!

There is a heavy knowledge that makes our hearts to come in a comfortable level. When we are saying bismillahi ‘r-Rahmaani ‘r-Raheem, it is taking and quickly putting us on a good level. Angels taking that person and putting on a plane, on a level, and when coming on it he is going to be in safety, and his feelings just changing. That is important for saving people. That is the Prophet’s (Peace & Blessing Upon Him) knowledge that he had been granted and he is the only one who can give some chosen ones or selected ones that knowledge, the Seal of Prophets (Peace & Blessing Upon Him).

Oh! As-salaamu ` alaykum our listeners from whole nations! You may listen, and you can reach a safety here and Hereafter. If you are keeping what you are hearing, you may reach to a level and then another level, that from level to level you are going to find yourself in such a pleasure, through enlightenment. Yes, we are saying now.

O People! Listen, open not these ears, but open your heart’s ears. Let your hearts listen to some holy knowledge from holy people. Who are holy people? They are who have a relationship with heavenly people. O People! Then ismaa’, hear and listen and do what the holy command is ordering you to do. There is news from the Seal of Prophets that for everyone there is one Shaytan, waswaasi ‘l-khan-naas, it is mentioned through the Holy Qur’an al-Kareem:

مِن شَرِّ الْوَسْوَاسِ الْخَنَّاسِ

Min sharri ‘l-waswaasi ‘l-khan-naas,

From the mischief of the whisperer (of evil), who withdraws (after his whisper). (114:4)

When a person is sitting and doing nothing, Shaytan is coming closer to that person and as there is the trunk that an elephant has, Shaytan’s trunk is coming like this when he is looking and seeing a person sitting like this. Shaytan is saying, “It is a very suitable time to carry that person to run after me.” He is coming and looking, “Oh, he is doing nothing and he is thinking, saying to others that he is in a good condition, thinking to do something that gives honor to him here and Hereafter. But look! Now he is heedless. It is time. Come, my helpers, quickly each one of you put your trunk in that one’s heart.” And everyone begin to give that person different sounds and singing, and he is prepared to follow Shaytan because he is a heedless one. Shaytan is making his children and followers to speak or to throw through that one’s heart such a thing that never happened. He is running in it and enjoying.

If a person has a relationship to one holy one, he may say, “O my master, please reach to me. Now I am in a difficult position. My heart is just upset.” When a person who is an awakened one is feeling this and calling on some holy ones, “O my master, reach me quickly and save me from Shaytan’s attack. He is just putting his trunk through my heart. I don’t know what I am doing, or what I am thinking, making me forget Allah, making me forget His most glorified and honored one, Sayyidina Muhammad (Peace & Blessing Upon Him)!

I am in such a bad condition. O chosen ones, O awakened ones! Reach me with your spirituality, with your spiritual power and save me from Shaytan’s attacks!” Then they may come.

That is the Prophet’s (Peace & Blessing Upon Him) meaning of his holy hadith, that if a person is going to be with his Lord, he is going to be with Allah, saying, Allah, Allah, Allah, Shaytan comes back, comes back, comes back, asking to escape. When saying, Allah, Allah, Allah, Allah, Shaytan can’t be able to come to that one’s heart and to make that one to be heedless and not knowing his Creator and giving the highest respects to his Creator. When saying, Allah, taking his trunk back and running away! When looking at a person who is not with his Lord, his Creator, Shaytan is coming again and making its trunk through the heart of people and they will forget everything and lose their feelings and good understanding; they are finishing from him.

But when that servant is saying, Allah, Allah, Allah, Allah, Allah, Allah `Azeez Allah, by tongue or through his heart, Shaytan is quickly taking its trunk and running away and looking, looking like this. If forgetting, not making dhikr for his Lord and his Lord’s much more respected and honored one, they are putting his trunk through that servant’s heart and throwing in it every dirtiness as garbage! With Shaytan, ohhh, countless garbage is being put in that heedless servant’s heart and he is getting to be in unrest saying, “What am I doing? Where am I now? What is this heaviness on my head and my shoulders?” But he is never thinking that Shaytan is putting that dirtiness or garbage on his heart. He is running from the east to the west to find something to save himself from such dirty thoughts, and asking to be a rested one, but he can’t do this.

He is going and running to a psychiatrist! They are giving him one handful of tablets to make it a much more difficult position. People who are going to psychiatrists, his or her situation getting worse, worse, worse. It is not something from material disturbing, no, it belongs to our hearts, it belongs to our souls. If you are asking to be treated with material things, this can’t be, can’t be! Therefore, there are some people who may reach you and give you something, saying, “Close your eyes and don’t move for five minutes. Look to your heart and through your heart say, Allah, Allah, Allah. Try it. There is no other recipe. No, there can’t be. Those who are taking a handful of tablets and such things, they are giving some benefit, but they are giving more trouble to that person.

Therefore, O Salafi `ulamas, why are you not saying to people, to say through their hearts to make dhikr and to say this, “My heart is working now, not my tongue. My heart is saying, Allah, Allah, Allah, Allah.” If your heart is not saying Allah, it can’t be tuk ,tuk, tuk, tuk, tuk (beating); no, that person will die. If it is not doing that dhikr through his heart, that person will die; finished. Therefore, Shari`ah is to say fadhkuroonee. (Allah is saying), “O People! Do the remembrance of My Holy Names. I am your guarantee. There will be no problem for your physical being or around yourself there should be no trouble.” Kun ma` Allah wa tooboo ‘ilayh, “Be with Allah and repent to Him.”

What are you saying, O Salafi `ulama? We are saying to people, “Do dhikr,” and you are saying, “Dhikr is bid’ah, you can’t do it.” How we can’t do it? What is the reason, if there are coming together 10 or 100 or 1000 people, and we are saying, Allah, Allah, Allah, Allah. Allah, Allah, Allah, Allah. Allah, Allah, Allah, Allah? What is wrong if we are saying this alone or in jama’ah? What is the reason you are preventing it?

How many kinds of bid’ah are there, do you know? In Shari`ah there are two kinds of bid’ah. There is one bid’ah sayi’aat and one bid’aatu hasanaat. Why are you preventing dhikr? If people are sitting around Ka`aba Mu`azamah or Rawdah Shareef and saying, Allah, Allah, Allah, Allah. Allah, Allah, Allah, Allah. Allah, Allah, Allah, Allah. Allah, Allah, Allah, Allah. Huuuuuu, what is wrong? What is wrong? Look at your people through parliaments; beginning from morning up to evening they are speaking countless speeches! Why are you not preventing them and why are you not saying, “This is bid`ah wa haraam?” If a person is saying as-salaatu wa salaam `alayka, yaa Rasoolullah, you are saying it is bid’ah, haraam. Or if a group of people are sitting around Ka`aba Mu`azamah, why are you preventing that? From what book are you getting this? From where are you learning this? It is not true knowledge.

In a Hadith Nabawi ash-Shareef, the Prophet (pbuh) is saying that if a person is saying through his heart, Allah, Allah, Allah, Shaytan is running away from his heart. If a person leaves saying, Allah, Allah Allah,” Shaytan is coming and putting its trunk in his heart and he is beginning to call, “Shaytan, Shaytan, Shaytan, my Shaytan, my friend, O Shaytan best friend for me.” They are accepting this and they are saying anything? But those who are saying, Allah, Allah, Allah, Allah. Allah, Allah, Allah, Allah. Allah, Allah, Allah, Allah SubhanAllah, Huuuuu,” why are they preventing this? The Prophet (s) is saying that if a person is going to be heedless, Shaytan is putting its trunk through that one’s heart and making tawshish, cheating and putting another dirty thoughts through that one’s heart, and that one is going to sink under the Oceans of Heedlessness.

O People! Hear, listen and obey! Try to give much more time for dhikr. Dhikr is one of 54 fard, obligations. When you are taking this away, there are only 53 remaining. When you are getting it to be down, getting it to be less, then your imaan, faith, is like a hole protecting who is in it, then you may fall under ruins when you leave saying, Allah, Allah. Whoever is saying, Allah, Allah, Allah, Allah, is going to be in safety here and Hereafter. Fire is never going to burn who is saying, Allah, Allah, Allah, Allah. Allah, Allah, Allah, Allah. Allah, Allah, Allah, Allah. Allah, Allah Aziz Allah. Fire is never approaching them. Nothing is disturbing that person. It can’t disturb.

O People! O Listeners! Give time for dhikr of Allah, Allah, Allah. If you would like to live a happy and an honored life, through this life and the Next Life, do much more dhikr! Say:

Allah Allah, Allah Allah, Allah Allah, `Azeez Allah

Allah Allah, Allah Allah, Allah Allah, Kareem Allah

Make dhikr. Every heaviness that is just put on your shoulders through shaytanic thoughts and thinking, they are going to melt and give you your original creation. Our original creation that belongs, one of it is here for this life and another one, our real being, it will be dressed on those who were with their Lord the whole of this life, and they are coming to the Day of Resurrection with a dress that is honored; a dressing in which they will reach a high, respectful position here and Hereafter. If you are not doing, you know, you know!

This is only a short and humble association. You may reach up to morning or you may reach up to evening, or next week. This gives to you which thing that you are needy through this life and how you may reach a heavenly honor through this association.

May Allah forgives us.

O people, as-salaamu ` alaykum! O listeners, don’t be heedless. Be awakened. That is your honor. As long as you are awakened, you are going to be dressed in the dress of honor, and as much as you are doing dhikr, also you are going to be dressed in honor in the Divine Presence. May Allah forgive us.

O People! Try to clean you hearts from this dunya’s dirty aspects. What have you been granted from your Lord and have been given for your Lord’s honor, for that you are going to be made happy here and Hereafter.

Dome Dome, Dome Dome, Dome Dome, Dome Dome 4x

O Allah! Forgive us for the honor of most distinguished one through the whole of Creation, Sayyidina Muhammad (Peace & Blessing Upon Him)!

Al Fatiha

llluminate Your Heart!

Sultan ul Awliya Shaykh Muhammad Nazim Adil Q.S (Alyaa Rehma),

Lecture dated: 01.01.1996, Lefke, Cyprus

Allah is the only Sultan. He never likes things which are artificial or official. Governments may be official, but religions cannot. But nowadays Christianity is an official religion. Islam is an official religion. Judaism is official. The other religions we do not accept as being religions. We only accept the ones which belong to Heavens, and after Islam no new religion does.

Religions have to be above anything official. The official people must be under the command of religion, not the other way around. Anything official will destroy the sincerity. Official imams, official priests and official rabbis cannot give anything. Do you think that plastic grapes or oranges will give you any taste? That is the main problem and it is waiting for a solution.

Religious decisions and authority cannot be left in the hands of people who come here to the university to make their doctor degrees. These people are too big to even be able to enter the doors of synagogues, churches or mosques. They have got so many official artificial hormones that they can hardly move because they need such big places. They are growing in such an ugly way: they are getting fat, their backs are looking very strange, their heads are getting smaller, their stomach bigger. Their mind is getting smaller, they cannot think about anything but themselves.

People are running from here to there asking their Lord for something. They must realise that they cannot take any benefit from someone who is official. Anything official kills the sincerity. When people lose the sincere people within religions, they will start running after the official ones who cannot make them content and reach peace.

A hundred years ago these same words were spoken and people started crying. That is how affected they were. Nowadays people escape. They do not want to hear it. In the 19th century words from religious people still had an impact.

What happened? People of the 19th century were still sincere. When something comes from the heart it will go to the heart. If it comes from your lips it will go nowhere. It is our sincere belief that when we ask sincerely, He will send. But people now are accustomed to plastic flowers in their homes which is why the gardener doesn’t bother to plant any roses or any other flowers. People only want appearances. If you try to smell them, it is like thorns touching your nose.

For millions and billions of years angels have been glorifying their Lord. He created everything for Muhammad*. He created mankind for him. He ordered the angels to be residents of Heavens and to give their glory to him. Adam was created for him and was given his divine lights. All this because Muhammad* is the first and the last creation in the Divine Presence to be mentioned as His servant and His prophet. He is the main treasure. Every creature takes his grant from what he was given.

Oh people, servants of the Lord of Heavens! He has endless armies of every kind. Our humble glory be to Him. Everyone is glorifying the Lord. He is the only One Who is glorified. He has endless, countless glory oceans. Whatever you try to give Him, even if every creature on earth and in Heavens would gather, it would only be like a needle in an endless ocean, compared to His endless ocean. Mankind has been honoured in such a great way. They must give their obedience to their Lord and they must do it through him, Muhammad*, who has been glorified. He is the most Glorified One.

That is real contentment which can take away every kind of sadness from our heart. It illuminates our hearts in a way that darkness cannot enter. The disease of the century is that the hearts of people are depressed. It is a result of darkness within the hearts of people. When the light is extinguished in the heart, it will be dark and people will be hopeless, full of fear and depressed.

Only glorifying your Lord can take the darkness away from your heart. It will dress you with lights in your heart. If you do not feel like it in your home, then run to the countryside or to deserts or jungles, to silent places. Glorify Him and you will see that the depression will leave you quickly. It will run away from you and ask for help to be saved from you! That is the cure for depression. You may be a Christian, a Jew or a Muslim, you can glorify with any of the Holy Words which are in the Holy Books. You will find a cure quickly and will enjoy being alive. Sadness will escape. Nothing can disturb you. You will be protected by the lights of glorification.

Oh people, don’t waste your precious time with useless actions. Try to have something which will give you honour, glory, satisfaction and contentment here and hereafter. That is if you like! If you don’t care, every curse will run on you, you will suffer. Protect your heart by glorifying. If you do not take care of that, so many devils will run to you and disturb you. Everyone of them speaks in another way and will put a new sword through your heart. They will disturb you in every way and only escape by you glorifying. Don’t forget!

If anyone would hear the beautiful sounds of the angels who are glorifying the Lord in the Seven Heavens, they would fall down dead. That is how beautiful it is. May Allah let us hear. When Mehdi comes our ears will be clean. Now we have too much dirt locking our ears from hearing the sounds of the angels glorifying the Lord in Heaven. Try to clean them from early morning until late at night. But instead people put more and more dirt into their ears by listening to modern music making them unable to hear. At the time of dawn some people can have the chance in the Night of Power to hear just one second of that Divine sound. It is a good advice for everyone to pray every morning before Fajr, “Subhana Rabbi-l wal hamdi, subhan alathi wa’staghir’ullah…”

When you start doing such a glorification sincerely, you will not want to stop. Do this 100 times between sunna and fard prayers in the morning. It will give you support. Your soul will be happy and light. If any wants the Doors of Paradise to be opened for them, they should say, “Al hamdulillah”. If they want the doors of hell to be closed for them, they may say, “Astarhfir’ullah”.

Al Fatiha

Lesson: 04

You don’t give drugs to a hungry donkey Or Depression is a spiritual problem

Lecture by Sultan ul Awliya Shaykh Muhammad Nazim Adil Al Haqqani Q.S (Alyaa Rehma), Lecture dated: 22.10.07, Lefke, Cyprus

As-salamu alaikum wa rahmatullah wa barakatuh!

Audhu bi-llahi mina shaitani rajim, Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim, la haula wa la quwatta illa bi-llahi-l ’Aliyu-l ’Adhim!

By the Name of Allah Almighty, All-Merciful, Most Beneficent and Most Magnificent!

Welcome to you!

(Sheikh is making a short Dhikr using

Allah ya Daim…

Allah ya Jalil…

Allah Dhul Jalal…

Subhan Allah, Sultan Allah…

Subhan Sensin, Sultan Sensin…

Ma sha Allah! Ma sha Allah!

Every time you may do Dhikr, (it is) as (with) a tree: When it is dry and (you are) giving (it) water, how (it is) opening, we also; every time that we are making Dhikr, from heavenly Rains (it is) raining on ourselves, making ourselves to be enough powerful for everything, for every attack of Shaitan! Therefore don’t forget! Must be your tongue wet with Dhikrullah!

Welcome to you!

Anything to say, Sheikh Abdul H.? he was in (the) forest with Ahmad K., making Dhikr and a big beast (was) coming in front of them, like (a) cat sitting (down) in front of them, like this…understand?… Sheikh Abdul H.… (a) beast, (a) lion, (was) coming, when they are making Dhirk through (the) jungle, coming and sitting… looking…Kiss his hand!… Where

is Ahmad K.? (In Dubai) Never asking me…

Ya Rabbi, Shukr! Welcome to you! Welcome to those people, who are asking to be welcomed from Heavens. You are coming to a meeting that this meeting (is) only for last day… This is a meeting for Allah. You are coming from long distances, to reach some spirituality, because spirituality (is) making you to stand up and to be able to do something for Allah. It is not easy for anyone to make heavenly Service, without reaching such a spiritual meetings.

May be our attenders one person, two persons, more or less, but all of them they are asking Allah Almighty’s Pleasure. Who (is) asking Allah Almighty’s Pleasure, (is) getting up and going with pleasure. “Al jazau min jinsi-l amal”. You are trying to make your Lord Allah Almighty pleased with you, you are trying to send (to) His divinely Presence pleasure, and Allah Almighty (is) returning, what you are sending.

You are sending according to your size and Allah Almighty no size! Can’t be! Who is going to be from eternal up to eternal, how you are asking (about a) size for Him- audhu bi-llah! You are sending according to your size a pleasure, you are trying to make your Creator, your Lord, Lord of Heavens, Lord of Creation, you are trying to send pleasure.

An ant, what (it is) bringing to a thirsty person? But… an ant, if running to a thirsty person and it is saying: “Just I am running to make that thirsty person to be free from thirstiness and to reach a pleasure and to make him happy, because he is so thirsty one, I must reach to him!” What reaching, what he, it, can bring to you? If one billon ants (are) bringing (water), only it can be one billion ‘zarra’, atoms, or more or less; (and) if you are collecting one billon ants’ water through your mouth, do you think that a thirsty person (is) going to be satisfied? It is impossible, but that one (is) just (going to be) rewarded through its intention and through its efforts that (it was) running to save a thirsty person.

And we also; according to our sizes, what we can send to (the) divinely Presence from our effort that we are doing? Only our intention to make our Lord pleased with us!

And Allah Almighty (is) rewarding back and saying: “Grant, o my Angels, to My servants, whom they are asking to make Me pleased and they are sending their pleasure to Me, make their lives to be in happiness, in peace, in pleasure, in satisfaction, in honour!” That is. What we are doing, what we can send? Zero, under zero! But the Lord of Heavens (is) going to be happy with us, pleased with us, and (the) most important thing for man through his life (is) to try to send more pleasure from himself, from herself, from itself, from themselves to (the) divine Presence so Allah Almighty (is) saying: “Oh! My creature (is) just sending to Me, as it can do, he can do, she can do, pleasure to Me!”

People now living in fire, (the) fire of Hells, no pleasure. They may have billions or trillions Dollars or Euros or Pounds, but that (is) never bringing to a person a pleasure, no, perhaps (it is) making them much more to be sad. No pleasure, because always they are thinking: “Tomorrow what is going to happen? May be a flood and may take my treasures… may be (an) earthquake and making everything from my so big buildings to be on earth…may touch to my skyscraper towers, may touch something like this and in seconds it is going to disappear…”

Therefore you can’t find anyone from those people (to be in peace)… May be President and may say: “Today I am President, tomorrow I don’t know what is going to happen. Perhaps people (are) saying ‘We don’t like such a President’ or they (are) becoming a crowing and saying that: ‘We don’t like an opposition’; people may come, may carry our power, we are remaining without anything…”

Such a thinking is giving to them sadness. They are not happy, no, because: “May be I may sleep through my home and may reach morning (to be) in prison. Or may be sleeping in my house now, tomorrow morning may be I am buried in a graveyard.” Therefore they (are) never going to be happy, they (are) never reaching any satisfaction or pleasure or pleasement through their lives, because they have only material aspects. Soo much, but never (that is) giving to them a pleasure.

But if a person (is) trying to do something, observing that: “If I am doing his, maybe my Creator, my Lord, going to be happy with my effort, with my doings”, he may be in pleasure! Yes, everything that you are making, doing for your Lords Glory, you should reach much more pleasure from Allah Almighty, much more pleasement from Allah Almighty, much more satisfaction! Much more lightening, much more glory, much more honour from His divinely Presence (is going to be) granted to you!

But people, they are ‘jahil’, ignorant; they are thinking that their level (is the) highest level through centuries, but they are fully wrong ones! Because they (are) never taking any care for their Lords pleasure, or pleasement, never (it is) going to be (possible for them) through this life to reach a pleasure or to reach a pleasement, no.

That is (the) biggest ‘bela’, cursing for them; because they forget their Lord, their Creator, and they also just forget their Lords pleasure for them, and then this darkness (is) covering them. Therefore now (there is) just increasing a kind of illness- really it is not (an) illness, (because) illness that belongs to your physical being-depression.

Depression it is a new ‘illness’, but it is not really an illness (because illness) belongs to our physical being, it is something else. And psychology people now their number (is) growing, growing, growing, because people, their depression (is) growing up. And those psychologists or such a people, they are not reaching to make something with them, only they are saying: “Use this!” What is: ‘Use this’? It is not something from (the) material world, no, it is something in our lives (that) belongs to our spiritual being and for spiritual restlessness you can’t make a treatment with material medicine. But they (are) also never knowing about this, and (they are) saying: “Take this! Take this, to make your nerves (calm)…” making it…

Think, for example: If a donkey is shouting and never resting, what about, if you are not giving to that donkey barley or wheat or corns and you are saying: “O my brother!”

“Do you think that I am brother?” “I think that you are my brother in law…” Tauba, Astaghfirullah… “What is matter of yourself that you are always shouting ‘iaaah’?”

“O my master, even I don’t know…” “Let me to give to you some medicine, to make you silent, giving to you rest…” “Eh, we may try…”

(And he is) giving to (that) donkey some (of) this medicine…what is the name of this?… Drugs! (All of you like that donkey…!) Drugs! Saying: “O my Darling, I may give to you a kind medicine that makes you to be calm and after a while you are not going to be able to be on your legs, you must sit down… After, another pill from drugs I am giving you, making more powerful drug, and you should feel that you can’t be able to open your eyes and your are going to sleep, taking your rest…”

And (that) donkey needs barley, (tht) donkey is hungry! It is not in need for drugs, it needs barley, because it is hungry! When he is hungry, (he is) getting to be angry, when (he is) angry, (he is) shouting and kicking, who (is) coming (nearby to him)! And coming that vet- ya Hu- (he is) never understanding the reason of donkey why (it is) shouting, crying and kicking! They are thinking that it is something wrong from its nervous system and it can’t be able to say: “I am hungry!”

And those people now in our time that (it is) increasing that depression… Day by day (it is) increasing, and those psychiatrists (are) saying: “Don’t worry, I shall give to you a very good” – drug not saying, pill- “I shall give (you) a pill. Use it morning once, evening once. If it is not getting a good result, make it two-two. If (there is) no real result, make it 3-3 and if not good, make it 5-5…” And finally (he is saying): “Make it 1o…” Haaaaa… falling, passing away… “Oh, now you are reached real rest, my friend! O my Darling, you passed away…vai,

vai, vai…!”

(They are) not asking what is (the)real reason from depression!

Yesterday (in) a newspaper I am looking there it is written: ‘Stress’- Turks (are) saying ‘stress’- Stress- no treatment: “No treatment for stress.” I am saying: “Why?” Why? Because you are using something that it is not for that illness! It is something not from your material being coming, but it is something that our spirituality (is) giving trouble, because you are not giving anything, you never taking any care for your spirituality, therefore it is going to be ‘stress’ or ‘depression’.

Saying one lady (who was) writing this article that: ‘No any treatment for stress’. That is their knowledge that reached there! As we said now: (the) donkey is hungry and shouting and kicking, (and) they are saying: “O my friend, don’t be worried, I am giving (you) something to make you to be rest, happy! Take this!” Taking and sleeping a little bit, then awakening…

That is (the) treatment of psychologist people now, because they are using something from (the) material world for (the) treatment of spiritual problems.

And they are doing big sentences (centers), carrying people for treatment. So many Europeans (are) coming and saying to me: “My son (is) in such a center.” Because he was using big amounts from drugs, therefore they are taking and imprisoning him in a big place and not giving, making that drugs-dosage down, down, down… then sending him away. And it is not true!

May come here some people, so many people (are) coming, they are drug-addicts; (and they are) coming and leaving and going! Because the Lord of Heavens He is (the) only One who (is) knowing about yourself and (He is) sending (knowledge) to His Prophet and His Prophet sws (is) teaching, how they should treat such a people!

(The) first reason (that is) bringing that big problems from youngsters (is) that they are not believing in anything. That (is) making them to fall in a deepless well and to fall in a darkness place, (so that) they are not knowing (their) left hand from (their) right hand.

That is.

Therefore we are trying through this small and humble association, so humble meeting, to make people to believe that: If you are not going to make pleased your Lord, you can’t reach a pleasement! If you are not trying to make your Lord in pleasure, (there will be) no pleasure for you with any material aspects! Therefore we are saying: “O people, try to do something for the Lord of Heavens! Nothing from Dunya aspects may save you, no!”

(There is) no pleasure for mankind, if they are not trying to make their Lord pleased with them! Or, if they are not sending a pleasement to your Lord, (they) can’t be to be in pleasure or in satisfaction!

That is (a) very important speech, keep it! From East to West, from North to South, (the) whole world people must know this! This is a reality: You can’t treat something that belongs to our spirituality with material drugs- finished!

May Allah forgive us! Aman, ya Rabbi! Tauba, ya Rabbi! Please, ya Rabbana, keep ourselves, not to fall in such a terrible whirlpool! If not, no hope…That is only- for saving people from every crisis, from every badness-: People must come and must listen and must follow heavenly Directions- finished!

Don’t ask wars, fightings- (they are) never bringing any good result, no, finished! Don’t think on it, to change (the) government- opposition or other people, governing body, governing party… (The) opposition (is) saying: “You are wrong”; if they are coming (into power), (the) others should say: “You are wrong also” and that fighting (is) going on. It is impossible, no rest, because people (are) going now to be into two groups:

One group (is) saying: “We are right”, another group (is) saying: “You are wrong”- it is impossible! Birbirbirbirbir… speaking, speaking, speaking…! You are opening that shaitanic instrument, looking (that) everyone (is) speaking, speaking, speaking… What is the benefit, what (it is) bringing to people? (Is it) bringing to them a safety, a safe life, a save future? No! They must come to Allah Almighty’s heavenly Orders! If not, they should be taken away…

May Allah forgive us and bless us! For the honour of the most honoured one S.Muhammad sws, Fatiha.

Allahumma salli wa sallim ‘ala, Nabiyina Muhammad alayhi salam,

Salatan tadumu wa tuhda ilay, mamarra layali wa tula dawam.

Al Fatiha

Dala’ilu l-Khayrat

Lecture by Sultan ul Awliya Mawalna Shaykh Muhammad Nazim Adil Al Haqqani Q.S (Alyaa Rehma),

Lecture dated: November 11, 2012, Lefke – Cyprus

They (ladies) should not cut their hair. They will look like unbelievers. Even the unbelievers, the old unbelievers would braid their hair- one braid for the Greeks & Muslims had two braids. And my grandmother would wear her scarf like this. But all the women now mess with their hair, they have gone bald. This is an instruction, an order- women should not cut their hair. If they do, they will not find any comfort in their graves. They should braid their hair; Muslims make two braids & the Christians, one braid. This is an instruction coming to me. I declare it. Whoever likes may keep it. May who doesn’t keep it go bald.

I read Dala’ilu-l Khayrat. I have always read Dala’ilu-l Khayrat, for 70 years, but it has not opened to me like it did now when I read it, Dala’ilu-l Khayrat. Astonishing! May Allah sanctify his secret, Imam al-Jazuli Hz. Masha Allah, they are dragons. They are the ones who are formed by love & yearning for the Prophet (Peace & Blessing Upon Him). These people now lost that respect & love for theProphet (sas) & fell into troubles. The respect & love of the Prophet (Peace & Blessing Upon Him) does not let troubles reach people. The respect & love for the Prophet (Peace & Blessing Upon Him) protects in dunya & in akhirah, and grants

them levels but people have lost this now. They read newspapers. They watch movies. It gives them no benefit. They are in great pain & suffering. Their misery reached a point where they can’t take anymore & they started saying “may we die & be saved from it”. May Allah not make us from them. Allahu Akbar.

Dala’ilu-l Khayrat has not opened to me before like it did this time I read it. Astonishing, astonishing. They think of it as an ordinary book. The Imam wrote this with heavenly inspirations, Imam al-Jazuli Hz. What an astonishing book, collection, this is. Therefore all mashayikhs order the reading of Dala’ilu – read the Dala’ilu & save yourself. Aman ya Rabbi, how beautiful is this Dala’ilu. We are not able to see its meanings yet. When we read Dala’ilu, we can’t see, we don’t know its meanings. But the one who knows enjoys the taste of it in a much different way. Astonishing. Are you reading Dala’ilu?

G. I am.

M. Read, be careful to read it. Astonishing, Imam al-Jazuli Hz. And his story is from your Haji Anne, how beautiful. And this Dala’ilu has this thick commentary book in Turkish, by Kara Dawood. It is a book like this, it is thick like this. But there is so much in it.. Allahu Akbar! We have wasted our life- not being aware of anything. We struggled with unnecessary things.. Aman Ya Rabbi, tawba ya Rabbi, tawba.. It is opening in this holy month of Muharram. It is opening, opening.. I would like to see those holy ones, join their holy assemblies & listen to them, glorify them. But how can people like us reach them? Men like me, trash level.

G. Astaghfirullah.

Wa min Allah at-tawfiq,

Al Fatiha.

The holy ones, the awliyas, all of them read it. Who doesn’t read Dala’ilu has no love, no passion, no perfection of faith. They are all dry, like kadid/dried meat. Therefore you should read the Dala’ilu. If a person reads Dala’ilu, no trouble comes on him. Definitely it does not come. Dala’ilu-l Khayrat, who knows how to read it should read & who doesn’t know should listen in the gathering.

Al Fatiha

Heavenly Honey

Sultan ul Awliya Shaykh Muhammad Nazim Adil Al Haqqani Q.S (Alyaa Rehma),

Lecture dated: 31.01.2014

Lefke – Cyprus

As-salamu alaikum to those present. Ey yaran Shahi Mardan. Welcome. May Janab Allah fill our hearts with the love of His beloved one. May our hearts be content. Welcome. Ey yaran Shahi Mardan. Allahu Akbar Allahu Akbar Allahu Akbar wa lillahi l-hamd. You are the Subhan Ya Rabb. Marhaba. Marhaba.

Ey yaran. Marhaba. Even the angels will say marhaba to the believers in paradise. How beautiful. May Allah also grant us this.

Let’s ask for beautiful things, Sh Mehmet Effendi, beautiful things. What is beautiful? All that is acceptable to our Lord is beautiful. Our Lord, our Subhan, our Sultan. May He increase our strength and power. May He increase our love. Madad ya RijalAllah. May Allah not put us with the lazy ones. Let’s not be lazy.

MashaAllah. Thanks to Allah, hamdu thana (all praise).

Our new day, Sh Mehmet Effendi, our son, our new day! Yawmun jadeed rizqun jadeed. (New day, new provision) Rich ones don’t give the same thing. No. Nor do sultans give the same. What comes down from heavens every day is also new. Everyday fresh. Everyday beautiful. To do sajda to our Lord, to show respect to our Lord, to glorify, to praise His greatness how beautiful that is.

Marhaba ey yaran. Marhaba to those seeking Allah’s path. Allah Jalla wa ‘Ala grants us blessings everyday.

May our strength and power increase. May our strength be on the way of Allah. Our strength is for our Lord. Let’s not fall down. Madad O holy ones, O those holy ones seeking Allah’s path. Ey yaran Shahi Mardan. Shahi Mardan – O highly esteemed servant of Allah, Marhaba. Marhaba. Marhaba here and marhaba hereafter. Shukur Allah that He’s made us reach to today. ?InshaAllah our son Sh Mehmet Effendi hz., with our young Mehmet may your day be full of contentment.

Let’s not carry any sadness. Let’s carry contentment. When Allahu Akbar is said, may our hearts open up.

Let’s be happy. How beautiful! New day, new manifestation. Today is Friday of the holy month of Rabiul Awwal. We wish that on this new Jumaa day new strength of faith, dress of faith, contentment of faith, light of faith, is dressed on us. This is what we wish. We want to stay at the gate of Rasulu Kibriya and not be expelled. Let’s do deeds so Rasulu Kibriya approves of us. He likes us. Do deeds that he will like. Deeds that Rasulu Kibriya will like. Our master will say – “Well done”. Awliyas will say “well done”. When they say “well done”, our bodies get strong, our faith becomes strong, our light increases, our happiness, contentment increases. May Allah Jalla Jalaluhu place us among those happy servants.

Let’s be content Sh Mehmet Effendi. We are in the ummah of the Beloved one. Why search for contentment other than this? Why seek more than to be of the ummah (Nation) of the Master of the Universe? May Allah give our hearts strength. May He give strength to our faith, strength to follow Your ways and to live for You. O our Lord, Your beloved one has accepted us, grant us blessings so we can follow the path of Your beloved one.

May the noor of our faces increase. Noor descends everyday. Seek noor. Seek Noor not Naar (fire). Don’t run to fire. This world is fire. No use for anything – it means “edna”; most rubbish thing. Rabbul Izzat did not even look at it once, at this world. Hasha! Janab-i Haq has no need to look at it.

O our Lord; O Great Prophet give us strength for the love of yaran Shahi Mardan. Keep us on Your straight path. Let us run after Your love. Let us run after Your beloved one. May our hearts open up, be content. Let’s run to our Lord. Let’s run after His beloved one. MashaAllah. You are our Lord. This takes away all troubles. Allah does not give trouble to His servants. Hasha! He grants contentment to His servants for the barakat of His beloved one. Be content for we are among the ummah of His beloved one.

Man needs to know his honour. He needs to know what to seek, to run after. Don’t work for this rubbish world. O our Lord, My Mawla, the One who raises the sun, may our hearts shine with the noor of faith.

Don’t run after the world. Run after the way of His beloved one. O our Lord keep us straight on the path of the beloved one. “Yuthabbitu Allahu ladhina amanu bilqawli ththabit fee lhayati d-dunya wa fi lakhirat” (14:27) Is this how the ayat is? “Yuthabbitu Allahu ladhina amanu bilqawli ththabit” (14:27) “Allah keeps firm those who believe”. Without that footing you cannot step into the heavens. Allahu Akbar Allahu Akbar Let’s say Allahu Akbar wa lillahi l-hamd and start our association.

Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. Allahu Akbar. He lifts up all burdens. Our deeds become “kun fayakun” my son. You become a roaring lion. Don’t be like a lazy cat, be a roaring lion. Ya. The ummah of the Beloved one are like roaring lions, full of honour and noor. All beautiful attributes are on them. O our Lord, keep us straight on the beautiful path of the Beloved one. No burdens will remain in our body. Our eyes won’t seek this world. Allahu Akbar Allahu Akbar wa lillahi l-hamd. Look at the heavens. Try to take from the heavens. The Earth is rubbish. Heaven is the jewel. They say look at the heavens. May Allah keep us among His accepted servants. May we walk at the feet of His Beloved one.

Al Fatiha.

Those following the path of the yaran don’t get sick. Their illnesses are not real. Allahu Akbar Allahu Akbar Allahu Akbar wa lillahi l-hamd. Always make the Takbir, our son Sh Mehmet Effendi and also our younger son. Whatever you see; say Allahu Akbar Allahu Akbar Allahu Akbar wa lillahi l-hamd, You are a lion! Allahu Dhul Jalal, made us from the ummah of His Beloved one. Let’s say – Allahumma Salli ala Sayyidina Muhammad wa ala alihi wa sahbihi – so all of our troubles disappear. All of our worries go away. Nothing is left to upset us. We open up like a lion. Our news reaches to the heavens. May they say “This servant is the one following the ways of the heavenly lions.” May Allah grant you this. May your face smile and your heart be content. May all your endeavor be worship.

Al Fatiha

Wherever you turn, it’s the rubbish of this world, rubbish. Don’t run after it. Don’t run after rubbish. May Allah keep us away from rubbish. It’s a mistake to say Allah for this. There are garbage men, rubbish collectors. They keep rubbish away. Run after the jewels (the essence). Say ‘Allah’ so the Earth and Heavens are shaken. Allahu Akbar Allahu Akbar Allahu Akbar wa lillahi l-hamd. Fatiha.

Eat from the honey of Heaven don’t look at the earthly one. Eat from the honey of the heavens. That is what suits the son of Adam. Keep eating that one. Our Lord, may the burdens on us be lifted. May our children have strength; the Ummah of Muhammad open up. May we receive power to defeat shaytan. Bi hurmatil Habib, bi hurmatil Fatiha.

They make a fake honey, Sh Mehmet Effendi. And also there is the one bees make. The one bees make is this one. Eat so you become a lion. O our Lord, may the depression on us be lifted. May you receive power. May your love increase, my son. Let’s live for the sake of Allah and Rasulu Kibriya. Let us walk on the path of the awliyas. O Ummuhan Sultan, protect us. Protect us.

Al Fatiha

Our Master’s Way

Lecture by Sultan ul Awliya Shaykh Muhammad Nazim Adil Q.S (Alyaa Rehma),

Lecture dated: 30.03.2014

Lefke – Cyprus

Marhaba O Yaran, lovers of Shah Mardan. The holy ones who are on the way of Shah Mardan, Marhaba, welcome to you. How nice, how nice it is. Marhaba, welcome to our assembly, my son. May our assembly be a blessed one, may it be a beautiful assembly, a joyful one, an honorable one. Utmost love and respect for the Prince of creation, our Master (Peace & Blessing Upon Him).

Marhaba O Yaran/lovers of Shah Mardan. Shah Mardan, a lion, the lion of the Prophet (Peace & Blessing Upon Him) is saying “Marhaba”. May that marhaba be dressed on us. May it dress us with well being. O Yaran/lovers, those who love Shah Mardan, those who love Shah Mardan, those who are following his holy footsteps, they are honorable. Welcome to our assembly. May our assembly be honored. May our assembly carry the scent of the assembly of the Pride of all creation (Peace & Blessing Upon Him). May we gain strength, may we gain power. Our Master is the Pride of all creation. May our assembly be pure. May our work be pure. May all our affairs be pleasing to our Prophet (Peace & Blessing Upon Him)

O glorious Prophet (Peace & Blessing Upon Him). How nice is our glorious Prophet (Peace & Blessing Upon Him). To be able to follow the footsteps of the glorious Prophet is such an honorable thing. Wa attabi’ sabila man anaba ilayya – “Follow the path of him who turns to Me in repentance & obedience” (31:15) How happy for those who are following My footsteps. They do not get tired. They don’t tire. Their love and longing increases because their efforts are for Allah. It is for the sake of Allah. Those who work for Allah, everything they do is beautiful and righteous and pleasant and honorable. Those who walk in their footsteps are honorable.

What is honor? What is honor? Honor does not come by means of worldly possessions. No, not at all. O our Lord, our Subhan, to be in Your Presence, to be with those who are in Your Presence – that is honor. There is no honor other than that. Not at all. To be with those holy ones gives man strength, it gives man mightiness, it gives man honor, it gives man devotion. Those who say “Allah, Allah” find honor. O our Lord, how happy for those who keep the dhikr/remembrance of the Beloved Habib. How happy for the servants who behold the Magnificent Ka’aba. If only we could be from them. They have no distress. They do not get distressed. They do not get distressed for dunya/this world.

What is dunya? It is filth. Dunya is not something honorable that you should be sad. No. Why become sad? Why suffer because of dunya? It is empty. Look at what is full. Behold the Magnificent Ka’aba. May it come to us; may the beautiful air of the Magnificent Ka’aba come to us so that our bodies will be refreshed. May our bodies be refreshed with the dhikr/remembrance of our Lord. And you will have no worries. No worries. Full of joy, your face will fill with joy. Let’s go to the Magnificent Ka’aba. The Magnificent House, let’s go there. Let’s visit and behold. The Magnificent House, let’s breathe its air. Allah Allah.

Prophet Ibrahim alayhi s-salam, built it, with Allah Dhul Jalal’s order, he built Baytullah/Allah’s House. Why don’t you build a bayt/house too. Prophet Ibrahim did it, ‘ala Nabina alayhi s-salatu wa s-salam. You make one too. You make one also. Why don’t you build one? You build on this earth, you build palaces, you fill them with different types of decorated things, but they have no value. Why don’t you try and build something like Baytullah?

O Allah, may our hearts be joyful. May our hearts be happy, may we gain strength. May we become stronger in Allah’s Way, my son. Those who follow Allah’s Way do not get tired. Those on Allah’s way do not get distressed. Those on Allah’s way don’t get fed up. Aman ya Rabbi. Those who are on the way to Your Magnificent House are happy and joyful. What a beautiful Baytullah it is. What a beautiful journey it is to run and visit Baytullah. If only we could go on this beautiful journey and wipe our faces on the path that goes to the Magnificent Ka’aba. May it be written for us too, so we can be refreshed, so our love and longing will increase.

To go to that beautiful Ka’aba doesn’t make us disgraceful. You won’t be downtrodden. Those who are going (to Ka’aba) are not made disgraceful. It means those going on Allah’s way do not become downtrodden. Your belongings found in your houses and palaces don’t give you honor. No. The clothes you wear don’t give you honor. Nothing.

O our Lord, You are Subhan. May each step be for You, O our Mawla. Prophet Ibrahim ‘ala Nabina alayhi s-salatu wa s-salam, he placed one stone on top of another stone for Allah. O holy Prophet. Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar. What does that mean? You should also place your footsteps for Allah. Don’t be afraid. Don’t fear. You won’t be distressed, you won’t be troubled. O Allah our Lord, we want to be on Your way. Let’s be on our Almighty Mawla’s way. There is no life other than that. A clean, pure life. That is the pure life. Walk on the path of a pure life. The paths of satan are many. Those who went on satan’s path became wretched. Every person who entered satan’s way became contemptible. Satan made them downcast. And so the people of today have become wretched. They don’t know what they want nor what they are doing. They don’t know what to do nor where to go.

May Allah accept us. It isn’t right for us to ask Allah to accept us. No. A magnificent Ka’aba was built there. If that Baytullah accepts you, then the biggest honor is for you. You won’t be oppressed or distressed, you won’t suffer. You won’t be distressed. Let’s say – Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. You won’t have any worries or troubles left. You will have joy, you will become happy. This is Bismillah Sharifa, it gives refreshment. You will be refreshed, my son, you will become a lion. The Magnificent House. Allahu Akbar. May Allah Almighty, our Lord, grant us that joy. May the joy of visiting and beholding the Magnificent Ka’aba come upon us. We will have no troubles or worries, my son.

The concerns of the people of dunya are only eating, drinking. Is there anything else? The job of the people of dunya is to eat, drink, and fill the WC. Astaghfirullah. No. We were not created for this. This is not our job. No. Asta’idhu billah “Wa Ma Khalaqtu l-Jinna Wa l-insa illa liya’buduni” (51:56) “I created men & jinn for My servanthood.” Aman ya Rabbi Tawba Astaghfirullah. Tawba Astaghfirullah. O our Lord, let’s understand. Send us holy servants who will explain to us. May those like Shah Mardan come. May we be beautiful, may we be joyful, may we be proud, may we be glorious, may we be distinct. O our Lord, may everything be for You, and for Your Beloved Habib. May we follow his steps. Wa min Allahi t-tawfiq. Al Fatiha

May we be refrashed. Walk the path of our Master and the path of his companions, and don’t fear, don’t be afraid. Don’t live for dunya. Dunya will be given to you, but you should know how to use it. May our hearts open up and be refreshed. Refreshed on the inside and the outside, my son. Dunya has no beauty. What does it have? It has burdens. It makes you carry burdens, nothing else. Use dunya for Allah. Don’t keep it, set forth, don’t fear. O our Lord, we are Your weak servants. Our Mawla who created heavens and earth. Even if we eat bread and olives… it was so nice in the past – “Wa t-tini wa z-zaytun” (95:1) How nice.

And now we left all that and we are doing different types of nonsense things. No. Eat bread and olives. How nice. You won’t have any troubles. Dip your bread in olive oil and eat. It is a remedy, it gives you strength and healing. You won’t need a doctor nor any medicine.

Let’s understand. Let’s understand. May we understand. Our Lord has granted us a good life, for the sake of His Beloved Habib (Peace & Blessing Upon Him). Let’s step and walk in his footsteps, that glorious Prophet. Say – O glorious Prophet. Let’s step and walk in the blessed footsteps that our Glorious Prophet walked. How beautiful, how honorable. How nice to follow the footsteps of our Prophet (Peace & Blessing Upon Him), my son.

Al Fatiha

Inn Sha Allah we won’t be tired. We will open up, we will be refreshed.

A Person’s Value Corresponds to the Value he assigns to his Time

Lecture by Sultan ul Awliya Shaykh Muhammad Nazim Adil Q.S (Alyaa Rehma),

Lecture dated: January 01, 1987, Lefke – Cyprus

Time is the “Hand of Allah”: it moves everything along its course towards its ordained destination. Some are able to comprehend the purport of the passage of time, and observe it with the eye of wisdom. Such people deal with time by grasping the reins of each passing day, utilizing their God-given vision to move their lives in the right direction.

Others perceive time in a distorted manner, like a person looking at a convex or a concave mirror. This malady of perception occurs because they are not reconciled to the “Hand of God”, haven’t understood the reason why God has confined us to the realm of time and space. He intends thereby only to give us a chance to perfect ourselves, to acquire Divine Attributes through our own efforts in a difficult situation, and thus prepare ourselves for the day of our reunion with our Lord.

In a Holy Tradition the Lord said: “The Children of Adam curse time, and I am time. In My Hand is the passage of day and night”.

For those who have not yet understood this truth, time seems to behave in an erratic and disturbing way. The effect of this is to draw our attention to the need to change ourselves to feel in harmony with the passage of time, since time itself, obviously, will neither speed up nor slow down to accommodate our wishes.

So, time is precious beyond reckoning, but yet do people idly fritter away the hours, and seek means for gaining even more leisure time.

Why? Because you want only squandered one priceless treasure: your vital energy. Now that other priceless treasure, time, is not like wealth in your hands but like an immense pile of treasure underneath which you are buried. Be judicious with your vital energy so that the value of time may become manifest to you.

Our Grandshaykh used to say: “Oh people, how are you filling your days? Don’t waste time, but strive to weave time and space with still so that you will leave an enduring legacy behind you in this world and be honoured thereby here and hereafter”.

For followers of a Sufi Way wasting time either idly or in useless activity is the greatest sin. Guard your vital energy and your valuable time make every moment live.

Al Fatiha

Shukr and Sabr

Sultan ul Awliya Shaykh Muhammad Nazim Adil Al Haqqani Q.S (Alyaa Rehma),

Lecture in year 1986

He (Allah jj) asks for gratefulness when He gives comfort/ease. He (Allah jj) asks for patience when He gives problems/troubles. The grateful ones are given a reward for their gratefulness, and patient servants are also given a reward for their patience. For the grateful servant, Angels write his accounting, but not for a patient servant; Jenabi Haqq writes it Himself. So what to do? The situation in the world is like this: Man is either at ease or troubled. If he is given Favours from Allah, he has to say “Shukr, Alhamdulillah, we have no worries.” And gratefulness, Shukr, makes Favours increase. If he doesn’t say “Shukr” that which he already has will also disappear.

May Janabi Allah protect the Favours we have now. But the condition for them to be protected is in the servant’s hands: If he says “Shukr”, it will increase. If he doesn’t, it will disappear.

We are traveling a lot. Janabi Haqq makes us travel; He makes us travel in His Kingdom/Mulk. Of course the people of a certain place always prefer their own place/country; they like their own place. But our place (Cyprus) is probably more likable than theirs. Where we go (Ceylon) there is only one season; summer, winter, autumn and spring are all the same. In our place – Shukr to Allah – there are 4 seasons and according to each season there are different Favours and Grants of Janabi Haqq. In that place they know no summer and no winter, no spring and no autumn. It is all the same; it is always hot. I am saying to them: “Ya Hu, Janabi Haqq has created for you a Paradise. You have no worries about firewood or coal; you don’t get cold. There is no piece of dry land. Your mountains and valleys are all green.” In no season does this green disappear. And the people are simple; most of them live on a handful of rice and it is enough for them. Their clothing is very simple; most of them wrap a loincloth around themselves. Most of them have no shoes; they walk barefooted. And they are content with their situation. They have no complaints.

But they also have a test from Allah: there is not much peace there. The reason is that shaytan is not idle, he doesn’t stay unoccupied. Whenever a place is quiet, wherever there is peace, comfort, and safety, shaytan sends his soldiers and agents to break that comfort. He sends his agents and makes the nation revolt. When people are content, he doesn’t leave them in peace. Shaytan’s agents say: “This should be, that should be, this must be, that must be…” They are present everywhere and especially they disturb those, who cannot control their ego. It cheats them. And then comfort becomes forbidden to them and they get restless.

I have landed on this island of Ceylon. Around midnight we landed and they said “There is a curfew in the whole country. So you have to drive slowly, because the road patrols control who is coming and going. You have to pass with lights on. And they fire at any car that doesn’t stop.” In short, there were so many places where armed patrols were standing, waiting. There is a Hadith Sharif of our Prophet, which I have heard from our Sheikh, Sultanu l-Awliya: “At the End of Times the people of every nation will fight one another.” They will fight one another. They won’t fight an outside enemy, but among each other, the saying of the Prophet goes.

The organization and equipment of the soldiers I saw is appropriate for a war. If there is no war soldiers don’t dress like this and they are not that careful and attentive. I said: “Against whom are these well equipped and well-organized soldiers directed? Against whom do they stay in this war situation? Is there an attack from outside? Is there an attack from China, India? What is going on?” They said: “No. They are waiting for their own people. There is a group among the people that attacks and shoots at the soldiers. They are there to fire back at them.” I said: “That is a miracle of the Prophet ‘alayhi s-salatu wa s-salam. 1400 years ago he said that 1400 years later exactly this will happen.”

This nation is on guard against their own people; they have their finger on the trigger to fight one another. This is not just the characteristic of this country. Here we have also become a nation that fights one another. The Arabs fight one another, the Turks fight one another, the Persians fight one another, the Afghans fight one another. Whom are they fighting? Apparently Russia came out, but the Afghans have prepared it from their own side, so now the Mujahid fight their own nation. They make war inside (their own country). They call it now ‘civil war’ – a made-up thing. It is war within. In almost every country, be it of small dimensions or big, there is this unrest. With the statement of our Prophet there is this miracle that they found a chance to make a war inside of each nation. It is about to break out and in many countries it is already going on. In America, in Europe, in Asia, in Africa… In every continent there are inland wars. Riots and unrest, they say. Unrest means that the nation’s people are getting up against one another.

I am just coming from Pakistan. There also people are rising up against each other. In Ceylon they rise against each other. In short, peace in this world is finished. Dunya is now in a state of war. If they don’t fight outside, they make war inside, among themselves. There is war in the houses, there is war in the streets. In the houses they fight each other inside the family. In one house there is no agreement between mother, father, children and siblings. The mother opposes the father, the father opposes the mother. Husband and wife oppose each other. Children argue with their parents and oppose them and among themselves children also differ and oppose one another. In short, at the table you see people sit and eat who are all against each other. Maybe they are all enemies and are still forced to eat all together at this table. But they don’t like each other. The wife doesn’t like her husband, the husband doesn’t like his wife. Children don’t like their parents; they don’t agree with them. Parents don’t agree with children. Siblings don’t agree with each other; one brother is not happy with the other. It is a strange situation.

The Prophet (Peace & Blessing Upon Him) had spoken about this time. Shaytan immediately goes wherever there is a little peace, comfort, and safety, to make it upside down. There is no place in peace now. And even if from outside it looks peaceful, inside the same fasad/corruption is being produced. If not today, tomorrow, if not tomorrow, next week; if not next week, next month or next year. Definitely somewhere this fire will break out and go on. And we seek refuge in Allah!

There is one transmitted Dua: “Ya Muhawwil al hauli wa l-ahwal, hawwil halana ila ahsani hal.”

(“O Turner of states, turn our state into the best of states.”) O Allah Who turns the years, and Who changes the states of the servant. None of our states resembles the other. In 24 hours, how many times do we change our state? In 24 hours there are 24.000 Tajallis, Divine Manifestations, coming from Jenabi Haqq over His servant. One condition of a human being doesn’t resemble the other one; it cannot be. We don’t reach the evening in the same state we woke up in the morning. Up to nighttime our states of meeting, talking, doing, change a lot. We don’t stay in the same state in which we were in the morning. In the evening our state is different.

And tomorrow is hidden to us. Tomorrow, when we reach tomorrow, it will start to open again – the ambitions or delights of tomorrow, or the regrets… In short, up to the evening it will all have opened. When the evening comes, we put the events of the day on the scales. If a lot of incidents have happened, the ups and downs, we perceive the ups as joy and the downs as sadness. And this evening also, when we see all our states of this day, we will lie down with regrets, or we will lie down happy. The One Who changes each hour of the 24 hours is Janabi Haqq. This is a beautiful Dua for the changing states: “O Allah, Who is changing the states of the human beings from one to the other, make our state the best of states.” At the end of the day make us reach a state that makes us pleased. When we reach the evening, may we reach it pleased.

Because there is the Station of Happiness and the Station of Sadness. Who reaches the Maqam of Happiness should say Shukr, who reaches the Maqam of Sadness should be patient.

Therefore, the announcement of all the Prophets to the servants of Allah is this: “Say Shukr, give thanks for the Favours Allah gave today and, for the disliked things, repent to Janabi Haqq, ask forgiveness and be patient with them.”

Al Fatiha

Ask to Be in Heavenly Levels

Lecture by Sultan ul Awliya Shaykh Muhammad Nazim Adil Al Haqqani Q.S (Alyaa Rehma), Lecture dated: 08.03.2010, Lefke – Cyprus

-The Sweet Eternal Life-

Mawlana Shaykh stands.)

La ilaaha illa-Llah, la ilaaha illa-Llah, la ilaaha illa-Llah, Muhammadun Rasoolullah `alayhi ‘s-salaatullah was salaam.

(Mawlana Shaykh sits.)

Madad, yaa Sayyidee. Dastoor yaa Sayyidee, madad.

As-salaamu `alaykum, O attenders who are asking to be happy here and Hereafter, to be in pleasure here and Hereafter, to be accepted through heavenly levels forever. O People! Take care a little bit. Don’t think that we are for dunya, no. We have been created for our Lord’s servanthood. He created Man, and jinn also, to be honored through worshiping Him. We are saying, a`oodhu billahi min ash-Shaytaani ‘r-rajeem. Bismillahi ‘r-Rahmaani ‘r-Raheem. Take a heavenly sword for defending yourself from negative poles because here, through this life, there are so many enemies under the command of Shaytan that are always rushing on Mankind to make them lose their honor.

That honor was never granted to any other creatures. It is the top pole for Creation, the top point for the honor of Mankind, so leave being heedless and try to wake up! Whole prophets are just coming to wake people up. They are coming as warners and shaking people, saying, “O People! Wake up, as you are not created for this life!” This life is so quickly passing away, and the Lord of Heavens (SWT) granted to you the taste of life, giving you such an original specialty that you are not like other creatures living on this planet that are dying, passing away, and going to be dust.

Yes. He Almighty is granting to you from a heavenly grant, a most valuable grant, making you taste the sweetness of life, to be in pleasure and to be pleased. Never-ending pleasure is for you. But you are tasting something through this life, and don’t think that it is continuously through this life or don’t think that what you are tasting through this life just finishing for awhile, no. If Allah Almighty is granting something, particularly to Mankind, if He is making to taste, then tasting, that life it was forever.

There will be such endless pleasure for us! They who are tasting the sweetness of life, all of them are asking to reach Endless Life. But this planet is not for that purpose; here life is only making you to taste. When you are tasting and you are understanding from where it is coming, that grant will take you to an Eternal Life, sa`adatu ‘d-daarayn, “Happinees in the two: this life and the Next Life.” This is a temporary life just mixed with so many things that are making people not able to have a pure tasting for life.

That is the biggest grant from Allah Almighty, to bring you from nothing to be an atom, then to bring you to be something! And countless creatures are not tasting the pleasure of life, but Man is tasting the pleasure of life and they are asking if this life may continue forever! Yes, it may continue. Allah Almighty is granting to you, but this world is not enough for His grants, because that which He has granted to us has such an honor, it has never been granted to any other creatures. He is asking to grant to His deputies a never-ending life, but not a life that you are living on this planet, no. (The never-ending life has) pure pleasure, pure pleasement, pure sweetness, pure endless pleasures. Everything is going to be pure.

Here our lives are just mixed with so many things making our lives so bitter, bitter, bitter. Everything touching people is giving some huzn, sorrow. You are finishing on this side and on another side is coming another arrow of sorrow. Therefore, one arrow is missing you and another arrow is hitting you. Saying why, why, why (did this happen)? This life is going to be the worst life-model for Creation, but through all these things the Lord of Heavens, if He was granting to Man through this life everything with sweetness, they are not going to be able to taqdeer, appreciate the hillou, sweetness of the Next Life. But arrows are coming everywhere in this life; some are simple arrows, some are poisoned arrows. You may take some arrows and close this down, giving to you some huzn, sadness; it is only for a temporary time. But some of them are touching people in a way that it becomes impossible for that one to forget its bitterness, ajeer. Until he leaves that poisonous arrow, his life up to the end is poisoned.

Our Lord (swt) is asking to teach people something here, so many wisdoms! If Allah Almighty is not sending people to this life, they are not going to know the sweetness and pleasure of Eternal Life. Therefore, they are making on this planet so many things, so many arrows are coming and touching you, and you are saying, “why (did this happen)?” (It happens because) they are never leaving you to taste a pure sweetness through this life; it is impossible. This is a big lesson that Allah Almighty is teaching His servants, saying, “I am coming and taking you to New Territories through My endless oceans that I am going to grant to you, and you may understand the real sweetness of life through this.”

This is important! Every evil coming on people is teaching them something and when finally you draw your last breathe and you are leaving this life for Eternal Life, that is coming so heavy. There is such a heavy sadness for a person when they are leaving this world. Reaching a top point and, if they were believers, the end of their lives through this dunya would be coming and opening. Ohhhh! Then, we are coming to our last moment wider, we are marching, coming, coming, coming to be more narrow, narrow, narrow, narrow, and their last moment for their physical being is going to be the worst experience. The last breathing, sakaraatu ‘l-mawt. Those last moments that are shaking a person, angels are coming and shaking them to take out their souls. That is going to be the most difficult moment of their lives! They’re reaching the last moment and their souls are coming out and they are finding themselves in another territory that is always opening.

The life that we are in now, they are coming narrow, narrow, narrow and reaching to the last moment, which is the worst for our souls. But suddenly, when we are passing from this point, an opening is coming, not like this (meshes fingers together). When they are welcomed up to that point, for some people there is a new opening. The life of dunya is closing down and after the last moment there is going to be the beginning of a new opening, and that opening is endlessly going, endlessly going. That is Eternity. You can’t understand Eternity here, but you can understand the last moment when your soul leaves your physical being and is finding a new majaal, field, that is opening, opening, opening. For believers, that opening is filled with pleasures and pleasements, with openings that have a good taste, full with enlightenment, full with pleasure, full with pleasements. Under it is another majaal, field. Those who are asking for Eternity, their field is opening into Enlightened Oceans through the heavens. Those who have prepared themselves for an Eternal Life will find endless pleasure, endless pleasements, and endless enlightenment.

But there is another opening, for those who have not prepared themselves for eternal fulfillment and eternal pleasure and pleasements, because they are denying that level, so there is another level of darkness territories they are running in. And that level is opening to them in darkness, more and more and more and more, because they were asking in their lives for those darkness territories. That is Eternal Life for them through the dark territories of the Lord’s Power Oceans; they will be there. They are opening also, but to dark territories. O our Lord! O our Lord! Allahumma ahfadhna, protect us! That is a very sorrowful, very fearful end for people.

Therefore, Prophets were coming and saying, “Come and believe, come and follow, come with us and accept our real guidance, taking you to Enlightened Territories from the Lord of Heavens. That is going, going, going. It is never going to be less!” But those who are not asking, who are always drunk in this life’s pleasures or in this life’s aims or targets, they just sit in dark territories. If you are following the way of prophets, you will reach to Enlightened Worlds forever! Eternity! Eternity! Eternity! Eternity! Eternal Life!

O People! Ask, and go to the Enlightened Territories of your Lord, mashaAllah. That is granted to Mankind, and don’t think that the territories are only one planet. There are countless territories, countless planets, countless worlds that are full with creations, and not any other planet’s creatures are going to be the same as our world, as our planet. Each of them are going to be 100% different , because Allah Almighty is not making photocopies, no.

Yawm ad-Deen (Day of Judgment), what does it mean, Salafi `ulamas? Maaliki Yawmi ‘d-Deen? Yawm ad-Deen? What is your opinion? Is it only a dressing for Allah (swt), only a name, or He is going to be Maaliki Yawmi ‘d-Deen? What are you saying? Our Lord is Maaliki Yawm ad-Deen. Is He that One, gathering His servants for judgment, as Judgment Day that never happened before? And is it going to be a judgment, is it going to be Maliki Yawmi ‘d-Deen, or is it coming from Eternity to be Maaliki Yawm ‘d-Deen? Or is it going to be in such a day that it never happened?

O Salafi `ulamas! Think on that point. When is Maaliki Yawm ‘d-Deen? Say! On Judgment Day, was He the Judge of that Judgment Day, when it was not happening? Or when He was in His Divinely Existence? How many Yawmi ‘d-Deen, Judgment Days have just passed away? Are we waiting for it to be Judgment Day only once? You must use your mind a little bit, you must give as much as your mind is understanding to reach that point. You must give your endless respect, endless glorifying to your Lord, mashaa-Allah. Billions just happened, trillions just happened, quadrillions just happened. Are people thinking there is just one planet, and He is waiting to blow the trumpet, and then coming to make Judgment? Or never happened before?

That is like an ocean, and we can’t find a coast, a beach for that ocean, nor a depth for that ocean. It is Endless Oceans, fulk al-mashhoon, and each one is filled with those creatures, and each one is glorifying for His Endless Majestic Being. Allahu akbar! Allahu akbar!

O People, try to understand something for your life. Try to understand what is reality for our beings, for what is the real positions for ourselves. When we came into existence and when we are going out of existence. I think that point, Salafi `ulamas are never saying anything about. They are saying that there is only one Day of Resurrection. They are thinking that there is only one Judgment Day? Allah’s (swt) name is Al-Ghanee, “The Wealthiest.” Al-Ghanee is not poor and His territories are endless, and no one can reach them; you can only reach what a small ant is reaching, such a small area. Allahu akbar! Allahu akbar! Allahu akbar! Allahu akbar!

We have always been ordered to call people by reciting, Allahu Akbar, “Allah (swt) is the Greatest!” No one is asking how His Being is akbar, the biggest one, the greatest one? No one is asking, and I have been ordered to address to you something that is making your understanding an opening.

Laysa kamithlihi shayan, “Nothing compares to Him (swt)!” No one is going to be like Him (swt), it is impossible!

Now they are touching new meanings from a deep Knowledge Ocean, to give much more understanding to people about their Lord’s existence, and for our Lord’s Divinely Attributes and Divinely Names Oceans. Ohhhhh! That is Azaliyun, “The Eternal,” Abadiyun, “Eternity,” and Sarmadiyoon, “The Everlasting.” Try to understand such a speech that our masters are sending to a weak servant to address to whole nations, because all of them belong to Adam’s children. Try to understand a bit more, seek more understanding. And every new thing gives a pleasure to people and opens for them a new territory that they were never thinking about. Allahu akbar!

O People! Come and listen and prepare yourselves for heavenly levels. Don’t insist to remain on the lowest level of Mankind, no. The lowest level for Mankind is equal to animals’ level. Animals are knowing about eating, drinking and bringing generations. If we are not thinking about anything about real Greatness Oceans, you are coming to the level of animals and there is no honor for animals. Try to take yourself to move up, and to move up, follow holy ones; they may take you and carry you to the levels of heavens. Levels of heavens are also countless! How many heavens are mentioned? Saba` samawaat, “Seven levels of heavens,” but there are endless levels of heavens! That is also in the Holy Qur’an. It is mentioned seven levels of heavens, but there are how many heavens? Only seven heavens, or more and more and more, endlessly?

Everything that belongs to the Lord of Creation, He has endlessly from such a creation. Besides His Creation, there are countless Creations. But beside His Presence, there is going to be nothing, nothing, nothing. Everything is just yusheer, a sign for Mankind according to their understanding. And tafham, understand, getting more and more and more, getting up to be more. According to our understanding, there are going to be endless levels. But next to His Divinely Presence, it is going to be smaller, smaller, smaller; you can’t reach up to Eternal, it is never going to finish. There are coming new ones, coming new ones, renewing, but that renewing is never going to be the same in existence.

Try to use your mind’s production for understanding. Try to follow holy ones, reaching for some levels or even for one, your mind can’t reach to make a circle around that area. Allahu akbar!

O our Lord! Forgive us for the honor of the most beloved one in Your Divinely Presence, Sayyidina Muhammad (Peace & Blessing Upon Him)!

(Mawlana Shaykh stands and sits.)

Oh, we are so weak, so weak!

Al Fatiha

Allah, Allah. `Ajeeb. Rabbana ‘ghfar lanaa. May Allah (swt) forgive us.

(53 minutes) Mashaa-Allah, SubhanAllah, sultaanAllah. We are weak ones, weak ones, weak ones.

(Mawlana Shaykh sings in Turkish)

Yaa Muhammad, canım arzular seni. Dost Muhammad, canım pek sever seni. Padışah konmaz saraya hane mamur olmadan.

kenz açılmaz şol gönülden ta ki pür nur olmyınca.

Ya Muhammad, my soul is yearning for you, Ya Muhammad, you are my true love. A king is not put in a palace before it is adorned.

A heart’s treasure is unlocked only when that heart is purified.

Dome dome, dome dome, dome dome, dome dome, 4x

Allah, Allah!

Al Fatiha

Bring People Good News to Make Them Happy

Sultan ul Awliya Mawalna Shaykh Muhammad Nazim Adil Q.S (Alyaa Rehma),

Lecture dated: 11.04.2010, Lefke – Cyprus

Madad, yaa rijalAllah.

(Mawlana Shaykh stands.)

Allahu akbar, Allahu akbar, Allahu akbar. Subhaanak! Subhaanak Allahumma wa bi hamdik, narju rahmatik, nakhsha `adhaabik inna `adhaabika jiddan bil kuffar mulhaq. Aamaan, yaa Rabbee.

(Mawlana Shaykh sits.)

Dastoor, yaa Sultaanu ‘l-Awliya, madad. Madad yaa rijaalAllah, madad. A`oodhu billahi min ash-Shaytani ‘r-rajeem. Bismillahi ‘r-Rahmaani ‘r-Raheem. Say every time, bismillahi ‘r-Rahmaani ‘r-Raheem; this cleans you from dirtiness that Shaytan is throwing at you. Say, a`oodhu billahi min ash-Shaytani ‘r-rajeem. Rabbee zidnee `ilma, Allahumma inna nasaluka `ilman nafi`an, are all teachings of the Seal of Prophets, Sayyidina Muhammad (Peace & Blessing Upon Him)! (Mawlana Shaykh stands and sits.) Say!! Bismillahi ‘r-Rahmaani ‘r-Raheem. Say always, bismillahi ‘r-Rahmaani ‘r-Raheem until people are saying, “Ohhh our friend, ohhh our brother, is coming in another personality. He wasn’t before in such a way. What happened to him that he is always saying, bismillahi ‘r-Rahmaani ‘r-Raheem, bismillahi ‘r-Rahmaani ‘r-Raheem, bismillahi ‘r-Rahmaani ‘r-Raheem?”

That is ignorant thinking. Who is ignorant? Ignorant is a drunken one. With what is he going to be drunk? He is drunk with shaytanic imaginings. Shaytan making him to think something that is never going to happen. There is a special term for such people, what is that? Dreamers! Yes? Dreamers! Now people, all of them going to be dreamers! What does it mean, “dreamer”, our Salafi `ulamas? Marhaban! You are always angry, for what? Ama sami`tum, O Salafi `ulamas, you are not reciting Holy Qur’an? Yes, you are not reciting ayatul kareemah that Allah Almighty is saying, (Mawlana Shaykh stands)

قُلْ بِفَضْلِ اللّهِ وَبِرَحْمَتِهِ فَبِذَلِكَ فَلْيَفْرَحُواْ هُوَ خَيْرٌ مِّمَّا يَجْمَعُونَ

qul bifadlillaahi wa bi rahmatihi fa-bidhaalika fa ‘l-yafrahoo, Say: “In the bounty of Allah. And in His Mercy,- in that let them rejoice”: that is better than the (wealth) they hoard. (10:58)

Ayatu ‘l-kareema, Allah Almighty saying, “fa bi rahmatillahi fa ‘l-yafrahoo,” Okay? (Mawlana Shaykh sits.) Tawbah, astaghfirullah. (Mawlana is very angry!) Shaytan is coming to do something that is useless! Aman samee’aa tun Ama sami`atum, you are not hearing or reciting?

And Allah Almighty likes His servants to be happy, yes! Why is your face like this (Mawlana makes his face down), for what? For what are you so sorrowful? Do you think your Lord created you as donkey? You must be happy that the Lord of Heavens created you from Man, from human nature! Why is your face like this farah, unhappy, always (down)? You must show your joy and happiness to people so they may ask, “Why are you so happy?” And you must recite Holy Qur’an bi rahmatillahi, from our Lord’s endless Happiness Oceans we are happy. That is `ilm or jahl, anything wrong that you are always so serious, strict, for what? Because I am reciting from the Holy Qur’an? And I am nothing, and only making tadhkeer, reminding you to be happy!

Say to people, “Be enjoyful, because of our Lord’s endless Blessing Oceans that He prepared for you, O Mankind, to be happy!” Say to people! Bashshir wa la tunaffir, “Bring them good news,” it is a hadith also? What are you saying? Always your face is like this (Mawlana makes his face serious.). Any vessel just drawn for you through the Red Sea? Therefore, you are so unhappy, like this (frowns), for what? Allah Almighty is saying, fal yafrahu, we are happy, raghman `ala anfikum, inspite of your will! Alhamdulillah! Be farhaan, fully joyful, not just a little bit! Yes. Bashshiri ‘l-mu’mineen, raghman `ala anf wahaabiyyeen raghman `ala anf Salafi `ulamas.

We are happy with our Lord’s tassaruf, what He is doing, yes! Bashshir! That is a holy command from Allah Almighty to those people who are saying, “We are representatives of the Seal of Prophets (Peace & Blessing Upon Him).” Mashaa-Allah. What do you think about that one who all Creation is created for his honor, Sayyidina Muhammad (s)? (Mawlana Shaykh stands.) Making people to be in sorrow, sorrow, sorrow, through his majlis or his assemblies, meetings, no! (Mawlana Shaykh sits.) And Wahabi people are taking from Salafi `ulamas, never even smiling, (saying to) leave laughing, smiling is forbidden, because laughing is haram, smiling is bidaa`. “Don’t smile, be serious.” What, are you sitting in a big court, to be so serious? Tabassum, smiling! Allah (swt) is happy when His servants are happy!

Therefore, I am shouting on Kerim also, always coming like this, never smiling. Abdel Kerim doesn’t show smiling, he is a bandit (thief)! Yes, make people to be happy, happy with their Lord! Real happiness is with our Lord, not with dunya! Whoever is going to be happy with dunya, they are losing, they are falling in an endless sorrowfulness. And who are they? They are millionaires and billionaires, but they are fearing that the prices are coming down, they are going to be very, very sorrowful!

“Ohhh my brother, ohhh what do you think about oil prices? It was going up and we were very happy, but now it is going down very quickly and that is making me not to sleep well or not to enjoy eating, not to enjoy with our wives also. What we shall do?”

“Ohhh, don’t worry, today coming down, tomorrow may go up. What are we going to do? One day down, one day up. I don’t like such a thing. What we shall do?”

That is sorrow of rich people, millionaires, billionaires or trillionaires; that is sorrow. Be happy that one plate you may eat and not giving trouble to your stomach, not making a headache to your head! Say, alhamdulillah, shukrulillah. People are making such nonsense points, to make them sorrowful and it is nothing! Therefore, always coming to me for addressing people, “O People! Don’t forget that hadith of the Seal of Prophets (Peace & Blessing Upon Him):

لو كانت الدنيا تزن عند الله جناح بعوضة ما سقى كافراً منها شربة ماء

Bismillahi ‘r-Rahmaani ‘r-Raheem, law kanatid dunya tazin `indallahi janaaha ba`ooda maa saqaa kaafirun shurbata ma, If this dunya weighed in Allah’s Sight the weight of a mosquito’s wing, Allah (swt) would not have given a disbeliever a drop to drink!”

Write this with golden letters and put it everywhere so that people may reach a peace through themselves!

They will be peaceful, never going to be sorrowful. If all oil wells are finishing, you must not be sorrowful. You may say, “It is okay, alhamdulillah. He Almighty is granting and He is taking, I may make it fee sabeelillah.” Everything you must try to do fee sabeelillah. You will be so happy! What are we saying? We are saying we must always be happy, we must not show that we are sorrowful, or sorry, no.

Always you must say, “O our Lord, O our Lord, You are to be happy with us, that is our capital! To be in Your Divinely Presence on the Day of Resurrection!”

And the Lord of Heavens is saying, “O My servant, I am happy with you!” Anything else such a person saying? If a person is saying, “O my Lord I am happy with You! … I have been thrown through seven hells, and those seven hells going to extinguish. I was so joyful with refreshment and pleasure and happiness. Allahu akbar!”

O People! Think such things! O Salafi `ulamas! Change your ways! O Wahabi People! Don’t swear to anyone! We are speaking the truth, to be happy that we have been created from human nature, and Allah Almighty granted us from His endless mercy to be His servants. Be happy; don’t swear at anyone! Make Him happy! When you are swearing, that is turning up and you are going to be lost! That is heavenly inspiration that they are making people to hear through east and west. And you, because you are so hard people, Salafi `ulamas–very serious, never smiling or laughing, you don’t even like to speak to common people–you are making for yourself a special level. If you are going to be on that special level, you will be there alone! No one is going to be there, one, two, three, four, ten people will sit on that place, nothing else. Bashiri ‘l-mu’mineen! We are mu’mins! You can’t say who is saying, laa ilaaha illa-Llah, (Mawlana Shaykh stands) Muhammadun Rasoolullah that it is kafir, (Mawlana Shaykh sits.) Beware from Allah Almighty’s divinely anger!

And He was ordering to His most beloved, most honored, most glorified one in His Divinely Presence, Sayyidina Muhammad (Peace & Blessing Upon Him)! (Mawlana Shaykh stands and sits.) Say, “O My most beloved one, say good tidings to My servants, particularly who they are thinking themselves on high levels, and it is My order to everyone to know and to do: O My most beloved one, say to them, بشروا ولا تنفروا bashshiroo wa laa tunafiroo, ‘Give good tidings and do not repel people.'” Yes, hadith?

O Wahabi People! What are you saying? Making every way closed on believers, saying, “That is bidaa`, that is haraam!” Al-halaalu bayyin wa ‘l-haraamu bayyin, “What is permitted is clear, what is forbidden is clear.” From your pockets bringing, “That is haraam, that is kufr”? Who is giving to you? Are you representatives of the Seal of Prophets (Peace & Blessing Upon Him)? Keep yourself! I am nothing, but Who is making me to address all nations, from east to west, north to south; you address also, if you have authority! Stand up and warn people, say to them what you know!

I am nothing, but heavenly powers are asking me to address all people through east and west, to all nations, Christians and Jewish people, all non-Muslim world, to say, to know, what is the reality that Allah Almighty sent to his 124,000 prophets. What are they saying? We are saying here, may Allah forgive us! That is important. Say, tawbah yaa Rabbee, tawbah yaa Rabbee! Bashshiroo wa laa tunafiroo, Don’t make people to run away from Islam by saying, bida`, kufr, haraam, shirk. They are running from you–not from you, from Islam–and that is the biggest crime in the Divinely Presence, you can’t do that!!

Wa la tunaffiru, another hadith just joining the first line, yassiru wa laa tu`assiru. That is hadith-i-shareef or kalaamu ‘n-naass? Who said this? That one said this who never speaking from himself:

وَمَا يَنطِقُ عَنِ الْهَوَى

wa maa yantiq `ani ‘l-hawaa, Nor does he say (aught) of (his own) Desire. (53:3)

It is not your word or my word, but Who granted heavenly wahee, revelation, He was speaking! Not `an-nafsee, not from himself. Why are you not yassiru (make this easy)? And everywhere, every Islamic country is also making as much as possible trouble for their citizens! They are making everything that is difficult, never giving an easy way, putting for everything a difficulty. Allah (swt) will ask mulook, kingdoms, and their representatives, presidents, and governments–everyone that is making and giving trouble to Muslim people or to Mankind! They will be asked! They will be judged on the Day of Resurrection and will be punished. Yassiru, you can’t find anywhere that official people are making (life) easy for citizens, what they are asking to do. Allah (swt) is looking and seeing and writing!! May Allah (swt) forgive us!

O People! Beware of Shaytan! Shaytan is using thousands of tricks, bringing in ma`dharaat excuses, because you are doing “this for this.” In Holy Qur’an it is written this, or that? Follow Holy Qur’an, follow Holy Shari`ah, heavenly orders, give everyone’s rights!! You are appointed to look at who is oppressor, and (look after) oppressed people everywhere! Through all Arab countries, Turkish, Egyptian, Maghribi (Morocco), Libya, Iraq, Pakistan, Allah (swt) will ask their heads. Those people will be brought on the Day of Resurrection and their hands will be bound with iron chains to here (Mawlana points to his neck), and they will be asked about their nations! If their nations are saying, “He did for us what is best for us,” then their hands are opening and Allah Almighty then is looking after His judgment. It is not easy to be malik, sultan, shah, raa’ees jumhooriyya, presidents; they are not here (in dunya) something useless, but there (in Akhirah) they will be under heavy responsibility for everyone.

Therefore, Sayyidina `Umar, may Allah (swt) bless him, was crying and (people were) saying, “Why are you crying?” Woe to `Umar, oh so sorry for `Umar, because `Umar will be asked on the Day of Resurrection, (as he said), “Even if one wolf is eating one sheep, I will be asked.” SubhanAllah. Therefore, through his khilafah, Ameeru ‘l-Mu’mineen, through his being, no one from wild animals is making such an attack. One day, one shepherd was seeing that one wolf just catching one lamb and running away and he said, “Why?” Ameeru ‘l-Mu’mineen just passed away oh just passed away Khalifatu ‘l-Mu’mineen, really he passed and then a wolf was catching a sheep. He was keeping such a perfect justice! Hellfire for the zhaalim (oppressors), shahs, presidents and others!

May Allah (swt) forgive us. Tawbah yaa Rabbee, yaa Rabbee. Astaghfirullah.

Dome dome dome dome, Dome dome dome dome 4x

You only, our Lord, forgive us.

Al Fatiha

Tawbah yaa Rabbee. Tawbah astaghfirullah.

Hope

Sultan ul Awliya Shaykh Muhammad Nazim Adil Al Haqqani Q.S (Alyaa Rehma),

Lecture dated: 31-05-2013,

Lefke – Cyrus

As salamu alaikum. Ay yaran Shah Mardan. May it be a salvation for us, relief and strength too. May we serve to gain nearness to the Lord. May we keep the way of al-Habib (Peace & Blessing Upon Him). Ay yaran Shah Mardan! Show us the ways of al-Habib(sws)! May we be delighted and honored with his ways! May we be filled with love and yearning! As-salamu alaikum! Ya ‘Ibadu r-Rahman. Ay yaran Shah Mardan. Ya Rabbi! May all grief leave us! May happiness come! Let the robe of honor be dressed on us! Ay Shah Mardan! Your friends admire you! May we open up and be refreshed, in order to run to the service of the Lord! That is what we want.

As-salamu alaikum. Ay yaran Shah Mardan! May our day and our end be good! May troubles be away from us! Our Lord is Subhan! The servants who submit to the Lord with faith, troubles stay far away from them! Please Shah Mardan go on, inform us, so that we may see ahead, we may know whom to love! We throw away those we don’t love. The Human being is the honorable creature who has been granted by the Lord! Let’s say, for the sake of al-Habib al-Kibriya, may we ask for his sake! Whatever we ask for, it will be granted. Is’al wa laka ma tas’al. There is this heavenly guidance: “Ask, ask from Me”, says Janabul Haqq. Whatever you ask will be given! He is such a Sultan that, the limits of His treasures are not known. These are not for Himself but for the honorable children of Adam! Janabul Haqq is in no need of anything, anywhere.

Ay yaran Shah Mardan! Inform us! – “Don’t be hopeless!” Don’t fall into the oceans of despair! There is no despair at His door! At the Lord’s door – there is no one who went to His door and left hopeless, and no one came back without obtaining what he hoped for. Allahu Akbar! O Lord! There is no despair at Your door. There is no hopelessness! Wa laka ma sa’alt. “O My servant you will get what you ask for”. Please go on Shah Mardan. Your friends admire you! They are expecting, they are asking. Wa laka ma sa’alt “O My servant ask from Me”. You will receive whatever you ask for! If not there, He will not give, but there is everything at Janabul Haqq’s door! His treasures are abundant! No one knows the extent of His treasures.

Please Shah Mardan go on! Despair has become the order for those who have forgotten their Lord, Allah! There is no despair/deep sorrow for those who are servants of their Lord. Wa laka ma sa’alt. “There is everything you ask for, O My servant!” Don’t fall into despair, don’t fall into hopelessness! Please go on Shah Mardan, how beautiful is your expression! O Shah Mardan, teach us so that we may know! Despair is a blasphemy. Hopelessness doesn’t exist at Allah’s door.

There is no one who should fall into despair, hopelessness at Allah’s door. Despair is a blasphemy. Hopelessness is a blasphemy. If one falls into despair at Allah’s door, he becomes an unbeliever. Wa laka ma sa’alt. “O My servant, I have everything you ask for, all that you need”.

“Ask from me”. Masha’Allah la quwwata illa Billah. O son of Adam! Don’t be desperate! Despair is a blasphemy. At the door of Rabbul Ta’ala and Taqaddas, there is no despair. Hopelessness is a blasphemy! If one loses all hope, that means he has fallen into unbelief.

Thanks to our Lord that, He made us friends and loved ones of Shah Mardan. Shah Mardan is now saying, love and you will win. Love and win. He who doesn’t love, loses faith. That one is finished. The soul of the human is love. Love; love Shah Mardan, may your heart open, may your body revive. Love and be loved. He who doesn’t love, is not loved. Love! “I loved and I created” says Janab Allah. Whatever there is in the universe, Children of Adam, I created and I loved. The Human being has honor. Please Shah Mardan go on, your friends admire you! Love and win! He who doesn’t love, cannot win. He has nothing.

What are the merits of loving? Please Shah Mardan go on. Love is the pillar of religion. He who cannot love doesn’t have faith. If you have faith, you can love. If you can love, you have faith. Without love one cannot have faith. O Shah Mardan, your friends admire you! They love you O Shah Mardan! The Ummah of the Prophet(sws) loves you. Janab Allah dressed you (S.Mardan) with every virtue. Your glory is admired, Shah Mardan! O Shah Mardan, those who have heard but didn’t admire you have no faith. Faith is fed with love. The level of faith of those who don’t love is zero. Love in order to gain value. O Shah Mardan we love you! We want to be your friends. In this case, Tahabbu. Love and be loved.

The capital of humanity is love, loving. One who doesn’t love, is not a human. The capital of a human, is muhabbatullah (love of Allah) and love of His Habib(sws) and love of Shah Mardan. Our capital is love, affection/fondness. If you lose the ability to love, you become like a dry tree.

Love. Love, affection enlivens you. Love is the means that will make you reach The Presence of Allah and Rasul. It is the stairway, stairs which lead to heavens, muhabatullah (love of Allah), Love of al-Habib, love of Shah Mardan. Love, be loved. If you don’t love your life is nothing. You have no value. With what does a human get value? Please Shah Mardan go on, your friends admire you. With your love, one would become a lion! If one loves the lion, one would become a lion. One who loves the dog becomes a dog. What lion hunts is clean.

The food of a dog is carcass. If one is after carcass he becomes a carcass. Be clean! “An nadhafatu min al iman.” Cleanliness/purity is from faith. If one is not clean one can’t have faith. “Innamal Mushrikuna Najasun”(9:28) is said. This is what Janabul Haqq declared about unbelief and unbelievers: “Innamal Mushrikuna Najasun”(9:28) The polytheists who are, having satan among them, are getting on well with satan, they are unclean. Hasha minal hudur, one who is friends with dogs where does he go? He runs to carcasses. Allah didn’t create man as a carcass, nor as one who runs after carcasses. The Human being is clean/pure. “Innamal Mushrikuna Najasun”(9:28) One who is not pure is unclean. He won’t be accepted into the Divine Presence.

Please Shah Mardan go on, your friends admire your face. Your face is like Sun, O Shah Mardan! Who can see your face, it shines like the sun. O idiot people, seek the sun! Look for the sun! The sun has light/noor. Daylight is sun/Sunlight. The sun brings us the daylight. Darkness brings us the night, darkness. That is why the faces of Muslims are like the moon. You feel happiness when you look at them. The faces of unbelievers, are ugly. Why? They are making friends with satan. O people, O people! make friends with beautiful people that you may become beautiful. Don’t make friends with ugly ones and bad ones. You will become ugly and bad. Ay yaran Shah Mardan! We admire you! We want to keep your way. O Shah Mardan, Janabul Haqq created the Earth and Sky. The Earth and Sky have no value but the human being has.

The Human has a value. Earth has no value in the Presence of Allah but the human does. Know your value!

They don’t know what they should know. They go after what they shouldn’t know. When a human goes after satan, darkness comes to his face. His face is bad. It is obvious who runs after satan. His face is bad. Whose face shines like moon, they are of the Divine. They are the holy ones, heavenly servants who have the light which comes from the Lord to al-Habib (Peace & Blessing Upon Him), from al-Habib to Shah Mardan, and from him to these servants. Janab Allah is saying to seek the heavenly light. O our Lord, make us from those who seek Divine Light. May we get Divine Light! Demand the Divine Light, they say. Don’t be in darkness! O Shah Mardan! You are like the sun. You are like the sun, Ay Shah Mardan! That is why your friends admire you! Maydan is like the sun, the face of Shah Mardan. The sun rises everyday. It rises in light. Where does this light come from? They don’t have this light. Who possesses this Divine Light is our Prophet, the Master of the Heavenly realms, Sultanul Anbiya(sws). Shah Mardan is the one who receives from his light. Who obeys him, can receive from this Divine Light.

“Faltamisu Nura”(57:13) Seek the Divine Light, says Allah DhulJalal! “O My servant ask for Divine Light”. Don’t remain without light. A Human without light becomes like the night. One with light is like the sun, like Shah Mardan. May we follow his way in order to get light. Don’t remain in darkness! The faces of many people are in darkness. Why is that? They do not have the light which comes from faith. Allah offered us the light He has given to His Habib. The light given to al-Habib passes to Shah Mardan from him(Prophet). From Shah Mardan it comes to us. “Faltamisu Nura”(57:13) Janab Allah is saying, Look for Divine Light. But people are running to darkness, not to light.

O our Lord, this is Rajab Shahrullah which carries Your Majestic Name. Give us strength, health and beauty, O our Lord! May his light be admired! May those who can see admire Shah Mardan’s light. Those who admire his light, friends of Shah Mardan, will get from his light. Take Divine Light, you will be all right. Without Divine Light you have nothing. May Allah, give us that Divine Light. There is a way: It is Shah Mardan. Take Divine Light from his way. The light that he gets from the Beloved of Allah.

O Shah Mardan, your friends admire you! May the blessings of this holy Juma’a be upon us. May its honor fall upon us. May the blessings that descend on the Ka’aba l-Muazzama be upon us! Faith be upon us! May our Lord and His Habib be pleased with us! May our day be good. May our end be good! O our Lord, may we not get tired, may we not get tired of Your servanthood. This is Shah Mardan’s will. Don’t get tired of being in the servanthood of Allah! If you are not getting tired, you will be given Divine Light. Divine Light opposes fire. Prefer light.

You will be highly regarded among earthly and heavenly beings. If the Lord says, “My Servant”, you will not be deprived. O Shah Mardan, your expression is beautiful. Your friends admire you.

This Juma’a is the last Juma’a of Rajab Shahrullah! We want that, before this holy month is completed, the followers of satan and satanic ones will vanish. Who is satan? The oppressor is.

May they fight each other. May they destroy and finish each other. May Allah protect us from falling to the evils of the ego! Beware! Watch your every step/action. What are you running after? Are you running after carcass or, are you after the Diwan of al-Haqq? O Shah Mardan, your friends admire you! How beautiful is your expression! May we open up, revive and get light.

May our joy increase. May our manners improve. O our Lord forgive us! For the sake of al-Habib al-Kibriya, may the blessings of today’s Juma’a is dressed on us. May happiness come to our beings, may our lives be honored. O our Lord! Accept us to Your service! May our end be good, may our days and lives be hayatun tayyiba, “sweet life”.

This is the way, the way that Shah Mardan showed us! O our Lord! Don’t part us from the way of Shah Mardan! For the sake of al-Habib al-Kibriya, Ya Rabbi, may the burden on us go away!

Let’s be like the swords drawn in Your Way. There is no way for oppressors. Allah will make oppressors fight each other. They will be punished by each other. Don’t be an oppressor otherwise you will fall into satan’s way. Keep Justice – the Lord will love you. Shah Mardan will praise you. May the light of Shah Mardan be dressed on us! O our Lord, give us the safety of belief, and the health of the body. Keep your way and path clean! May we keep Your Way and not leave it O Lord! O Shah Mardan, your friends admire you! May we not get tired. May we not get fed up, and may we run to the presence of that Sultan. “Ud’uni astajib lakum”(40:60) Janab Allah is saying, “Call me and I shall respond to you”. “I own everything; health and faith, honor and glory, I shall give you”.

Al Fatiha

Give us O Lord. We want from You! With the blessings of Ummuhan Sultan (Hala Sultan) strength is coming.

Al Fatiha

Escaping from Shaytan

Sultan ul Awliya Shaykh Muhammad Nazim Adil Al Haqqani Q.S (Alyaa Rehma),

Lecture dated: 06-08-1996,

Lefke – Cyprus

A short Association, because now our egoes are pleased that we just had a delicious dinner with every kind of Allah Almighty’s favors, so many n’imat [favors] granted us through the doctor’s generosity. And we are first thanking Dr. Akmal Khan; we must first say “Thank you” to you, to your family, and as you are giving your generosity to me and to my followers, Allah Almighty should reward you and your ancestors, blessing them and giving hidayat [guidance] for your descendants. May Allah bless everyone that is coming here, from far distances or near ones, and Allah Almighty rewards everyone according to their intentions. Allah Almighty is always looking at our hearts, what are our intentions.

And we are saying, “‘Audhu bil-Lah min ash-Shaytani-r-Rajeem, bismillahi-r-Rahmani-r-Raheem.”(1) We are escaping from Shaytan to Allah, to hide us. We are asking His divine shelter and His divine protection because it is so difficult for us to defeat Shaytan, because our egoes are also always going with Shaytan. If our egoes were not going with Shaytan, it would be easy, but our egoes and Shaytan are from the same characteristic. Shaytan was the first rebellious one toward Allah; in the Divine Presence, the first one who was rebellious was Shaytan, not anyone else before him. And he did his worst for his Lord, while it was right to do his best for his Lord, Allah Almighty, and Shaytan was cursed and kicked out of Heaven to earth.

And our egoes are also never accepting to be servants. Our nafs — that means ego — is never happy to be a servant to Allah Almighty. Therefore, the same characteristic in Shaytan is with our egoes. And when our egoes are with Shaytan, it is like a man and woman coming together and bringing forth a baby; nafs, our ego and Shaytan, when coming together, must give a birth to an evil, there must be an evil born.

Therefore, Allah Almighty, through His first Message to mankind, through the first man and first prophet, Sayyidina Adam, was advising His servants, “Don’t give a chance that Shaytan approaches you.” If you are giving that chance to him, sharr, evil, must come; a sin must must be there. A sin is born; when Shaytan and our ego go together, a sin quickly comes. Therefore, Allah Almighty is teaching, from the first prophet up today, that you must ask a shelter from Him from Shaytan. Therefore we have been ordered to say “Audhu bil-Lahi min ash-Shaytani-r- Rajeem.”

“Audhu bil-Lahi min ash-Shaytani-r-Rajeem” — that means we are weak ones. We aren’t able, by ourselves, to defeat him, to throw him away. Therefore we must ask divine help: “O our Lord, give us a shelter from Shaytan.” And Shaytan is everywhere and with everyone. No one is going to be without Shaytan; not any place, even holy places, where Shaytan is not there — everywhere. Only one place that no Shaytan is in; the only place that Shaytan is forbidden to be there, that is in K’abah. Shaytan can’t enter inside it — no. He can’t be there, or quickly he will be burned. Instantly he will be turned to be ashes; he can’t come inside it — prohibited. And also at the grave of the Prophet, turbatu-Rasool?(Peace & Blessing Upon Him (2)), inside it, he can’t be there, instantly burning and turning to ashes. But in every other place you can find so many shaytans, and also with you, coming with you, even sleeping with you, eating with you, walking with you.

When you are sleeping, he is sitting, not sleeping. Not sleeping and he is waiting for you, so that he may see you when you are waking up. If he sleeps, you may make wudhu and pray, but he is looking at you, if you are waking up and says, “Sleep, sleep. It is still dark. Don’t get up. You must sleep. Still a long time to morning.” Every time you are begin to wake up he says, “There is still a long time before adhan. (3) Sleep, sleep well.” Yes? Is it not so? Therefore, every time a person is waking up, Shaytan is saying to him, “Don’t get up. Sleep. It is so beautiful to sleep. Rest. Even now you are not resting; you are working too much and not resting, taking no pity on your own self. Sleep!”

Therefore, Shaytan is everywhere and with everyone. Never leaving you, always coming, saying to you, “I am your bodyguard; trust in me. I am guiding you to an excellent situation. Come with me, follow me.” “Follow me”; writing on his back and saying to everyone, “Follow me, follow me.” Just as it is written on some cars in an airport, “Follow me,” similarly Shaytan is going in front of everyone, man and women, writing and saying, “Follow me” — and not only writing “Follow me” but also with a microphone in his hand saying, “Please follow me! Follow me! Don’t look right and left but just follow me. I am with you always,” and people are running after him, day and night.

Therefore we must say, “‘Audhu bil-Lah min ash-Shaytani-r-Rajeem. O our Lord, we can’t do anything with Shaytan if You do not help us.” When you are saying “‘Audhu bil-Lah min ash-Shaytani-r-Rajeem,” he is jumping from here to a distance, but then, slowly, slowly, slowly running, approaching you. When you are saying “‘Audhu bil-Lah min ash-Shaytani-r-Rajeem,” it is like kicking a football, kicking him, “‘Audhu bil-Lah min ash-Shaytani-r-Rajeem” and throwing him away. Therefore, any time that you are feeling yourself in a bad situation and not able to take control of yourself, you must say “‘Audhu bil-Lah min ash-Shaytani-r-Rajeem, ‘audhu bil-Lah. ” At least seven times you can say it, and he is going to be tired, running away.

Yes. And we are saying “Bismillahi-r-Rahmani-r-Raheem.” If Allah Almighty does not help us, we can’t do anything. “Bismillahi-r-Rahmani-r-Raheem” means, “O my Lord, I am helpless, I am weak, and I am asking Your support, divine support. I am in need of Your blessings, I am in need of Your mercy, I am in need of Your favors. O my Lord, please grant me, please support me, to be able to do something, something for You.” Not something for anyone else. If you are doing something for anyone else, it is going to finish and vanish, but everything that you are doing for Allah, it is for you forever. It is impossible for it to be taken away, Allah Almighty keeping it in His treasures. When you are in need, at that time of most need for ourselves on the Day of Resurrection, we should ask help and He should give it to us.

Therefore, you must try to be with Allah, and whoever is with Allah, Allah Almighty, in every second, every minute, every hour, every day, every week, every month, every year, He will be supporting, and no one will come to Sheikh Nazim to say, “O Sheikh, pray for me because my business is getting bad, getting no more profit. Please pray to Allah for me.” Ya hu, I am saying, “Allah is closer to you than I am. Why are you not saying it to Him?” Allah is closer to His servants than themselves. “Wa ‘alamu anna Llahu yahulu baina-l-marri wa qalbihi” (4) — this holy verse is saying that Allah Almighty is coming in yourself and coming in your heart. And you can’t reach your heart; Allah is closer than you to your heart. No one can imagine how close He is to you. It must be so, because He is the Creator.

He is the Creator, and He creates what you are thinking and for what you are thinking and for what you are working and what is your purpose and what is your aim; He knows before you know it. I am saying, “Why are you not asking from Allah, coming to me and saying to me that ‘Pray for me,’ while between you and Allah Almighty there is nothing.” You can say, “O my Lord”; you can say, “Ya Rabb, ya Rabb, ya Rabbi,” and He is just reaching to you or He is just with you, because you can’t stand up without Allah’s Power; if His power does not go through your whole body, even through cells then you cannot function, cannot be alive. Cells must be alive with Allah Almighty’s power or even the smallest cell can’t be alive in your blood, in your brain, in your skin, in your flesh, in your organs. Every cell must be with its Lord and must glorify its Lord.

Therefore, we must try to reach a state that by praying we are able to reach Allah Almighty’s Will — that means, what He is asking for me, for you, for anyone else, and if you understand what is His will for you, then not to object to it, not to reject or object to Allah Almighty’s Will, and then you should be happy.

Try to be with Allah Almight’s Will. Don’t put your will in the place of your Lord’s Will, or don’t put your will against the Will of your Lord. Whoever puts his will in opposition to the Will of Allah, he is going to fall into an endless depression. Mostly depression is coming from that point, because you want something and Allah Almighty wants something else. And even if all mankind is going to insist on one purpose, they can’t change it, they can’t make their will to precede or subjugate Allah’s Will. If Allah Almighty says “No”, no one can make it “Yes”. If He says “Yes” for something, even if all nations say “No”, it must transpire as He wills.

Therefore, that is the most keen knowledge, keen treatment for depressed people. Depressed people must know that what they are saying “Yes” to is not going to be or what they are saying “No” to is not going to be. They must learn that only Allah Almighty can say “Yes;” in spite of all mankind saying “No!” If He says “Yes,” that must be. If all mankind says “Yes” and Allah Almighty says “No”, it is going not to be. That must be taught to everyone, because depression is increasing day-by-day, and it is a kind of punishment from Allah Almighty that His servants are not using their will and their minds for their actions; they are acting without using their minds and wills, and every time they are making mistakes.

Even a simple mistake harms people. What if you make an mistake, every time, every moment, every hour, every day coming against the Will of Allah, and your will makes mistakes? But now it is the time of atheist people; they are saying “No God.” Astaghfirullah(5) — no God but Allah! Allah is God. And they are not teaching about God in schools — it is forbidden in schools to be taught about Allah, and they are saying, “If anyone wants to know something about their Lord, there is the church. Go in and learn there.”

They are so proud of not putting it into the curriculum of students; they are saying, “If you want to ask about God, go. There is a church. This is something that you can believe or not believe — it doesn’t matter.” Put a symbol there — in the midst of universities, as a symbol, a symbol of mystery. I saw in Cambridge and Oxford, in universities, huge cathedrals, but they are not putting at the beginning of every knowledge the knowledge that leads us to Allah, to God. Therefore, their teachings are harmful and with no result, making people depressed, because if a person says “There is No Allah, no God”, that means he is in a situation where there is no any support from any direction and then he can fall down. Therefore, governments must change their educational policies, to put knowledge about Allah as the first lesson for little children all the way up to academic studies. They must say first, “In the name of Allah, All-mighty, All-Merciful, who created us, who granted us to be His servants.” As long as they do not put this, they are going to be in suffering, with no peace, and fighting continuing.

May Allah forgive us. Therefore, O people, listen and try to act, try to believe, try to act according to your beliefs. Don’t let Shaytan come to you so you can follow him. Shaytan is in Hell, and anyone following Shaytan is just going to fall into Hell. And the Prophet (Peace & Blessing Upon Him) is in Paradise; whoever wants to follow Him (Peace & Blessing Upon Him), he should reach the (Prophet Peace & Blessing Upon Him)

in Paradise. May Allah cause us to be in Paradise with His prophets, with His awliya (saints) and anbiya (Prophets) and with pure ones, and may He change this world to take away devils and to make us among His sincere servants so that we should reach happiness and contentment and pleasure from Allah Almighty.

How Shaytan Spreads His Anger?

Lecture Delivered by Sultan ul Awliya Shaykh Muhammad Nazim Adil Al Haqqani Q.S (Alyaa Rehma),

Lecture dated: Feb 06, 2010, Lefke – Cyprus

(Mawlana Shaykh stands.)

Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, la ilaaha illa-Llah w’Allahu akbar, Allahu akbar, wa lillahi ‘l-hamd. Whole glory, whole honors, whole majesty only for You, our Lord, our Creator. Thanks to You from pre-Eternal to Eternal. O our Lord, forgive us, we are weak servants! O our Lord, for your most honored one, Sayyidina Muhammad (Peace & Blessing Upon Him), forgive us yaa Rabbee, yaa Rabbee! Tawbah yaa Rabbee, tawbah yaa Rabbee, forgive us, we are weak! Give us Your heavenly support! (Mawlana Shaykh sits.)

O Listeners! As-salaamu `alaykum. We are (listeners), because even some or handful of people may listen to grants of heavens coming down. O our Lord! We are so weak ones. For the honor of your most honored one through Your Divine Presence, Sayyidina Muhammad (Peace & Blessing Upon Him), (Mawlana Shaykh stands and sits) give us much more ability, capacity for keeping Your orders, keeping Your most high respect. Your respected one, most honored one though Your Divine Presence, for his honor we hope, O our Lord, for Your Mercy Oceans. Even one spot may clean ourselves in a second or less time measure. You can do everything, You are Lord. You are our Creator. Everything from You, it is pleasure for us. Every addressing through Your holy book, Holy Qur’an, it is an endless respect, endless pleasure, endless majesty spots running like rains, raining on ourselves, O our Lord!

Allah Allah, Allah Allah, Allah Allah, `Azeez Allah

Allah Allah, Allah Allah, Allah Allah, Kareem Allah

Allah Allah, Allah Allah, Allah Allah, Subhaan Allah

Allah Allah, Allah Allah, Allah Allah, Sultaan Allah

Every addressing giving to Your servants endless honor! Allah, Allah! We are keeping or not, but that honor is such a big grant, no one can imagine. To make good servants in His Heavenly Presence and to speak and to address to Him endless honor, endless honor.

O our Salafi `ulamas! Once upon a time you are very zidi, serious ones, you never smile at anyone, you are always very angry with people, particularly those who you are saying about them sometimes ‘mushriq,’ and you are saying sometimes, ‘kafir.’ If anyone looking at you, they are fearing from your bad characteristics! One question we may ask, laa hawla wa laa quwatta illa billahi ‘l-`Aliyyu ‘l-`Azheem. One important question and I am asking to those who thinking they are most important ones, Salafi `ulama. Never laughing or smiling, always looking to people with anger. Why are you looking to people so angry? Who created you, created ourselves also. Why you are angry with creatures? He is happy and we are laughing, yes. He is our Creator, our Lord, but you are always looking to us with anger.

O our Listeners! As-salaamu `alaykum. You know that no one can claim, “I am a powerful one,” and if someone saying, “I am an important one,” and he likes to be an important one.

O People! Who created ourselves making us to be sometimes crying, sometimes smiling, sometimes laughing? Yes? Like Abdur Ra`uf, sometimes very angry looking, sometimes smiling, he is happy. (laughter) Once upon a time he had a car and another car coming on him, that time, he forgot smiling, laughing, he was so angry, swearing on people, yes. What you are saying, that the Lord of Heavens, Allah (swt)… (Mawlana Shaykh stands.) We can stand up. The angels laughing through Your Divine Presence, never getting tiring, never shikwa, complaining, they are happy to be in front of their Lord! (Mawlana Shaykh sits.)

Yaa Sayyidi, yaa Sultan al-Awliya, we are asking support of our qutb, who is looking after everything for every moment, through oceans, through continents. Who granted someone for His servants such a power? That power in our vision is so big, but for the Lord of Heavens, laa uzkar, never mentioned. Allah, Allah.

And we are saying, a`oodhu billahi min ash-Shaytaani ’r-rajeem, because so many people following satanic teachings.

I am asking to Salafi `ulamas a question. If they may say to me that is Shaytan any time smiling or laughing? Answer? No answer. “No,” I may say. He is always in anger, and anger belongs to fire. Because he had been created from fire, never knowing to be happy with people. Always anger surrounding him, from the time that Allah Almighty ordering to angels, “Bow to Adam,” his anger just appeared. From that day up to today, Shaytan never getting to be smiling or laughing or to say, “I am happy.” Always he is in anger and anger is from fire. But anger’s fire does not belong to his fire, that is created. Therefore, he is angry one by creation and after holy command of Allah Almighty, ordering to bow to Adam, his fire under ashes, just open and zhahir, flames appeared. It was under ashes and when that command coming, “Bow to Adam!” then suddenly opening and suddenly flames running from north to south, from east to west, covering this Creation.

Therefore, now from that time up to end, up to the Day of Resurrection, that flames of Iblees, Shaytan, never coming down, but getting more and more and he was thinking that he was happy. When whole people falling through his flames and burning, he is going to be so happy. Yes, from that time, not from inside, but he is Shaytan, going to be happy and not smiling, but laughing when he was looking at people through flames, burning. He is getting full happy and not smiling, but laughing. That is his mission. “I shall burn Mankind on this dunya. I am not leaving them to be happy, never to be happy. And I shall use all my possibility and effort for burning Mankind.” He was swearing, swearing. Therefore, from that time he began to make people to cry, not to laugh. And he is doing countless disease, countless tricks and countless traps for Mankind to make them always in Sorrow Oceans.

And now he is saying that, “O, I reached top point of my target. O the Lord of Creation, You are looking and seeing that You granted to me to be free up to Day of Resurrection and I am doing with Your servants and I am making Man not to be happy, not to be enjoyful, and not to be joyful nor in happiness. Look, my Lord, look!” Saying one angel, yusubuku, swearing at Shaytan, FFFEEE “SHUT UP, DIRTY ONE!” Heavenly arrow reaching to him, one angel. Shaytan saying, “I did to your servants not to be happy through their whole lives on Earth, I did it.” And that angel saying, “SHUT UP, DIRTY ONE!” and from that haybat, greatness from that angel shouting, he falls down and for 40 years he can’t move! O our Lord! Forgive us and make us not to fall down into Shaytan’s traps!

And after that, Shaytan not smiling or speaking anything. So that one after sultans, after kings, after emperors, who just falling in a Misery Ocean or they are falling in Suffering Oceans, that you can’t find now on Earth one person to be happy! All of them just falling through darkness of miseries, through troubles, that no one can bring any solution for Mankind’s troubles now. Finished. Man, now they forget to laugh and they forget also smiling. When they forget smilings, Shaytan is taking his head and looking east and west and saying, “O my beloved ones, O my followers, I am taking you to a plain that you should be there, happy, happy, happy.” What we can do? Shaytan’s deputies saying to his real followers like Stalin, like Lenin, like Hitler, like Mussolini, like Franco, like Castro, like Mao, yes. Making them, saying to them, “Get up! Wake up! Now it is time for you! Do everything! I am giving to you all that I have. What I can’t do with my hands, I am giving my hands to you. And what I am thinking to do from badness and from oppression, I am granting to you to do that!”

Each one of them just slaughtered and killed hundreds of millions of people from French Revolution up to today, killing millions of people, killing good ones, not bad ones, good ones, so that whole world going to be under their control. And as saying the Seal of Prophets (s) `ahd al-jabaabirah (Period of Tyrants):

وبعد الملوك الجبابرة

wa min ba`di ‘l-mulooki jabaabiratun, “After kings, and sultans, and padishahs, and emperors, coming soldiers.”

And Shaytan saying, “I am sending certified doctors from my academy to do every evil and dirtiness and oppressions from Mankind.”

Only from the time of French Revolution up to today, in 200 years perhaps 500 milllion people just killed, no doubt, no doubt! Now people they are looking themselves, “What you are doing? How we can save ourselves? What is coming on us?”

And Allah looking and saying, “Your Lord’s command was, ‘Be My servants and follow true ones. That’s what I am saying to you. Be sadiq, good ones.” But you left to be good ones, coming to be bad ones, and troubles coming on you! Countless troubles, countless killings, countless dirty people making their worst for nations, killing and doing every badness because people following them and refusing to follow Allah Almighty’s chosen ones! He said, “O People! follow true ones.” And you leaving that and following Shaytan’s representatives everywhere, even here!

A big lesson for nations, but yet they are insisting to follow them. Fighting to sultans, fighting to kings, and they are taking bad ones with them and they are doing bad things, oppression, burning, destroying, killing, and doing every badness and then they are saying through TV’s or radio or computer, saying through east and west, “We are best ones.” But they are worst ones and making declaration, “We are best for you.” No they are not best one! Sultans did their best, kings did their best for servants of their Lord, but now you are doing your best for Shaytan!

Countries now happy and in pleasure? No. But throwing stones like this, like this, then getting to be underground, finished, passed away, everywhere troubles, crises, never-ending.

Al Fatiha

Lesson: 15

The First Man

Sultan ul Awliya Shaykh Muhammad Nazim Adil Al Haqqani Q.S (Alyaa Rehma),

Lecture dated: July 04, 1988,

Lefke – Cyprus

This old world is getting adorned and decorated to trick us. 124,000 prophets came to this world and left. The first person is the first Prophet. And Allah Almighty created the first person in paradise. And then He created his wife from Adam himself. And that is why women are close / familiar to men. And then Allah Almighty made the 8 heavens halal (permissible) for them.

When we say 8 heavens, it isn’t a place that can be measured with the measures of dunya (this world). Why not? The last person who will enter paradise, Allah Almighty decides who will enter paradise last, that person is the last one to be taken out of hellfire.

The last person to stay in hellfire will shout – Ya Hannan, Ya Mannan. Ya Hannan, Ya Mannan.

Allah Almighty with His Magnificence and Greatness, will order the keeper of hellfire, the angel Malik (alayhi salam) – “One of My servants remains in hellfire and is calling Me, Ya Hannan Ya Mannan. Take him and bring him out” He orders. Malik (alayhi salam) who knows the 7 hells as well as you know the inside of your house, searches everywhere but cannot find that person. He falls into sajdah (prostration) and says – Ya Rabbi, I couldn’t find that servant You told me. Only

You know where that servant is. So Allah Almighty will say to him – there is a certain place in hell where there is a river and it’s fire is very intense. There is a well inside that river. Inside that well, My servant is imprisoned. He is being intensely punished but he is calling My Name, Ya Hannan, Ya Mannan.

And Malik (alayhi salam) goes to the place where Allah Almighty instructed. There is nothing hidden from Allah Almighty. He sees that the person is tied with chains and is inside a coffin. Because of the fire, he was imprisoned inside the coffin. Malik (alayhi salam) takes him into his hand once and breaks those chains. After breaking the chains, the top of his body, is everywhere covered with either scorpions, or snakes or big spiders, or poisonous snakes and all types of poisonous insects. Allahumma ‘afina. Everywhere on his body they were poisoning him and tormenting him. Malik (alayhi salam) took him and with one shake, all those creatures fell off. He took him is he black or white, rock or wood, is he human, it isn’t clear. He takes him out of there.

At the gate of paradise, there are 2 rivers flowing. He throws him into one of the rivers. Before entering paradise, until arriving at the gate of paradise, everyone comes with their worldly appearance. Then at the gate of paradise, they will be put into one of the rivers. All those who go into that river, the men will become handsome like Yusuf (alayhi salam) the ladies will become more beautiful than Huri women. Everyone’s bodies will be changed. The worldly bodies of men and women will disappear. No one gets fed up from looking at them. A man will not get fed up from looking at his woman. A woman will not get fed up from looking at her man. Love and longing will increase and never decrease. Once he throws him in there (river) his ugly appearance disappears and a person appears who is 33 years old like Isa (alayhi salam) and handsome like Yusuf (alayhi salam).

There is a second river. And everyone will drink from the second river. Whoever drinks from that river, badness, envy, hate, enmity, malice, arrogance, pride, jealousy… none of these bad characteristics will remain in his heart. He will become clean. His heart will be pure. That person who came out last, washed in that river and became 33 years old and handsome like Yusuf (A.S).

Whoever drinks from this river will also have a clean heart. An addressing from Allah Almighty comes saying to enter paradise. That person will approach and when he comes close to the gate of paradise, it will look as if the whole of paradise is full. There is no place. He becomes ashamed and steps back. He is addressed again to enter paradise. He approaches again and looks inside paradise. He sees that the whole of paradise is full. He steps back again. He becomes ashamed and steps back.

Allah Almighty addresses that person a third time – enter My paradise. I am giving you a paradise that is 10 times bigger than this world. That is for the last person entering paradise.

Three quarters of our world is water. And three quarters of the one-quarter of land is useless: Deserts, icebergs, mountains, rocks – three quarters of the land is like this. But what is meant is that if you flatten the whole world and put 10 of them side by side. And there are no deserts in paradise. There is no ice. Not one little area in paradise is desert or dry or useless. It is full of blessings. Everywhere is like that. If you hold out your hand, you will find blessings. There are no empty / useless places. If you take this world 10 times and spread it out on one surface, and decorate it with endless decorations – that is the paradise that the last person to enter will get.  10 times this world. All these millions & billions of people and the nation of Muhammad will enter. You cannot even imagine the vastness of the paradises given to them.

Allah Almighty created Adam and Eve there, He created them in paradise. And He made all the paradises halal (permissible) for them. Everything belongs to you. You can eat and drink as you like. I made My 8 heavens halal for you. He said – I only make one tree haram (forbidden) for you. Just one tree. There are countless, endless trees. Among all the endless blessings and favours, just one is forbidden for you. Do not go close to it. All the other ones you can go, eat, drink, do what you like because I gave you permission. But don’t come close to this one. Those are My orders and I forbid you to eat from this tree, He said.

But the nature of mankind is to run to the thing that is forbidden to him. Why was this made forbidden for us? Does it belong to Him? Why did He make it forbidden for us? They were saying this and they left all the other paradises and came and stood in front of that tree and

looked at it. They insisted on eating from that tree. But you were told not to. But we must eat. That is how people are. They do not accept advice. If you tell them for their own good, they turn against you. They don’t like it and deny it. Then they fall into that trouble and then they regret it and cry. But then there is no benefit, it’s too late.

And they walked around and came and stood in front of that tree. Should we try or not? Should we eat or not? Our mother Eve said – let me try it. I’ll try first then you can try. First she, then Prophet Adam (alayhi salam) ate from it and all blessings become haram (forbidden) for disobedient ones. Allah Almighty said – you have been disobedient to Me. All the blessings of paradise which were halal for you have now become haram. You can no longer eat one bite from here. Finished. You must leave. And the first people, Hz. Adam and Hz. Eve were sent down to earth. The angels brought them down. When they were brought down, Angels brought Adam (alayhi salam) to Sarandib, or Ceylon. They brought mother Eve to Jeddah. They were separated. Imagine – they were taken from paradise and brought down to earth which is dark and full of wildness everywhere. Imagine their condition at that moment. How difficult it was for them. There are no people on earth. There are animals but no people.

Earth has no joy without humans. That is why each person has a role in making earth more joyful. For example if you decorate a place with a thousand little light bulbs, each light bulb contributes to that decoration. If one is missing, the decoration is less. And each person is a decoration for this earth. Imagine Istanbul without people. If you went by yourself, it would seem like a wild place. How can it be without any people? That means the presence of people on earth gives this world life and decoration. Without people, it would fade away. They were sent down all by themselves, and sent far apart. They were sent down into a dark earth at night. They were continuously crying. Finally at dawn, there was light. When he saw that light coming, Adam (alayhi salam) got up and prayed 2 rak’ats of prayer because the darkness was fading and light was starting to come. And that is why the morning prayer (Fajr) started from Hz. Adam.

Whoever is careful to pray Fajr prayer, whether it is before or after sunrise, there is no harm. It is good to pray when the Adhan is called, but there is no harm if you cannot pray at that time. Those who wake up after sunrise, can pray 2 raka’at whenever they can. Fajr prayer is most the precious & valuable among the 5 prayers. After Fajr prayer is the time when daily provisions are divided and shared. Those who have limited provision should pray Fajr prayer, their provisions will increase. Many people complain that their share of provisions is limited. It is not. Pray Fajr prayer on time and it will open, without a doubt. Someone who prays Fajr and still complains should come to me and I will tell him something else to open up his provision.

He prayed 2 raka’at when the light first shone. Allah Almighty ordered the nation of Muhammad to pray those 2 raka’ats as a gift from Prophet Adam. They will be saved from darkness. Those with troubles in their heart will be saved from those worries. Those with darkness in their hearts will be enlightened if they pray Fajr prayer. They were send to earth and Allah Almighty said to them – I have now ordered for you to be sent to earth. Because you cannot stay in paradise. Those who are disobedient to Me cannot stay in My paradise. I have made My paradise haram for disobedient ones. Go down to earth. Repent for your disobedience. I will send you those who will show you the way to paradise.

I am not banishing you the same way as satan who Allah Almighty banished with His Divine Wrath. He was angry with satan. Why? Satan became proud, stubborn, arrogant and that is how it disobeyed Allah Almighty’s order. It said to Allah Almighty – If You didn’t will it, I wouldn’t be disobedient. And there are some confused people who say this. They do bad things, and are disobedient then they say – that is what Allah wanted; That is what He wrote for me and that’s why I did it. Well then when you go to the court, why don’t you say – this was Allah’s will that I do this action. Why do you want to imprison me? Why don’t you imprison the One who wrote my fate. Astaghfirullah. Yes. Satan was guilty but it felt powerful at the same time. It was disobedient yet it wanted to blame its disobedience on Allah. It said – You made me disobedient like this. Hasha. And Allah banished it and punished it.

Adam (alayhi salam) ate even though he wasn’t supposed do but he said – O our Lord, we have been unjust to ourselves, said Hz. Adam. That means he accepted his sin. If a person accepts his sin and says – Ya Rabbi, I have been disobedient, I am a sinner, I made a mistake, then Allah Almighty is ready to forgive him. But if he is stubborn and says – no we don’t have any sins. What are we doing, what sins do we have? If he says that, if he cannot be modest enough to say – Ya Rabbi, Tawba Ya Rabbi, our faults are many, we are disobedient. If he is not modest enough to ask for forgiveness, then he is is also satan. Adam (alayhi salam) said – Ya Rabbi, we have been unjust to ourselves, we made a mistake. If You don’t forgive us, we will be destroyed. With this Adab, when he pleaded with Adab (manners) to Allah Almighty. O Adam, I forgive you and I forgive those of your descendants who repent to Me like this. And I will send them guides who will show them and guide them to the ways leading to eternal paradise, My paradise, My eternal paradises. And when they go astray, I will send them those who will send them to the way of faith, O Adam.

And that is why Hz. Adam was first a Prophet for his own children. And when he said – O my children, your mother and I came here from heavens. Some of his children accepted, others didn’t believe it. Hz. Adam was brought down from heavens, some of his children didn’t accept – no we don’t believe it. We saw you on earth. When were you in paradise? Where is paradise?

How can it be? We didn’t see it, we don’t believe it. And they became kafir (disbelievers). These were Hz. Adam’s children. Mankind is stubborn. They only believe after seeing. What value does it have to believe after seeing? When you are being examined, if they give you the answers next to the questions, then that exam has no meaning or logic. Of course it must be hidden to see if you will accept or not. Allah is saying – there is paradise and hellfire. If you insist – I must see before believing… The concept of faith/belief disappears after you are seeing.

Is there gold or silver in my hand? What is it? Or is it empty? Or I closed my hand and there is gold inside. I am asking if you believe. Well, open your hand so we can see and then answer. If they say that, then there is no value left (in their answer). Allah Almighty is testing His servants.

He is saying – I created you. They say – No. Then who created you? Our mother and father. If our mom and dad created us, that means they have the power to bring us into existence. If they have this power to bring us into existence, they why can’t they protect their own existence? Why do they die? If they bring us into existence, then why don’t they protect their own existence? Why do they surrender to death and leave? And a few years after dying and being buried in the grave, their bodies disappear from there also. That means, our existence is not from our mother and father. The mother and father are just a means. The father gives the mother a drop of water. And with the mother’s it becomes 2 drops.

After that, what contribution do the mom and dad have? Who is the one who is constantly working to prepare it and give it a human appearance? He(swt) does everything. Who is the one who brings that baby in the womb into existence? Is it by himself? That means there is someone who gives us existence. You can call it whatever you want, but that One is Allah. And Prophet Adam had some children who didn’t believe. They said – we don’t believe that you and our mom came from heaven. Because we only saw you here on earth. They say they don’t believe. And the other children said that they believe. The issue of believing or not believing started from the first people until now. It will never end. This world was never inhabited entirely with believing people. There have always been those who believe and those who don’t. And the argument between them has always continued.

Many people are now complaining to me that they are speaking with others. Students don’t believe, their teachers don’t believe, those educating us don’t believe, so and so doesn’t believe.

Those who don’t believe will never finish. There will always be those like Abu Jahl and those who think like him. And satan and those like him will never finish. Pharaoh and those like him will never finish. Nimrod and those like him will never finish. You can find them, since the beginning of this world until the end it will continue like this. And Allah Almighty sends a prophet after Adam (alayhi salam) whenever corruption increases on earth. And that prophet brings power and authority and miracles. And pulls the servants to the way of paradise. O people, this is the way to paradise. You have gone astray, this is the right way. The right way takes you to happiness. Those who believe and follow them find happiness.

And 124,000 Prophets have come like this and the last Prophet is our Master alayhi salatu wa salam. And since he came, 1400 years passed. It has been 1400 years since the last prophet. 1400 isn’t a short time. And no other Prophet will come. Salat and Salam to all those prophets. We are living in these moments that we are in now. We are constantly speeding towards the future and towards the end that was written for us. Everyone has an appointed station, a stop. Everyone will find their own stop and everyone will get down at their own stop. But the rest will continue. Some will get off at this stop, others at that stop, others further down. They will be dropped off.

And we are living in the moments, seconds, minutes that we are found in now.

For now, our community is set up here. After a while, that community will also disperse. It will be among the millions and trillions of assemblies from the past. And the assemblies of today will also close. It will close like those in the past. And tomorrow’s assembly will start. And tomorrow night, tomorrow’s assembly will disappear like those in the past. And like this, we are reaching closer to a goal. And one day we will come to our last stop, and they will take us and say – it is your turn, come. And that person will be transferred to an eternal life. Every person will definitely be moved from this temporary life to the eternal life.

The important thing is that during this short life, our personality will be assigned. When we say personality, people have 2 types of personalities on earth. Either they will be moved to the eternal life with an acceptable personality, or they will be cursed and moved to the eternal life with a bad personality that is not acceptable. You are free. If you want to decide how your personality will be moved to eternal life, then you have to be careful. Now there is a new fashion that people are doing on tombstones. For those people who have no titles written on their tombstone, like sir or pasha or governor, or any other title, what are they writing for them? They write “A Good Person”. MashaAllah. I’m congratulating you. If that person is really what they write on the tombstone, then that’s good. To write “A Good Person” on tombstones has become a tradition.

Let’s see if your personality really was good when they are moving you from this world to eternal life.

If he really is good and his conscience is clean, then how happy for him. But don’t think that a good person means someone with money, wealthy, educated, or someone with high ranks. That is not it. Your personality will be determined by your spiritual rank. To which spiritual rank did you reach? That is the way it is. You have a soul. You are a human. You are not from other creatures. Therefore you have a spiritual level. And you are the one who has been invited for spiritual ranks. Which spiritual rank did you reach that they are writing “good person” on your tombstone? What is wanted of you is your level according to spiritual ranks. Look at yourself. In 24 hours of your life, which service did you do to make yourself reach spiritual ranks? Your service for 24 hours is only for your body, which will rot away. Unfortunately it is like this. Everyone is working for their bodies which will rot away. Working to make their bodies live well. To feed & water it well, dress it well, entertain it well, and letting it live well.

What other purpose do people have now? Who is working to reach spiritual ranks? The prayer we are praying now is not true. Those who are busy with this world are trying to squeeze prayer into their busy schedules, they quickly pray to get it out of the way. Our personality manifests in our spirituality. And you are responsible for that. And within 24 hours, you must do your service to gain higher spiritual ranks for yourself. Within 24 hours, you should assign some time in order to bring your personality to a full and perfect level. If you show a little himmah (intention/aspiration) for that way, then Allah Almighty will support you with His Care. If you make one step, He will bring you closer to your goal 10 steps. That’s why the world is now about to finish its journey. Or it’s about to finish its days. And every person is coming closer to finishing their days as the days pass. But are they able to fulfill or perfect their spirituality as the days pass or not? They must pay attention to that.

All these people, most of them are in depression. And the only reason for this is because they neglect their spirituality. As long as our souls are not content / satisfied, we become depressed. No doctor or judge can find a cure. Neither with pills nor medicine is there a cure. It is impossible to treat it because it is our soul that is troubled. If you don’t cheer up your soul, you cannot overcome spiritual depression. The joy of the soul, spiritual service is the joy of worship. Without the joy of worship, the soul cannot have joy. And that is why I am telling our daughter here to pray at least 2 raka’at in the morning and it will definitely enlighten the soul. And we will not say no to those who want more. And we are recommending everyone to try / strive to bring their true personality into the open and to increase their spiritual ranks within the 24 hours. And after the individual sees the benefit, the whole community will have their troubles lifted as a result. It will allow the community to be better, and for the troubles of the community to decrease, and for the afflictions of the community to lessen.

Okay, this much is enough for you, InshaAllah. Wa min Allah at-tawfiq. May Allah Almighty make you successful. You listened to us, Inshallah there will be spiritual strength & connection to your hearts.

GENERAL ANSWER TO ALL QUESTIONS

By Sultan ul Awliya Shaykh Muhammad Nazim Adil Al Haqqani Q.S (Alyaa Rehma),

Lecture dated: 30-04-1989, Lefke – Cyprus

In the name of Allah, Almighty, Most Merciful, Most Beneficent.  So many people come with so many questions and so many complaints.

And now I want to speak and give an answer to everyone’s complaints.  Everyone wants to talk to me in private.  I am now saying general things and everyone can take something for themselves.

Keep your question in your heart.  The Prophet (Peace & Blessing Upon Him) say that the work of a mu’min, a true believer, is always good and useful.  Any situation is good for a Muslim: either he or she is in happy circumstances by divine favor, and when they are happy they feel gratitude to their Lord, and for this Allah Almighty will reward them or they are in an unfortunate situation because this life is not just a happy event.  Sometimes you are happy, sometimes you are unhappy.  And when difficult situations arise, we are unhappy.  You cannot go a third way: either happy or unhappy.  Yes, that is the general situation.  The lowest level of human beings is doing things that make them happy and doing things that make them unhappy.  When you are happy you must thank the Lord of the heavens and earth.  And when you get miserable you have to be patient, you have to be patient.  This is the lowest standard of believers, and it also applies to non-believers.  If you are happy, show your joy, if you are unhappy, show no joy, then you are sad.  Sadness will never leave a person unless they are patient.  Being patient makes sadness go away.  You can’t find any other way to take the sadness away from you other than to be patient.  Only patience can eliminate them, no other way, no other method.  You can use these and the sadness will leave you.

Don’t think like most people do these days.  When they fall into unhappy circumstances, they want to get out of those circumstances.  Then they use terrible and dangerous methods.  They are trying to break free of circumstances in order to flee from themselves.  To do this, they use dangerous things, with the help of which they leave their personality and go into an imaginary world to be there for a while.  This is why when people who are at their lowest level when they get into trouble and get sad say,

“Come on and have a few bottles to forget.”

This is the lowest act for people who are on the lowest level, who want to forget and lose their memory.  They want to switch off the memory, they try to forget their memory, and in doing so they lose the staff of power.  They forget for a while, and when the memory comes back they find themselves in even deeper depression.

We say something about patience.  Only patience takes away the sadness from you.  You know this life is not forever – for no one.  It’s only for a while.  And our physical form is such that we usually live to be sixty to seventy years old.  When a difficult situation comes to you, you have to try to be patient and tell yourself, “There is something and I carry this burden. But I don’t know for how long, maybe just one night, maybe until tomorrow, maybe one  Week, maybe a month, maybe a year. But it’s not forever.” If you make the time span shorter, then you are giving yourself a support to be patient.  Be patient.  A new change can come.

O humanity, new changes can come at any moment.  Only belief, a strong belief, can give you hope and teach you not to lose hope.  In a moment the whole world and everything on it can change.  Making change for individuals or for all is not too much for the Creator.  So many have problems, some because of their children, some because of their soul, some because of their illness, some because of marriage, some because of divorce, some because of business, some because of health, some because of wealth, some because of upbringing.  We all have to put them under the same umbrella: be patient and look to the opening of your Lord.  And you can use the sura of opening, Al-Fatiha, the first sura of the Holy Quran.  If the doors are locked to you, then you can read the sura of the opening, from forty times to a hundred times, from a hundred times to seven hundred times, from seven hundred times to a thousand times.  Then if nothing opens, come to me, I’ll take something to open.  And do it at night when people have gone to sleep and no one is rebellious against Allah.  During this time you can quickly come to the divine presence.  Yes, do it at this time, get up and wash yourself, then do a sajda (prostration) as you know it, in love and respect for Him, He accepts it.  When you say, Ya Rabb, He is so pleased with you;  if you say: O my Lord, then He is happy.

But don’t come without an ablution, i.e. a shower or simple ablution in rituals.  This is an order from the first to the last person.  This cleanliness is a must.  When you sit down, your place has to be clean.  Then your clothes must be clean, and you too must be clean in your heart in order to be able to turn your heart in the direction of the divine presence.  Then He looks after you.  And read the sura of the opening.  If you can find another, equally powerful sura in the Old or New Testament, then use it, I don’t mind.  When you find something more powerful, apply it and see what comes to your heart from it and follow it.  Be patient, you can practice it for forty days.  If your situation doesn’t open up then, come to me.  I’ll look for another way then, put you in a rocket and send you to the moon.  Maybe then you will be closer to your Lord.

This is the general treatment for anyone with private questions, or for general questions that affect all of humanity, for everything and forever.  When your Lord creates an opening, He says: What is my servant doing?  Does he forget me or does he thank me?  Is he still holding on to me or not? ”I know some people in my home country who only come to me to complain.  If Allah Almighty brings some solutions for you through me, they will never come back and forget me.  Then when you are in trouble again, remember quickly and come running to me: O Sheikh, what should we do?  And I look and think it must be a new problem because if you don’t have any problems then you don’t know me.

Allah Almighty asks when His servant goes through problems: “Is he screaming, scolding, or turning to me? And when I give him or her what you need, I see whether you thank me or not.”  Therefore you must be grateful for every favor that comes from your Lord.  There is one attribute I love about people from the west: when you give them a little thing, they say Oh, thank you.  Thank you so many times, thank you.  I say there you go, there you go.  Very clever.  I like that. It’s a very good custom and I love it when you do the same for your Lord.  But I don’t think they do.  They only do it among themselves, but not for their Lord, because if they did it for their Lord, this life would change.  And He can change it in a moment, can turn hearts by His powerful hand in a moment, as fast as your eyes turn;  because it is also he who turns your gaze to himself.  And so too are hearts in His hands, in the hands of Allah Almighty.  He can change everything.

And I’m looking for a change from bad to good.  I’m not saying that He changes good into bad, no.  When He gives good, keep the good in your heart.  Only if you do not thank your Lord from your heart for good will black spots appear on the light that has made your heart bright, and they become more and more numerous until the heart is completely covered by them and finally closes.  Therefore, when Allah supports you with His endless favor, be grateful and praise Him for He loves to be praised.  Allah Almighty commands: “O people, o my servants, if I give you something, then say: My Lord gives me this favor and supports me here and there’, because I love it when my servant says this. ”  Yes, He gives everything to us as long as you say that and praise Him.  He loves to be praised.  And He is praised from the beginning to forever.  When you praise Him, you also respect yourself. You are then on the way to being praised in the divine presence too.  On the other hand, Allah Almighty does not love it if one is not patient and complains to Him.  He loves to be praised because He pays you for your patience with everlasting life.  He doesn’t employ His servants for nothing, no.  He always pays;  endless paying for patience.  Be a little patient.

Imam Ghazzali, Allah bless him, is a famous man in the east and west.  And now there are some stubborn people who criticize this brilliant scholar.  He taught the entire umma (community of believers), and he used an example to explain how important it is to be patient: “O people, when someone gets sick, the doctor says to him: ‘My friend, when you are well  you are not allowed to drink for three days. If you are patient for only three days, you will be able to live your whole life in joy and safety again. ‘”Be patient with the difficulties of this life, and Allah will give you the  eternal life will be rewarded.

WE HAVE BEEN CREATED FOR THE HEREAFTER

Lecture by Hazrat Shaykh Muhammad Mehmet ar-Rabbani Q.S,

Lecture dated: 10 January 2021/26 Jumada al-Awwal 1442,

Sabah Namaz, Akbaba Darga, Istanbul, Turkey

Assalamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullah wa Barakatuh,

Auzu Billahi Minashaytanir Rajeem. Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem, Wassalatu Wassalamu ala Rasulina Muhammadin Sayyidul Awwalin wal Akhirin, Madad Ya Rasulallah, Madad Ya As’habi RasuLillah, Madad Ya Mashayikhina, Sheykh Abdullah Daghestani, Sheykh Nazim al-Haqqani. Dastur.

Tariqatunas sohba, wal khayru fil jamiyya.

Our Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم states in the Hadith Sharif:

اخشوا شنوا فإن النعم لا تدوم

“Blessings and bounties aren’t continuous, they don’t go on forever so get used to hardship too”, says the Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم. It’s not going to be easy all the time. Therefore, during easy and good times, prepare and get yourself used to hard times. Get used to it so that it doesn’t affect you and then you’ll be at ease. But when those who get used to ease and comfort all the time face the smallest hardship, they get very sad and their morale goes down, their health decreases and they get upset about everything. We are not created for this world; we are created for the hereafter. This world is sometimes good and sometimes bad, it’s sometimes beautiful and sometimes ugly, it differs all the time. There’s no such thing as: ‘it’s going to be easy all the time.’ The state of affairs changes in this world. In order for it not to change for us, make yourselves used to hardship too, just as our Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said. When this is the case, a person wouldn’t get saddened or upset, he wouldn’t complain and wouldn’t mind losing things.

Our Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم has informed us everything, such as how we’re supposed to live and how we should spend our days in this temporary world. The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم is a guide for us. In order for us to reach salvation and safety, he صلى الله عليه وسلم has given us hadiths, advices and instructions that will be enough for us until the day of judgment. Those who follow him will not be sad in this world and will be in felicity in the next world. They’ll be in felicity and happiness both in this world and in the hereafter, but the hereafter is what’s important.

There are some people who say that they’re living in happiness in this world, they’re lying, they have no peace or tranquility. But those who believe in Allah جل جلاله and have faith (iman) will have no worries in this world and will reach felicity in the hereafter, even if he was the poorest person. This is what the Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم and all the Prophets taught. They taught people goodness and forbid them from evil. But son of maisn’t listening to them, he’s going after shaytan instead. People are doing things that aren’t useful for them but will rather harm and sadden them. They run after such things and then say:

We are ruling this world, they’re not ruling it, everything is in the hands of Allah جل جلاله. May Allah جل جلاله give more strength to our faith and may He help muslims.

Allah جل جلاله can make the hard easy, there’s nothing hard in the sight of Allah جل جلاله. It’s the prayer of the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم: “Make what is hard easy for us”. May Allah جل جلاله help us all. May Allah جل جلاله send the Sahib (owner) insha’Allah. Wa Minallah at-Tawfeeq.

Accept Everything Allāh Almighty Gives You

Lecture by Shaykh Mehmet Adil al-Ḥaqqānī,

Ṣuḥbah of the 6th of July, 2021, Lefke – Cyprus

A‘ūdhu bi-Llāhi mina sh-shayṭāni r-rajīm. Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm. Aṣ-ṣalātu wa-s- Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-awwalīna wa-l-ākhirīn. Madad yā Rasūla Llāh, madad yā Sādātī Aṣḥābi Rasūli Llāh, madad yā Mashāyikhanā, dastūr Mawlānā Shaykh ‘Abdu Llāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistānī, Shaykh Muḥammad Nāẓim al-Ḥaqqānī. Madad. Ṭarīqatuna ṣ-ṣuḥbah, wa-l-khayru fi l-jam’iyyah.

Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm. “Wa-mā qadarū Llāha ḥaqqa qadrihi” (39:67), says Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. They don’t know Allāh Azza wa-Jalla as much as they don’t know, they don’t value Him In fact, “Wa-s-samāwātu maṭwiyyātun bi yamīnihī” (39:67). Heavens and earth are too. small, they are nothing next to the greatness of Allāh جل جلاله. One of our brothers asked a question that came to his heart yesterday. Most people might have asked this question in their childhood. It is not a question to be asked in adulthood. But most of the world believes like this.

So what is this question? “Why did Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla create this world with so much suffering, poverty, and illnesses, with people killing each other? Would it not be possible for them to be in paradise without all of this?” This question cannot be asked by those of us who are Muslim. A Muslim, who thinks and believes, cannot ask such questions. Non-Muslims usually ask this question, either Christians, or Jews. The rest don’t care about anything anyway or they don’t accept anything. Therefore, most of the world does not know the power, greatness, and grandness of Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla.

Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla didn’t ask, while creating you, if you have any wishes or how you want it to be, if you want to suffer in this world and choose to go either to paradise or hell. He doesn’t ask such things. Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla is the Creator. He  created us. We don’t have any right. We don’t have any power. We don’t have any chance to ask Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla, “Why did You do this? What did You do it for? “A person with sound mind doesn’t even think like this. Because if he thinks a little, he knows Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla does what He wants. “Lā yus’alu ‘ammā yaf‘al” (21:23). No one can question His

actions. And no one can question His Azza wa-Jalla

wisdom. Old people say you can’t question His Azza wa-Jalla wisdom. It is not a joke.

Christians and Jews misbehaved as much as they could against Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. They say, “Ādam ‘alayhi s-salām was in paradise. He made a mistake and committed a sin. Because of his sin, all people are sinful because of him. If he didn’t eat the fruit, we would be in paradise.” They don’t say, “Allāh Azza wa-Jalla wanted, so it happened.” Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla sent Ādam ‘alayhi s-salām to earth for test. We, as Banī Ādam, as children of Ādam ‘alayhi s-salām, are tested in this world. Whoever passes will go to a place he deserves. Whoever fails will go where he deserves too. You cannot question why Allāh Azza wa-Jalla created hell and paradise. Our power is useless. Not only the whole world, but even if the whole universe was against Allāh Azza wa-Jalla they wouldn’t be able to do anything. We should know this. We should understand this , Muslims are not allowed to ask such questions. It is wrong.

Others, especially Christians have been doing so since the beginning. Even the apostles of ‘Īsā ‘alayhi s-salām, those who were the closest to him, asked him such a weird question. They asked, “Can Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla send down a table with food?” The question itself is wrong.

Is there anything Allāh Azza wa-Jalla cannot do? Where did you get all of your food and drink from? Therefore, it is normal for people who follow this completely broken religion to say such things.

But people who are Muslim should not imitate them and ask such questions. The biggest thing is, “Fa‘‘ālun li-mā yurīd” (85:16). Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla is the Absolutely Powerful, who can do anything and everything He Azza wa-Jalla wants. That is why you should banish those things, which don’t suit the essence of Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla, out of your mind. Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla can do everything that comes to your mind or not. There is nothing Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla can’t do.

May Allāh Azza wa-Jalla make us firm on this way. It is His Azza wa-Jalla way. We ask for this. Everything He Azza wa-Jalla does for us is a great blessing. And the greatest blessing is for us to follow this way firmly, in shā’a Llāh.

Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla saying. Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm. “Wa-mā qadarū Llāha ḥaqqa qadrihi” (39:67). Meaning, the human being now, of course other maybe they are better, like jinn or other. Even animal, they are knowing what meaning this. They knowing what Allāh can, what He Azza wa-Jalla is, or His Azza wa-Jalla value or what He Azza wa-Jalla is, what He Azza wa-Jalla

can do. They are saying, Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla, they are only [humans] they don’t know. And they don’t know and if they everything

He Azza wa-Jalla know also they are not respecting or accepting. Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla, He Azza wa-Jalla is doing. Everything can – what you imagine, what you don’t imagine – Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla can do, He Azza wa-Jalla do. We cannot say “can do”. He can, He Azza wa-Jalla do everything.

Why we saying this? Because many times people, they asking question. There is, when you are in childhood, you can say this. One brother, he ask something many people they ask him. Maybe he is living in Western country. Of course, they are mixed with Muslim, non-Muslim, other people. And so many time they ask him this. And from what they ask, he not thinking. He also know about religion, he teach religion. But from many time they ask this question for him, he also asking, ask me.

When we are in childhood, we was saying, “Oh, if Ādam ‘alayhi s-salām, he not cheated by shayṭān, we will be whole in paradise. We will be happy whole life. Not in this world.” This [if] children – okay. It is we not blame them, they don’t have real knowledge. But when you are getting older, Muslim people, they are respecting. They are – this question, not asking too much. Maybe rare they ask for this. If we… Why Allāh  Azza wa-Jalla. He ask, why Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla make people suffering, illness, war, drought and every bad thing we are living in this life. War and killing each other, doing very bad thing. “Why Allāh جل جلاله not make… why He جل جلاله make this, “?جل جلاله all this for people? and not put them in paradise without this. It is difficult for Him Azza wa-Jalla.

This is very wrong question for Muslim. For non-Muslim, they are all time they doing this. Not one second they not blame Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla or other, anybody, Prophets, anybody for this. This mentality of Western people. But for Muslim, this is – you cannot say this. Because you are not by yourself. “O, my Lord Azza wa-Jalla , I am – I will born but I want to be rich and happy and this. If You  Azza wa-Jalla don’t make, give me this, I will not come to this world.” Can anybody can say this? Nobody. So we have been here by His Azza wa-Jalla will, Allāh Azza wa-Jalla will. Nobody can blame anybody. Because he is here.

Like one, call Jāhiz, he was very ugly, poem from time of, I think Abbasid time or something like this. He was also not Ahlu s-Sunnah. He was very ugly. He said, in Arabic, “Hādhā mā janāhu abī ‘alayya wa-mā janaytu alá aḥad.” “This is what my father done for me.” Because he was very ugly and everybody run away from him. But he said, “He done this for me but I didn’t do anything for anybody.” He didn’t marry, no children for him. So he thought by himself he is coming and his father – blame his father to for his coming for dunyā. Nobody can blame his father, nobody blame his family – “You bring me here.” Family also they must be… Many people they blame themselves. “Uff, we… We married and we get children and this children become misery or sad or something like this.”

All from Allāh Azza wa-Jalla. If Allāh Azza wa-Jalla not want, nobody can come to this world. This is our belief, Muslim belief, real belief. And it is who has mind, accept this. Because no anything – you cannot run away from Allāh Azza wa-Jalla . To come against Allāh Azza wa-Jalla, to ask, “Why You Azza wa-Jalla do this?” Nobody can ask. If you ask, you will be cursed. You are not in democracy, or somebody want vote from you, to give you what you want. But Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla, if you obey and accept, you will be winner. If no, you will be whole time loser. Allāh جل جلاله can be do anything. Nothing cannot do. This is our belief and the not like Christian or Jewish. They all time, they are coming against. Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. Every time they are with prophets ṣallá Llāhu – their prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam, Allāh Azza wa-Jalla sent them something and replied for Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla, “We want this. If you do this, we can do this.” They make blackmail for Allāh Azza wa-Jalla even.

So this no good behave, no adab, this Islām, it is a real adab. All Prophets they are Islām but their nations they following their ego. So our thing, belief, you must be accept everything Allāh Azza wa-Jalla give you. Not to ask, “Why He Azza wa-Jalla

done this for us.” No, you cannot ask. You don’t have any other option. You are here. Either you be in hell or you be in paradise. This is only you can choose. You are here, you can’t choose, “I want this, I want that.” No. Only two option. Allāh Azza wa-Jalla make us who accept, and to be in paradises – paradise people, away from hell.

THE SECRET AND THE TRUTH

Lecture by Mawlana Sheikh Muhammad Adil ar-Rabbani,

Assalamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullah wa Barakatuh,

Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem, Wassalatu Wassalamu ala Rasulina Muhammadin Sayyidul Awwalin wal Akhirin, Madad Ya Rasulallah, Madad Ya Sadat As’habi RasuLillah, Madad Ya Mashayikhina, Dastur Mawlana Sheikh Abdullah Faiz Daghestani, Sheikh Nazim al-Haqqani. Madad. Tariqatunas sohba, wal khayru fil jamiyya.

A’ūdhu bi-Llāhi mina sh-shayṭāni r-rajīm. Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm:

اَلَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ طُوۡبٰى لَهُمۡ وَحُسۡنُ مَاٰبٍ

(Qur’ān 13:28). Allah جل جلاله states in the Holy Quran:

Those who have believed and whose hearts are assured by the remembrance of Allah. Unquestionably, by the remembrance of Allah hearts are assured. If people want peace and satisfaction, they should remember Allah جل جلاله. When they remember Allah جل جلاله, they find peace. Peace and beauty is in remembrance of Allah جل جلاله, making Dhikr of Allah جل جلاله. Don’t look elsewhere uselessly.

Allah جل جلاله is our Creator. He knows what gives us peace. The creature doesn’t know it. The creatures can only give instructions to do this and that. They do so, it doesn’t work. They try other things to get experience, it doesn’t work either. They make two, five, ten, million, ten million other attempts, nothing works. Everything hangs in the air because they are creatures. Only The Creator knows the secret. People don’t know it. They just scatter from one place to another and make people miserable too. And they never accept the truth. The truth is in front of their eyes. The one who finds the truth will not look for anything else.

Therefore, it is both the secret and the truth. Allah جل جلاله put it in front of people. Most people don’t want the truth. They stay away from the truth and run away from it. The truth is to be with Allah جل جلاله. He’s got the peace and beauty. Those who accept this will be happy. They will reach happiness here and hereafter. May Allah جل جلاله not take His Dhikr out of our hearts insha’Allah.

Wa min Allah at-Tawfiq.

[very Important]

THE MIDDLE OF THE END OF TIMES

Lecture by Mawlana Sheikh Muhammad Adil ar-Rabbani QS,

Dated: 23 August 2021 (15  Muharram 1443), Fajr Prayer, Akbaba Dergah, Istanbul, Turkey

Assalamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullah wa Barakatuh,

Auzu Billahi Minashaytanir Rajeem. Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem,

Wassalatu Wassalamu ala Rasulina Muhammadin Sayyidul Awwalin wal Akhirin,

Madad Ya Rasulallah, Madad Ya Sadat As’habi RasuLillah, Madad Ya Mashayikhina,

Dastur Mawlana Sheikh Abdullah Faiz Daghestani, Sheikh Nazim al-Haqqani. Madad.

Tariqatunas sohba, wal khayru fil jamiyya.

BismiLlahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim:

“لا ملجأَ ولا منجى من اللهِ إلّا إليه”,

“There is no refuge and no place of safety from Allah except in Him”. It is said about the condition of these days.

We have reached the middle of the end of times.

People cannot figure out what to do. There is a trouble that won’t go away. They try one thing, it doesn’t work. They try another thing, it doesn’t work either. It is not only in our country but all over the world.

There is a game of shaytan everywhere, but it certainly doesn’t work without the permission of Allah ﷻ.

Allah ‘Azza wa Jalla gave its remedy, and they are running away from this remedy.

 BismiLlahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim

‘فَفِرُّوا إِلَى اللّٰهِ ۖ إِنِّي لَكُم مِّنْهُ نَذِيرٌ مُّبِينٌ’,

‘So flee to Allah. Indeed, I am to you from Him a clear warner.’

(Holy Qur’ān 51:50).

“Seek refuge in Allah ﷻ. Who resorts to Allah ﷻ will be saved. Otherwise, I am warning you. And I am a great warner”, He says. If you don’t do so, you won’t be able to escape the troubles.

The whole world doesn’t know what to do. They think they will be saved if they do this, or it will be good if they do that. And they are waiting to say, “I did this” when something works out. You cannot do anything without the permission of Allah ﷻ.

You cannot escape troubles and you cannot escape disasters. As soon as people get a little strength, they get wild. They don’t accept anything and say, “I did this”. These Kafirs don’t even accept the existence of Allah ﷻ.

So Allah ﷻ sent this trouble for them to deal with it. Whereas, we should seek refuge in Allah ﷻ. We should beg Allah ﷻ, and the trouble will be lifted.

There were always troubles coming on Pharaoh. When Sayyidina Mūsā ‘alayhi s-salam said “Return to Allah ﷻ. Believe in Allah ﷻ. Trust in Allah ﷻ”, they asked him to show them something. And then frogs started appearing from everywhere. They said, “Fine, we will believe. Just make Dua for this to end”. That trouble was gone. But again, they didn’t believe. So fleas covered everywhere and bit everyone.

People said, “Make Dua to your God so that fleas are gone. We will believe”. One trouble after another, water turned into blood, but they didn’t change.

It is the same in our time. An illness has occurred.

They called Adhans and Salawat in the beginning, and then forgot about them. And when it became lighter, they stopped completely. It is exactly the same.

Various troubles are coming one after another. When they think they are saved from one thing, another appears. But instead of improving, people are only going wilder.

We should repent to Allah ﷻ and beg Allah ﷻ to save us from these troubles. Allah ‘Azza wa Jalla is our only destination. There is nowhere else to go, not to Kafirs.

Do not expect mercy from Kafirs. Kafirs are merciless.

The Merciful is Allah ‘Azza wa Jalla.

Kafirs give you poison instead of water, may Allah ﷻ protect us.

May we repent to Allah ﷻ so that He helps us and protects Islam and Muslims insha’Allah.

Wa min Allah at-Tawfi

Dunyā Is Like This,

Lecture by Shaykh Mehmet Adil al-Ḥaqqānī,

Ṣuḥbah of the 20th of June 2021, Lefke, Cyprus

As-Salāmu ‘alaykum wa-raḥmatu Llāhi wa-barakātuh.

A‘ūdhu bi-Llāhi mina sh-shayṭāni r-rajīm. Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm. Aṣ-ṣalātu wa-s- Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-awwalīna wa-l-ākhirīn. Madad yā Rasūla Llāh, madad yā Sādātī Aṣḥābi Rasūli Llāh, madad yā Mashāyikhanā, dastūr Mawlānā Shaykh ‘Abdu Llāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistānī, Shaykh Muḥammad Nāẓim al-Ḥaqqānī. Madad. Ṭarīqatuna ṣ-ṣuḥbah, wa-l-khayru fi l-jam’iyyah.

“Allāhumma-rzuqnā fahman wa-‘ilman.” I think it is a du‘ā’ of our Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم. “May Allāh جل جلاله let us understand.” When people understand the wisdom of Allāh جل جلاله, when they understand what happens and why, there is no problem anymore. And when people don’t understand, they all get into a fight. They call it a misunderstanding now. They don’t understand, so they misunderstand each other. Because they don’t know their rights, they cannot get along. All problems are because of this. When someone says something and another one does not understand it, he says something back. They keep saying things back and forth and a fight bursts out. People’s lives are like this.

Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla sends people tests. And they spend all their lives with thesetests. Ḥājjah Anne used to say that Ādam ‘alayhi s-salām cried for forty years and laughed for one year. There are much fewer comforts in this world than there are problems. But even that is enough for people. When people know its value, it is more than enough and even it increases. This is seen more in people of the end of times because people in old times used to do everything under harder conditions. Their cleaning, food, work, and transportation – everything was difficult. And now everything is easy for people. In old times, if a farmer had land, it took at least one to two months, according to its size, to plant it. They used bulls and horses. And when it came to harvest, they cut with their hands, lined it up and dried it. They didn’t have machines, so they carried it on horses. To collect the harvest and fill the storehouse, it took more than a month. And how does it work now? This work of a month is done, not in a day but just half a day with machinery. And then they are free. They go to coffeeshops and spend time with people.

When people are jobless, they interact with each other and create misunderstanding. There is a problem in everything. People of old times got along well but their problem was to work too much under the sun to hardly earn a living. The wasting of time of people now causes them other problems. The life of this world is not the life of Paradise. People can live without a problem only in Paradise. And they should be patient in this world. Everyone has their own problems. No one is in comfort. Poor and rich, everyone is given a test by Allāh جل جلاله. Whoever passes that test, understands it. A person who understands the wisdom of Allāh جل جلاله lives with understanding. Who does not understand it will always be sad.

May Allāh جل جلاله protect us. May Allāh جل جلاله let all of us understand. May we understand the wisdom of everything. May Allāh جل جلاله let all of us understand the kindness and generosity of Allāh جل جلاله, in shā Allah.

Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam was saying, “Allāhumma-rzuqnā fahman wa-‘ilman.” This is his صلى الله عليه وسلم du‘ā’, it was “fahim” meaning “to understand”. What understand? Everything. Because all problems in this world is misunderstanding. People when they misunderstand, they thought they are right and they thought this what other [person] meaning or saying it is like this. But normally, maybe this man or one, he said something, you misunderstand him and after, become problem more and more. This is example but meaning, when you understand the wisdom, everything it is easy for you. If you not understand, whole time problem, whole time sadness, anxious, everything, it will be with you.

This is nature of human being. Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla created like this. If they understand each other – no problem. But this is what Allāh جل جلاله also make people to try to understand each other. If not understanding, become like this their life terrible life. If they understand and they accept other’s rights, their right what it is, so it will be nice but unfortunately this life like this. But this is also from wisdom of Allāh جل جلاله – our life in this world, this life. Next life it will be either no problem or to [be] problem forever. So in this life we must be patient and to know what we are doing, and do this for the sake of Allāh

.جل جلاله

He جل جلاله put us in this position to, “li-yabluwakum ayyukum aḥsanu” (67:2), to understand which you will be better. It is for whole world, whole people, who rich or poor or middle, or the poorest one. Each one, they have problem for themselves. Don’t think it is, it was no problem before. Before of course it was problem to work, to lifestyle, it was difficult for people. They was using their body energy to work. Men he work in field or in other, factory or other. No car for him like now. They go from early morning by waiting for bus 6 o’clock to come nighttime. Woman in house, no electricity. They wash by hand, cook by fire. Make them tired and they was tired with this. To farmer it was also for him to grow his field [he] need maybe one or two months. And to take harvest also need one or two months, because by hand, by cow, or by horse. They hand working. But now what they do in two months maybe half a day or one day it will be finish. To harvest also same. So it will be.

Don’t think, now they’re no tired. Now tired more because they have time and this time using for themselves, for their ego. So also problem. Don’t think when you are poor, no problem, or you… old time people also they don’t have problem. Each one Allāh جل جلاله make them test for them. And for Ākhirah, He جل جلاله will reward for this. This is what meaning people not understanding, not listening. Don’t think in this life like Paradise. Paradise in next life. This life must be problem for each one, for believer, not believer, rich, white, dark, black, yellow. Everyone they have their problem. Some of them you see, you see these people suffering, you say, “Oh, al-ḥamdu liLlāh.” But after you forget this also.

Al-ḥamdu liLlāh we are, with ni‘mah of Allāh جل جلاله, we’re happy. We must be thankful and understanding we are in, in dunyā, in world. This life it is like this. This is the most important thing to understand. Allāh جل جلاله give us, help us in shā’a Llāh.

Be Straight on the Way of Allāh

Lecture by Shaykh Mehmet Adil al-Ḥaqqānī,

Ṣuḥbah of the 24th of July 2021, Lefke – Cyprus

Shaykh Mehmet Adil al-Ḥaqqānī, Ṣuḥbah of the 24th of July 2021.

As-Salāmu ‘alaykum wa-raḥmatu Llāhi wa-barakātuh.

A‘ūdhu bi-Llāhi mina sh-shayṭāni r-rajīm.

A‘ūdhu bi-Llāhi mina sh-shayṭāni r-rajīm. Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm. Aṣ-ṣalātu wa-s- Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-awwalīna wa-l-ākhirīn. Madad yā Rasūla Llāh, madad yā Sādātī Aṣḥābi Rasūli Llāh, madad yā Mashāyikhanā, dastūr Mawlānā Shaykh ‘Abdu Llāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistānī, Shaykh Muḥammad Nāẓim al-Ḥaqqānī. Madad. Ṭarīqatuna ṣ-ṣuḥbah, wa-l-khayru fi l-jam’iyyah.

Mankind was ordered to do goodness by Allāh جل جلاله. To do goodness is difficult for people’s egos. It is not easy. Even though it is something easy, worship and obedience to Allāh جل جلاله seem difficult. It is the same for all people.

Our Holy Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam is saying, “Shayyabatnī Hūd.” “Sūratu l-Hūd made my hair turn white.” It made it become gray. Our Holy Prophet’s ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam body was not like a body of an ordinary man. Even when he was old, his hair was black and hadn’t whitened. A little of his hair turned white. The hair of Holy Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam was always black. There were 15 or 20 white hairs. Because of the heaviness of this sūrah, and the order that came, our Holy Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa- sallam, said, “It came heavy on me and turned some of my hair white.” Some hair of his holy beard turned white.

And what is that? Just a few words. “Fa-staqim kamā umirt” (11:112). This āyah. Few words. “Fa-staqim kamā umirt” (11:112). “Be straight on the way as it has been ordered.” You say it’s nothing when you look as an ordinary man. But it is such a thing that doing it, even for our Holy Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam… It is more for his صلى الله عليه وسلم Ummah because our Holy Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam is firm on the way. “Wa-man tāba ma‘aka” (11:112) – “With those who are with you, be straight on the way.” Be on the good way so that people don’t separate from the right way.

This is the order, the order of Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. And mankind finds it very hard. Some follow a way and many people leave it. They turn in the wrong direction and then some of them return to the way but some of them don’t return. Some are not on the way at all. Very few people are straight on the way. As it is not easy, mankind doesn’t want to do it. They don’t do it. Our Holy Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says in ḥadīth, “Afḍalu l-a‘māli ashaqquhā.” “The most virtuous of good deeds are the difficult ones.” And they are not difficult, but they are hard on the ego. If there was no ego, everyone would do it. Everyone would do it easily without effort. Only the ego is preventing it. It shows every worship, every goodness, as something hard. Whereas, they do much more difficult things. They have passed through more difficult things. And when it comes to worship and carrying out the order of Allāh جل جلاله, they cannot do it. They obey the ego.

Whoever doesn’t obey his ego, attains the pleasure of Allāh جل جلاله then. His rank increases. His light expands. And his goodness grows. And whoever follows his ego, doesn’t do it. He is lazy and says he can’t do it and that it’s hard. He doesn’t do it. He is deprived of the virtues then. He loses so many virtues and thawāb. May Allāh جل جلاله protect us from the evil of our ego.

May Allāh جل جلاله help us. May Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla help us carry out these beautiful orders of our and the orders of Allah Azza wa-Jalla.

To make good thing, it is not easy. Order of Allāh جل جلاله to make good thing but when you want to make, it is difficult for yourself, for, from you see, you say, “I am… I cannot do this, it is too difficult.” This for whole human being, it is like this.

Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam also he صلى الله عليه وسلم said, “There was one āyah in Sūrat Hūd, Sūrat Hūd make my beard, some of hair of beard become white.” Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi صلى الله عليه وسلم Even his .صلى الله عليه وسلم was strong. Nobody can be like him صلى الله عليه وسلم body look like us but he صلى الله عليه وسلم wa-sallam his shape look like normal people, but when you see, you look for his صلى الله عليه وسلم, how his صلى الله عليه وسلم power – he’s was sixty year or more – his صلى الله عليه وسلم powerful more than thousand men also. But even shape, he صلى الله عليه وسلم said, “My beard صلى الله عليه وسلم beard was black. No white. And after, when this sūrah, āyah coming, he صلى الله عليه وسلم become…” not all of them, maybe twenty or fifteen one from his beard mubārak, “…become white.

What it is āyah? Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm. “Fa-staqim kamā umirta wa-man tāba ma‘ak” (11:112). This very short. Only be not so long – short but it is difficult for human ,صلى الله عليه وسلم being. For Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam of course not. Nothing difficult for him but he صلى الله عليه وسلم… for his صلى الله عليه وسلم Ummah, for his صلى الله عليه وسلم companions, he صلى الله عليه وسلم was coming very heavy with this. He from this heaviness, he صلى الله عليه وسلم has his صلى الله عليه وسلم hair become some of them white. What is this “fa- staqim”? Be in istiqāmah, meaning to be straight in way of Allāh جل جلاله, not going right, left, just go straight. Don’t do anything against this. What Allāh جل جلاله say – follow. Not follow what people say, what is you like to say. Only you follow this. When you look for this, you, maybe you think it is easy. Not easy. Even Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam he صلى الله عليه وسلم carrying all this thing and he صلى الله عليه وسلم become heavy for him صلى الله عليه وسلم. How become easy for us? It is really difficult but as much difficult, as much reward also more. Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam “Afḍalu l- a‘māli ashaqquhā.” “The best what you do, you done, it is the most difficult one, it is most acceptable one in divine presence of Allah Azza wa-Jalla.

So we are trying to follow what Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla ordered us. Normally it is not difficult what Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla ordered for us but what meaning, what be… what is thing make it very difficult, very heavy for us? It is our ego because they don’t not like to do this; try to stop you from this. If you do wrong thing, you be, you find it very easy. But even it is more, ten times difficult from worshipping but for ego, for your self, you enjoy this. But when coming to for ‘ibādah, make it difficult and not enjoyful. Say, “It’s too heavy for me. I cannot do this.”

Many people they are not doing. Not… Following their ego. Some of them doing, some of them going straight without looking right and left – but this is very few people. Many people from beginning they’re not doing anything. Some of them coming halfway, going right or left, going out of way. Some of them continue for straight direction.

Allāh جل جلاله make us to be with these people and make it easy for us to do this, not following our ego who keep you halfway. And when we’re in halfway, you be not happy even with yourself. You said, “Oh, I must go direct but why I stop here?” You cannot. Many of the people they not going. Even they wondering, they are not continuing. Ya, of course, you can continue if you stop. Come to straightway again and continue. But many people they say, “No. We are finish. We cannot do.” You can do but your ego and your self will be not happy with this, .جل جلاله make us to be easy for us, help us, yā Allāh جل جلاله you’ll be regret in Ākhirah. Allāh Azza wa-Jalla.

DESTINY IS A SECRET OF ALLAH ﷻ

Mawlana Sheikh Muhammad Adil ar-Rabbani Q.S,

25 August 2021/17 Muharram 1443, Fajr Prayer, Akbaba Dergah, Istanbul, Turkey

Assalamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullah wa Barakatuh,

Auzu Billahi Minashaytanir Rajeem. Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem,

Wassalatu Wassalamu ala Rasulina Muhammadin Sayyidul Awwalin wal Akhirin,

Madad Ya Rasulallah, Madad Ya Sadat As’habi RasuLillah, Madad Ya Mashayikhina,

Dastur Mawlana Sheikh Abdullah Faiz Daghestani, Sheikh Nazim al-Haqqani. Madad. Tariqatunas sohba, wal khayru fil jamiyya.

Our Holy Prophet ﷺ says that to believe in destiny is to believe in the oneness of Allah ﷻ.

The destiny of people is written in the sight of Allah ﷻ, and it is a secret of Allah ‘Azza wa Jalla, says our Holy Prophet ﷺ.

Our Holy Prophet ﷺ says that whoever knows that it is a secret and believes in it will be in comfort.

When something happens, many people get upset and desperate trying to understand how and why that happened.

But people who believe in destiny know that it came from Allah ﷻ and there is no need to be sad and to change it. It happened, so we cannot change it.

There is a saying – there is no cure for the dead nor for the past. The dead is dead and the past is gone.

You cannot die for it.

Therefore, this matter is important. People are in sorrow and sadness all the time.

Those who believe in destiny let go of sorrow and sadness. It had to happen, so it did. There is no other solution. Whether you get upset or happy, this has to happen. While Adam Efendi was walking a couple of days ago, he broke his leg.

People wonder why it happened and say if only he hadn’t been there. But that had to happen, so it happened. Whatever comes after will be a reward and Thawab for him. What can you do? There is nothing else to do. May Allah ﷻ protect us from bad destiny.

When you have ‘iman, it is fine. That is also in the destiny of people. And if Allah ‘Azza wa Jalla gave ‘iman or not, that is also a secret of Allah ﷻ.

A person who has this secret, a person with ‘iman should always make Dua to Allah ﷻ and ask for steadfastness, to have a good destiny and to have a good end. This is the most important thing. Everyone should think about this. They should not be sad about other things.

May Allah ﷻ give us all steadfastness. May our ends be good.

Wa min Allah at-Tawfiq.

LEARN FROM THE MISTAKES

Mawlana Sheikh Muhammad Adil ar-Rabbani 19 May 2021/7 Shawwāl 1442

Morning Prayer, Akbaba Dergah, Istanbul, Turkey

Assalamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullah wa Barakatuh,

Auzu Billahi Minashaytanir Rajeem. Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem, Wassalatu Wassalamu ala Rasulina Muhammadin Sayyidul Awwalin wal Akhirin, Madad Ya Rasulallah, Madad Ya Sadat As’habi RasuLillah, Madad Ya Mashayikhina, Dastur Mawlana Sheikh Abdullah Faiz Daghestani, Sheikh Nazim al-Haqqani. Madad. Tariqatunas sohba, wal khayru fil jamiyya.

A’ūdhu bi-Llāhi mina sh-shayṭāni r-rajīm. Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm:

وَتِلۡكَ الۡاَيَّامُ نُدَاوِلُهَا بَيۡنَ النَّاسِۚ

Qur’ān 03:140). Allah جل جلاله states in the Qur’an ‘Azimu sh-Shan: ‘And these days [of varying conditions] We alternate among the people.’ In these days, there will always be a ruling by someone from people, coming one after another. Someone will come after this one. And then someone else will come after him as well. This is the ruling Allah جل جلاله gave to mankind. All of them will not be ruling forever. Certainly, others will come, good and bad. Allah جل جلاله gives a ruler according to the people’s condition. He gives you people like yourself, those whom you deserve.

Therefore, there is no need to be sad about things that happened before. What happened has happened. Arabs say, “ما فات مات”, “What’s done is done”. And Turkish people say that you cannot prevent what is coming. Things have occurred. You have to take a lesson from them and stay away from mistakes. In order not to repeat mistakes and cause troubles, we should look at them and take our lesson. Of course, you feel sad for what’s happened. But what can you do? It has already happened. You cannot do anything with it. You should be careful yourself and protect yourself.

You should guard the favors Allah جل جلاله has given you. Make Shukr for the favors so that they last. And the greatest favor is the favor of Islam, then the favor of homeland and the government of Islam, thank Allah جل جلاله. These are big favors. We should not underestimate them. Allah جل جلاله gave these things to you. You should know their value and give their right. People are living by taking everything for granted. They are sad for the past and are suffering, but they don’t take a lesson. When the same mistakes are repeated, your sadness is useless. When you learn from the mistake and stay away from that mistake, you get benefit and you don’t give a chance to bad people.

These days are sometimes good and sometimes bad. Thank Allah جل جلاله, the coming days are for Islam even though they seem bad. Darkness and oppression have reached their limits since a hundred years. There hasn’t been as much shame, as much Kufr and as much rebellion in the world’s history. If it had happened to the nations of old times,

Allah جل جلاله would have destroyed them. However, as we are living in the end of times, the last name of Allah جل جلاله is manifesting – As-Sabur, the Most Patient. Therefore, they are not destroyed yet. There has not been such Kufr and such impertinence since the world was created. But as we said in the beginning of the Sohbah, it is their days now. Allah جل جلاله willing, good days, pure days and happy days will come later. May Allah جل جلاله let us reach those days. May Allah جل جلاله protect us all and give strength to our Iman insha’Allah.

Wa min Allah at-Tawfiq.

TARIQA IS TO TRAIN THE EGO

Hazrat Shaykh Muhammad Mehmet ar-Rabbani

13 March 2021/29 Rajab 1442, Sabah Namaz, Akbaba Dargah, Istanbul, Turkey

Assalamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullah wa Barakatuh,

Auzu Billahi Minashaytanir Rajeem. Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem, Wassalatu Wassalamu ala Rasulina Muhammadin Sayyidul Awwalin wal Akhirin, Madad Ya Rasulallah, Madad Ya As’habi RasuLillah, Madad Ya Mashayikhina, Sheykh Abdullah Daghestani, Sheykh Nazim al-Haqqani. Dastur.

Tariqatunas sohba, wal khayru fil jamiyya.

Son of man likes to be praised. Bismillahirrahman Al Rahim, And never think that those who rejoice in what they have done (or brought about) and love to be praised for what they did not do – never think them [to be] in safety from the punishment.’ (Holy Qur’ān 03:188). Do not think that when people praise you saying that you’re such and such, and if you’re not a good person, that you’ll be saved from punishment in the hereafter; even if all the people tried to boast you saying that you’re so and so. That’s what humans love. That’s what the Nafs (ego) loves. Yet we should not do what our Nafs likes but what Allah جل جلاله likes.

Tariqa is to train the Nafs. To train it so that it may be saved from bad habits and characteristics, and have good habits and manners. Why else would Tariqa be good for? Tariqa teaches Adab and good Akhlaq, good manners and morals. That’s the most important thing. That’s the thing that Allah جل جلاله and our Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم love. It’s the character of our Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم.

Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim

وَاِنَّكَ لَعَلٰى خُلُقٍ عَظِيۡمٍ

And indeed, you are on an exalted standard of character.’ (Holy Qur’ān 68:04). ‘You are in the highest character of Adab’, that’s how Allah جل جلاله describes our Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم. If we aren’t in control of our Nafs then we’ll be ruined, disgraced and nothing else. This is the case for Tariqa and this is the case for Islam too. Our Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said: “If a person praises you then throw dirt on his face.” Do not listen to them, do not pay attention to them. Your Nafs is not good, it needs to be trained. How is it trained? When it’s praised, it likes to be praised. If people say a small thing that it doesn’t like, one gets upset and doesn’t want to hear it. In Tariqa you have to be the same with everybody, with those who upset you and those who make you happy. If they say things against you that you don’t like, you shouldn’t be upset or sad. Also if they tell you something you like, you shouldn’t be happy. If they tell you things that you don’t like and even if you’re not happy with it, you shouldn’t be sad saying that your ego deserves more and you should accept it.

Now people of these times do all sorts of things so others may like them. They do weird and strange things everywhere and they do things that don’t fit them. It could be things that fit them as well but they do everything just so others can praise them. It’s not important that people praise you, what is important is for Allah جل جلاله to praise you. A person whom Allah جل جلاله praises is saved. The aim is the pleasure of Allah جل جلاله not the pleasure of people. You cannot make people happy anyway. No matter how much you try, people will never be pleased or totally satisfied. People are one minute with you and the next minute against you. Therefore, seek the pleasure of Allah جل جلاله, His contentment and not our ego’s. May Allah جل جلاله help us. These are not easy things. We’re saying it with a couple of words but to apply it is hard. May Allah جل جلاله help us so we may train our ego insha’Allah.

Wa Minallah at-Tawfeeq.

THE TEST OF ILLNESS

Ṣuḥbah of Shaykh Muḥammad Mehmet !Adil

Dated 01 February 2021 / 19 Jumādá l-Ūlá 1442 Akbaba Dergah, Morning Prayers, Istanbul, Turkey

As-Salāmu !alaykum wa raḥmatu Llāh.

A”!dhu bi-Llāhi mina sh-Shayṭāni r-rajīm. Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm.

Waṣ-ṣalātu wa s-salāmu !alā Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Ākhirīn. Madad yā Rasūla Llāh, madad yā Sādati Aṣḥābi Rasūli Llāh, madad yā Mashāyikhinā, dastūr yā Shaykh !Abdu Llāh al-F#$iz ad-Dāghistānī, Shaykh Muḥammad Nāẓim al-Ḥaqqānī. Madad. Ṭarīqatunā ṣ-ṣuḥbah wa l-khayru fi l-jam#iyyah.

Alhamdu Li-Llāh wa-shukru li-Llāh. Thanks be to Allah, this test has passed, thank God. Disease is also a test; it is something that happens to everyone; it is Allah’s will. It is a blessing; the things Allah gives are blessings. Thanks be to Allah, Allah also gave health.

It is the wisdom of Allah that the greatest healing is in prayers. Prayer is healing. Thanks to the dua of the believers and the dua of the ikhwans, we have our health. Thanks be to Allah, and with thanking Allah the blessings increase. The greatest blessing is health and well-being, as our Prophet (Peace & Blessing Upon Him) said. He says when you pray, ask forgiveness from Allah; ask for forgiveness and health. The one who is ill knows the value of that blessing better and gives thanks more, because Allah has given such a blessing. And yet people are ungrateful, and do not know its value. If you give thanks all of your life for the slightest blessing of bodily health, it will still be less gratitude for it than Allah deserves.

However, Allah is generous. He gives without looking [to keep count], and says, & Take it.” Pay attention, be grateful so that more can come. Allah full of glory gave such blessings from His greatness, and gave them with such generosity, but people are ungrateful. They do not know the value of anything. Those who rebel against Him already deserve hell; there is nothing else we can say. Amidst such tests, disbelief peaks again, rebellion against Allah peaks. May Allah protect us. May He help us, and have us not be among those people, because if those people do not repent, they will suffer all kinds of evil.

Muslims are silent, but they thank God. They know the blessings that Allah has given. May Allah help us. Insha#Allah, we will always be with the truth, and that is the most important thing. InshaAllah, we will not fail the test. “Believers are always on the side of good,” our Prophet (Peace & Blessing Upon Him) says. A believer is in a good state even if he is sick, or he is good if not. When he is sick, Allah rewards for his gratitude, and those who die from such an epidemic are considered martyrs.

Allah has given the believers every kind of good. Be with Allah, and you will find what is good. Those who are against Allah, even if they had not only the whole world, but ten more worlds,it would still have novalue and would be useless. What good can a person do who does not even benefit himself?

PATIENCE IS A FAVOR OF ALLAH

Hazrat Shaykh Muhammad Mehmet ar-Rabbani

22 February 2021/10 Rajab 1442, Sabah Namaz, Akbaba Dargah, Istanbul, Turkey

Assalamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullah wa Barakatuh,

Auzu Billahi Minashaytanir Rajeem. Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem, Wassalatu Wassalamu ala Rasulina Muhammadin Sayyidul Awwalin wal Akhirin, Madad Ya Rasulallah, Madad Ya As’habi RasuLillah, Madad Ya Mashayikhina, Sheykh Abdullah Daghestani, Sheykh Nazim al-Haqqani. Dastur.

Tariqatunas sohba, wal khayru fil jamiyya.

Patience is a good thing; it is a favor of Allah جل جلاله on people. Those who have patience reach safety. Patience is difficult and the Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم says: “Don’t ask for patience, only as much as you can handle”, because people of these days don’t have the slightest patience left. People of old times could carry so much more with patience. But people of today don’t want that, they want everything to be ready and done in one minute. If they wait for five minutes they get fed up, and they don’t even have patience for that.  For other things and for what is beyond that, when Allah جل جلاله wants it, whether you want it or not, you’ll have to go through it. So if you are patient with what Allah جل جلاله wills and what He gives you, your reward will be great.

اِنَّمَا يُوَفَّى الصّٰبِرُوۡنَ اَجۡرَهُمۡ بِغَيۡرِ حِسَابٍ

‘Indeed, the patient will be given their reward without account.’ (Holy Qur’ān 39:10). Your works will go well in this world, and it will certainly be good in the hereafter too. However, as we said, Man was created of haste.’

خُلِقَ الۡاِنۡسَانُ مِنۡ عَجَلٍ‌ؕ

(Holy Qur’ān 21:37).

Humans have been created of haste, they want things to be done quickly.

Therefore, there is a virtue and reward with every difficulty for those who are with Allah جل جلاله and for those who have Iman (faith). Those who do not believe in Allah جل جلاله, their patience has no value or advantage whatsoever.

Then be patient or impatient it is all the same for

فَاصۡبِرُوۡۤا اَوۡ لَا تَصۡبِرُوۡا‌ۚ سَوَآءٌ عَلَيۡكُمۡ‌ؕ

Allah جل جلاله says to the nonbelievers / infidels in hellfire. Be patient or impatient, there’s no use for it [patience] anymore, He says. So may Allah جل جلاله make us amongst those who are satisfied with what He gives and what He has decreed for us insha’Allah. May He not burden us with things that we cannot carry. May He treat us with His Iḥsān, gifts and favors insha’Allah. May He reward us insha’Allah.

THE END OF TIMES IS NEAR

Mawlana Sheikh Muhammad Adil ar-Rabbani 3 June 2021/22 Shawwāl 1442

Morning Prayer, Akbaba Dergah, Istanbul, Turkey

Assalamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullah wa Barakatuh,

Auzu Billahi Minashaytanir Rajeem. Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem, Wassalatu Wassalamu ala Rasulina Muhammadin Sayyidul Awwalin wal Akhirin, Madad Ya Rasulallah, Madad Ya Sadat As’habi RasuLillah, Madad Ya Mashayikhina, Dastur Mawlana Sheikh Abdullah Faiz Daghestani, Sheikh Nazim al-Haqqani. Madad. Tariqatunas sohba, wal khayru fil jamiyya.

Allah جل جلاله appointed a time for everything. When the time comes, things happen. People want some things to happen but unless the time comes, they don’t happen. It is by the will of Allah جل جلاله, Ahsan ul-Khaliqeen, ‘The Best of Creators’, subhanAllah.

Allah جل جلاله created everything in the best shape. From the smallest things to the largest, created everything by a measure.

BismiLlahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim

وَكُلُّ شَىۡءٍ عِنۡدَهٗ بِمِقۡدَارٍ‏‏

Allah And everything with Him is by due measure.” (Qur’ān 13:08). Everything has its“ بِمِقۡدَارٍ,” ِ time and measure. Where will it come from? Where will it go? How will it be? Not only yours, but the mind of whole universe cannot comprehend the power of Allah جل جلاله. The universe rotates by this power. Therefore, if something is to happen, it doesn’t happen with you pushing it. Some of your work may occur. Things that will happen in this world do so with His knowledge and His will.

The world has existed for thousands of years since ‘Adam ‘alayhi s-salam. The world is certainly older than ‘Adam ‘alayhi s-salam. But the time of the sons of Adam has been since thousands of years. This time is about to finish. Allah جل جلاله knows how much is left. It is very close. The Awliya know everything with the will of Allah جل جلاله. Allah جل جلاله shared it with very few people, and they don’t tell when it will be. But they give good tidings about it coming close. Allah جل جلاله is giving good tidings in Qur’an ‘Azimu sh-Shan that the end of times is near. Allah جل جلاله knows how long it has been since ‘Adam ‘alayhi s-salam until now. However, we are close to the end of times. The time of the sons of Adam is about to be over. People should take measures and prepare themselves accordingly. People are going wilder and committing more sins. They are rebelling more. They think that they will stay here forever. Even if you are here forever, your life will be over and you will go to Ākhirah.

The time of mankind and this world is about to finish. Allah جل جلاله knows if we will be alive in an hour. Therefore, we should think about why we are living here. Believers are in safety.

اَ سْلِمْ تَسْلَمُ

“Become Muslim and you will be safe”. Submit to Islam and be saved. Otherwise, neither you, nor this world will remain. What will remain is Ākhirah. We have to be prepared for it. We have to know that it is our true homeland. We have to prepare. Ourselves accordingly. And preparation is to carry out Allah’s جل جلاله orders. Allah جل جلاله doesn’t give hardship to anyone. It is easy. Do it and go on. Whenever its time/ the hour comes, you will leave in safety and peace. May Allah جل جلاله give us safety of eman and protect us from the evil of shaytan.

Wa min Allah at-Tawfiq.

Come to the Place of Happiness

Shaykh Mehmet Adil al-Ḥaqqānī, Ṣuḥbah of the 27th of July 2021.

Lefke – Cyprus

As-Salāmu ‘alaykum wa-raḥmatu Llāhi wa-barakātuh.

A‘ūdhu bi-Llāhi mina sh-shayṭāni r-rajīm. Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm. Aṣ-ṣalātu wa-s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-awwalīna wa-l-ākhirīn. Madad yā Rasūla Llāh, madad yā Sādātī Aṣḥābi Rasūli Llāh, madad yā Mashāyikhanā, dastūr Mawlānā Shaykh ‘Abdu Llāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistānī, Shaykh Muḥammad Nāẓim al-Ḥaqqānī. Madad.

Ṭarīqatuna ṣ-ṣuḥbah, wa-l-khayru fi l-jam’iyyah.

Whoever asks for goodness from Allāh جل جلاله ,whoever asks for a good life, should trust in Allāh جل جلاله and seek refuge in Allāh جل جلاله .Whoever is together with Allāh جل جلاله is always in happiness. His work is always going well. What is meant by work going well? It is important that the work of Ākhirah goes well. The work of dunyā is not so important. Everyone has a situation, has a different condition. When people deal with their own work of Ākhirah, if they are good in that, they are in profit. Dunyā is not important at all.

One Awliyā’ said that in old times – I can’t remember his name now – there was a drought and no rain in one country. They thought about what to do and decided to go out and make a prayer for rain. They went out. First day – no rain. Second day – no rain. Third day – no rain, nothing. There was no rain at all. And then the big Awliyā’ went to the mosque.

Someone came before the fajr prayer and he saw him make du‘ā’ there. He made a prayer for rain to Allāh جل جلاله .As soon as he finished, it started raining heavily and covered everywhere.

There was a lot of rain. The man was surprised and wondered if it rained because of the prayer of that man. He looked to see who he was, which holy man, which Awliyā’. He looked and saw a black slave making du‘ā’. He didn’t say anything to him but followed him from behind until he entered some place.

As day dawned, he went to that house to meet him. He looked around and asked from the owner, “There is a slave here. I like him. I want to buy him.” All the slaves were brought out. “Not this one, not this one… Not this. None of them,” he said at last and asked if there were more. “Yes, there is someone useless. We didn’t show him to you. He won’t be useful to you. He is completely useless, always on his own. And he doesn’t know anything but praying by himself. He is sitting over there.” The man said, “Let me see him.” He recognized him immediately and said, “Let me have him at any price.” The owner said, “I can give him for free. He is useless anyway.” The man gave some money and took him home. The slave asked him at home, “Why did you take me? I am useless.” “You are very useful. With your du‘ā’ it started raining. You are a beloved servant of Allāh جل جلاله .I will make you free for the pleasure of Allāh جل جلاله so that you pray for me as well.” He made du‘ā’ and said, “My secret has been revealed.” He made sajdah and passed away.

These people are happy on their own. They don’t care about the benefits of dunyā. They are people of Ākhirah. Their duty is for Ākhirah, not for dunyā. And they don’t desire dunyā. They don’t mind being a slave and don’t ask for freedom. They ask for the pleasure of Allāh جل جلاله ,the pleasure of Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. And they are beloved servants of Allāh جل جلاله .People of the present time, we are living in this now… Whoever is with the beloved servant of Allāh جل جلاله, whoever is with Allāh جل جلاله ,in shā’a Llāh, will always be in happiness in dunyā and in Ākhirah. People who are with Mashāyikh, who are straight on the way… When they say, “I am such and such,” it means they are not truly initiated into that way. Even when there is suffering, that suffering is a favour from Allāh جل جلاله .It is a virtue Allāh جل جلاله will give you. If you are patient, you will attain high ranks, big virtues, big thawāb.

Because people nowadays have gotten used to complaining. They always complain. Everyone is like this. Everyone is same. People of this end of times are put in a single form. People of the end of times… People of old times must be remembered. What we mean by old times is the people who lived even 30-40 years ago, who lived 50 years ago. We don’t mean 300-500 years ago. Their lives were very different from ours. It was much more difficult. There are so many tools to make it simple now but they make people’s lives even more difficult. Therefore, don’t be accustomed to complaining. Do not complain. Be with Awliyā’ and Mashāyikh, you will be in Paradise in dunyā and in Paradise in Ākhirah, in shā’a Llāh.

We are living with Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla bless, we are happy with Him جل جلاله .If you like to be happy, come to place who praise Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam, mentioning Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. This is what Mawlānā Shaykh was every time he happy with mawlīd – Turkish mawlīd. Meaning, if you want happiness, you want gift from Allāh جل جلاله ,praise Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam and come to majlis of dhikr, place of mentioning Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla whole time. This is happiness for human being. This is what Mashāyikh taught and people must look after this.

This dunyā, now people just looking for job, for – many thing they are looking but what they don’t look for [is] how to make Allāh جل جلاله pleased with us, happy with us. This is what we forget.

They forget all time. Only they are – important thing for them, to have more and more and more. What is this? What you get more and more? If you don’t have love of Allāh جل جلاله and Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam, this not make you happy, make you more misery. Because your intention just to collect, not only to even you enjoy yourself. Many people we know, they were succeed and they was working seven days a week and they have good business but when you see them, maybe you thought they are working in this shop because they are like very misery. But they have money enough for hundred year. But also their aim only to collect money, not to do anything for Allāh جل جلاله ,for poor people, for sake of Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. Who work and make this for Allāh جل جلاله ,he will be happy and pleased with what he done because his aim – all time pleasure of Allāh جل جلاله and Allāh جل جلاله happy with people who doing this for Him جل جلاله ,not forgetting anytime Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla.

Because our life it is, for everybody, certain time and in this certain time you must be take as much you can take from this, benefit from this. Don’t waste anything. If Allāh جل جلاله open for you, don’t say, “This is, what I can do this?” You can do many thing for charity, for sake of Allāh Almighty for every good thing. People they are looking only for appearance, not looking for other thing. They was also with – I said in Turkish but it is also for this, like this – who he is like to be in Paradise, he must be with Allāh, with Awliyā’u Llāh, with Mashāyikh. Who are with them, they are in Paradise in dunyā and Ākhirah, even if they are in the worst situation. This what one of great Awliyā’u Llāh, I forget his name now. There was drought in city, in country and they pray for rain. People – this is the sunnah of Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam, if [no] any, no rain, whole city or whole village, they go out to some open place and they make istighfār and praying and making du‘ā’ for rain.

It is every time Allāh جل جلاله give rain after this. But in this time once, this Awliyā’, he was in one country and they went out. They pray first day – no one drop of rain coming. And they was ya‘nī people – small, old, every kind of people. Second day also – no one drop also. Third day also they go all and so they was very disappoint and hopeless. “Allāh جل جلاله ,He جل جلاله maybe He جل جلاله is angry with us, He جل جلاله don’t want give us water.” And nighttime, this Awliyā’u Llāh, he said, “I was in mosque and one man, I before tahajjud I saw one man, he coming and standing behind one pillar and praying. After praying, make du‘ā’ asking for rain. And when he finish du‘ā’ – rain. It was heavy rain. Raining, raining, raining. Everywhere was full of water. And he went.” And this Awliyā’u Llāh, he know this – Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla, for the sake of this man, He جل جلاله make this rain to come.

He follow him and he saw him went to one house. In morning, he went that house and asking for him and because in old time was slave people. Many slave they, people living with their masters. And he said to master, “I saw one poor from your slave in mosque, I want to buy him.” Old time they was selling and buying. So this man he said, “Okay. Which one?” He said, “I don’t know but when I see him, I can know who he is.” They bring the best one for him. He said, “Not this, not that. No one of this, what you show me. You have another one?” He said, “No, I don’t have.” He said, “You sure?” “Yes, there is one but he is not good for you at all. He is not useful anything. Not doing anything, only he very ill – not eating, not drinking. Praying whole time, worshipping Allāh جل جلاله .For this I just give him ṣadaqah, leave him there to live there. I not bothering him or saying anything for him.” He said, “Can I see this?” And when he see him, “Yeah that’s – this one I want him.” “I can give you free,” he said. “He is not doing anything.” “No I will give his price and I must take him and make him free for Allāh جل جلاله”.

So he take him to his house, not saying anything in front of master. When he go to his house, he said, “Why you buy me? I am useless, I cannot do anything for you. You pay money for me for nothing. You lose your money. Forgive me but I told you this and my master say.” He said, “I know you are – I see you in the mosque and you are doing this du‘ā’ and Allāh جل جلاله accept and I give you free for Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla.” When he said this, other one he was crying and saying, “Oh, my secret coming, let me pray two raka‘āt.” And when he prayed two raka‘āt, he was finish. So, he was happy with no anything for him disturb him in dunyā. And in dunyā, he is like with Allāh جل جلاله ,he was in Paradise also. But when Ākhirah – also Paradise.

For this, people don’t be hopeless, don’t be making complaining. This nowadays people, all of them complaining for everything. It is time difficult but it is also from Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla.

Same before. Old people, they wasn’t so much complaining – old time people. Old time people, what we said – not before 500 year or 300 year – maybe for 50, 60 year before. People they was not so complaining like this. But nowaday people, they teach them: “Everything you must complain, you must ask this, you must ask, you are in democracy, you are to” So, making people more unhappy. Not happy, more unhappy. Before people, they were teaching them to obey Allāh جل جلاله and to be only themself in peace. Who is in peace with himself, he is in Paradise, even he is in jail or another place. So Allāh جل جلاله give us this happiness and make us to be with who are with Awliyā’, Mashāyikh – he is in dunyā and Ākhirah in Jannah also, in Paradise, in shā’a Llāh.

Wa-min Allāhi t-tawfīq,
